I am not sure I read over it and over it again and it sounded like they found a section of seatbelt cut out.. and the one in the back was missing .. I could be wrong will find it and read it again.. I am probably wrong LOL

Honestly, I think he is related to this crime. I think he is a serial killer but disorganized and his nomadic environment does attest to this to a degree. I imagine he was booted out of the siding company on Clairmont Rd. several months ago which used to be his safe haven. He reacted in a most violent way. But, I think if he had other stressers in his life along the way you would see a pattern there too.

His past behavior only indicates his future behavior. He is money motivated with a bent towards sexual proclivity. Hence, his arson crime and theft by taking. The only thing that doesn't work with a triad is his love of dogs. He is also older and may be slipping as far as hiding well. I think GBI does have the right person but if only he would say where Meredith is right now.

We want so much for there to still be hope that Meredith is alive, and there still may be a very, very remote chance that she is alive. But, it is doubtful. Killers usually dump/get rid of evidence after they kill their victims, and there is just so much that points to her being murdered.

If that was her blood on those fleeces, and it will likely be confirmed, then where is she? At the very least she was injured. It has been days, and GH is now in custody, yet Meredith has not been found alive. I have the awful feeling that he killed her soon after he abducted her as they often do.

This is just a feeling, and it is not fact. I am just going by what abductors that kill usually do. Abductors who plan to kill usually do so within 24 hours. In fact most are dead within 3 hours of abduction. The rare cases where victims are kept alive for longer than that, or even kept for years can be counted easily. We hear about them, and we keep hope in our hearts. But, I am prepared for the worst outcome here. That poor lovely young lady and her family and friends. I cannot imagine what they are going through.

I am sure she probably is not alive, but maybe I am trying to hold on to a little hope for the families.. so many people disappearing, bad things happening, we sure need a good ending to at least one story :)
 
I think GMH's dog, Dandy, combined with Ella may be able to help LE locate Meredith, it sounds nuts and a long shot, yet it worth it to see..
Also i think someone needs to observe just how Dandy and Ella interact together. Dandy might have more of a conscious than his owner and combined with Ella, help LE find Meredith's location. It seems so odd that Ella didn't try to take a nip or anything at GMH she had to have sensed a bad situation. This is such a bizarre case..

In profiles of some of the past serial killers, there are a couple that have not shown the typical symptoms of animal abuse/torture; and have seemed to have been on the opposite of that spectrum; love for animals, with no regards for humans. Carl Jablonski is one offhand case of this..
 
21 counts of solicitation and victim impact statements. And a felony for solicitation? Hilton plead guilty to the charges in a plea agreement. The original charges were probably much worse but pled down.

Ok, that's all I have. I think others out there found a bit more. I didn't provide links as they don't work. You have to go to Cobb and Dekalb county websites and search criminal and civil cases to find the info online.
 
While that search goes on, Paxton told WSB-TV Channel 2 that his investigators are looking into possible links between the Patrice Endres murder and the Emerson case.

Endres was abducted in April, 2005 from her hair salon, which Paxton said is close to where Emerson's wallet was found.

Police found Endres' body eight months later in a church yard.On Sunday Paxton had detectives and deputies checking every church yard in Forsyth County; in case there is a link and Hilton disposed of Emerson in the same fashion.

Police are also looking into similarities in the case of a missing North Carolina couple. John and Irene Bryant disappeared in October while hiking in the mountains in the Pisgah National Forest. Three weeks later, Irene Bryant's bludgeoned body was discovered. Her husband remains missing.A man wearing a yellow jacket tried to use their ATM card. Hilton was seen wearing a yellow jacket when talking to Emerson.

Good take MeoW, I hadn't even thought about her dog being able to sniff her in the wild.

I think this case is at a very crucial case at this minute because there still is a chance she could be alive. On FOX a bit ago where they told about her shirt with blood on it being found in his garbage can, they said it had turned from a recovery to a rescue mission. But I don't think that means they are not doing everything to find her ASAP unless there is something we don't know about yet. The amount of blood found could be a factor.

I hope the Sheriff's team has this guy in the box and leaning on him, just like Kojak would! Creepy man, and I am so thankful he is off the street! I am saying prayers that she will be found safe. I have read posts from so many local people. I think Meredith is very much loved by those who know her. xox

That's what my husband suggested. If not, why not tracking or corpse-sniffing dogs?
 
Do they have tracking dogs out looking? They could gather up as many as they can, divide them into different areas to cover. They have her scent, the dogs will pick right up on it.

Thanks for all that work SuzieQ. It does show me immediately he is a flagrant loser of a person.

They don't catch serial killers very often as I think the percentage of them is quite low when you consider all the people who are killed every year. If there is a possibility he is one of these guys, Pat Brown {a well studied profiler on the subject of serial killers} will most likely devote a column to Meredith's case in her site. Think I'll bop over to see if she has done that yet. xox
