Ok..this by far has had the greatest ring of truth IMO!!! Whereas yes, I believe him to be that brutal, completely and flatly desensitized to extreme torturous violence[The Maeva creation of his temporarily took my breath away].. I have been a horror movie fan all my life..but there is a grave difference in what I enjoy in a good horror, get your blood pumping, flick...a stark contrast to the vicious and extremely detailed tortures he types out of Maeva and Amir..So yes, while I believe that to be every bit a part, even a large part of his psyche[and terrifying believe he full well planned out the murder in intricate detail as well..but that is more than mind can even process at this moment]..
I definitely found that "story ending" he came up with quite disturbing.

Since you're apparently familiar with horror movies, and would have some insight
into what you might call a "normal" fascination with these things...?
I'd like to hear your take on this:

I certainly don't have any "perspective"? in this area.
Poltergeist is borderline for me :)
I watched that movie Se7en and that was so disturbing I promise you I'll not watch it again. I still can't get some of that out of my head!
And when the clown showed up in the sewer drain in IT, well...that was IT for me.

AIN'T THAT THE FREAKING TRUTH! :shocked2:

Point of clarification. Stephen McDaniel was NOT on mock trial or anything like that. He was enrolled in a class called Trial Practice that is taught in the evenings. The class would have about 20 people in it, so I doubt we are going to quickly find out who the prosecutor was, unless some nice current law student wants to log into their portal and find those coursepages and post the assignments of roles.

McD Said-
"It's an abbreviation of my old moniker: Son of Liberty"

Has anyone tried searching the using the above?

I've found some things under that name, but not SM.
And others where you just can't tell, unless he gives himself away somehow.
Considering our investigation into this one known user/site of his,
consider what the GBI is going through.... and they have his computer!

Wouldn't it be interesting to hear from the OC member now after the fact and in his knowing that this man he spent the evening doing a favor for in exchange for a meal afterward at the Outback..is alleged of now 10 felony counts against him..8 of those being sick and heinous in nature.. I wonder what his thoughts and comments have been about the night he spent with Stephen?.. Has there been anyone to find any recent convos about SoL or specifically about the opinions in hindsight??

SMD commenting on a possible dumb cashier at Walmart. Who's the dumb one now?

as well as the comment about it being stupid to steal something so insignificant. Hmmm what about those condoms McD??

Hey y'all...been reading up for quite a while now. Only just recently "registered." I just HAD to comment given all this new sick and twisted information!

I'm sure whoever she was, she's thinking  Oh-My-God

November 11, 2010.

That was the date of the mock trial that SoL participated in, that LG possibly participated in also.

Just to be clear.

Okay I know that this is directed to me. You've proved your point to show that you know more than I do on this topic. My post was more to say that we can't assume the prosecutor was LG.

I couldn't even read all of this one: http://operatorchan.org/cp/arch/res/2629.html

A very, very brutal story about murder and decapitation with a kitchen knife.

And here's a "just a hypothetical" about how to kill someone, and then act so damaged and confused afterwards, huddling in a corner crying, that he can't be convicted. After doing the disassociative state routine, he acknowledges he will probably get charged with murder, "at which point the family will need to get a lawyer to argue that I had no knowledge of my actions and were not acting of my own volition when I acted." http://www.operatorchan.org/t/arch/res/153795.html

This is a curiosity question. Would your opinion of the latest charges against SM change if it turned out that:

(a) The images were cartoon drawings?
(b) The images were cartoon drawings of members of the clergy and children with "humorous" captions? (Not that there is anything humorous in the subject, but people will attempt a joke about anything).
(c) The images weren't currently available files on the flash drive, but had been previously deleted and were discovered via forensics?
-If they had been deleted 2 months ago?
-If they had been deleted 2 years ago?

Some of the conversation here, at the link several recently have been referencing...

http://operatorchan.org/n/res/160718.html

...definitely ties in to some of your questions, southern comfort.

I wonder if he was also on 4chan. I don't really feel like looking at all the stuff on that site, especially after reading all that was said on OpChan. I'm with WonderGirl. All this is making my head and my heart hurt and I can't read anymore today.
