I know this thread is for a UID, not B. Chamberlin but I couldn't find a thread for B. In searching for more info about her I came across a FB page managed by her daughter. Interesting post on there from April '11. Still trying to get the hang of WS and not sure how much we can post (sorry if this violates already)

Hmm good question, I know we are allowed to link to FB pages that are official "find me" type pages like what it sounds like you found. However, I am not sure if that has to be on the missing persons thread only or if it is allowed here for this UID?! MOD???

OK guys so I made a list of who we here at WS have talked about for this Doe since this thread started. I didn't review the details each missing person as I was doing this, I just wanted a reference.

** Jane Doe’s case disappeared from NAMUS in 2011 and has never been put back on. Numerous attempted emails have been sent to various people concerning this with typical responses coming back saying they will look into it, no updates and still not on NAMUS

I don't see many businesses or places where she could have time to jump on the back without the driver knowing. Unless the person knew she was there and kept going when she fell.

If she got on before that area then she held on for a while before falling.

She could have been asleep (or passed out) in the back of a pickup truck and the driver just got in the truck and drove without realizing it. The driver might have suddenly accelerated, came to a curve in the road or hit a bump and she slid off the back of the truck. A lot of pickup trucks don't have back gates.

Another possibility is that she was a passenger in the truck and felt she was in danger, so she jumped out of a moving vehicle.

She was found unconscious but alive so it's not a body dump. Has there been any indication of which direction she may have been traveling before exiting the vehicle?

I thought I first read pillow case, and later that it was a pillow. I think the mention that it was a pillow case was in the context of...a pillow in a case and that it was the "kind" of case commonly used in motels. (I'm not sure if the word kind was meant to mean brand, or just that it was generic.)

I wonder if they kept the pillow and/or case in an evidence room, and if they did, could they do DNA analysis to see if it was used by our Jane Doe?

It sounds like Lunar1121 has already been in contact with the coroner. I think they should submit...just being respectful of Lunar1121 and don't want the coroner to get hit with too many emails or phone calls.

What I've been thinking. Truckers might have pillows, they do sleep in their trucks after all. I wonder if the pillow is still in evidence somewhere. Do they keep things like that? Maybe it has the drivers DNA.

You really have to look to see it. It makes sense that she would disappear after her boyfriend turned up dead. She may have accidentally killed him and ended up not being able to go home. In that time, having few resources, she could have lost significant weight (40-50lbs) and her being bigger could attribute to the stretch marks. Any thoughts?

Patients in psych hospitals, mental health rehab centers, and schools for youth have their name written on all of their clothes because the nurses have to wash it (or watch the patients wash it). Allison Miles' clothing might have been mixed with another patient when she was in a residential institution.

I brought this up a few days ago...about patients in certain institutions having names in their clothes. I would love to see the "label" that was used. Was it written or sewn in?

Short term/immediate care centers would be more likely written, longer term or planned rehab might have used a service that creates labels to be sewn into the clothes. (Remember we are talking about early 1980's, pre-internet).

Yes, Allison's clothing could have been mixed with another patient. Or, Allison might have left the institution and left clothes behind that were later given to another patient.

There wasn't a health care privacy law in 1985. It's possible that Allison Milles could be located by searching through hundreds of institutions' records. Ugh. Other female patients institutionalized at that time could be checked…..with thousands of hours of effort since these records won't be on any computer data base. Ugh again.

I agree on a big weight loss being the cause of the stretch marks. Stretch marks don't necessarily mean pregnancy.

However, Tammy Huston had brown hair and dark eyebrows. One of the noticeable things about our Jane Doe is that she had blonde hair and really light eye brows. Even if a person with dark hair/eyebrows were living outside, the hair and eyebrows would not bleach out that much.
