Billie’s friend says that at the request of the FBI, Billie picked Leilani up from the treatment center and spent the last few free hours Leilani had with her.

Furthermore we are being told this by an anonymous family friend who seems to have a case of hero worship toward the person who carelessly entrusted the baby to the least reliable person she could find...the person who lost custody and whom she was legally evicting from her house.

The thing about detoxing, is you tend to get really, really ill before you get better. And that's just the physical detox, not the actual addiction. Three weeks is not long enough to be out the other side of all that and looking in the pink of health. MOO.

Plus, the family friend of Billie said that Billie "got wind" that LS was checking herself out, so that doesn't imply much fortitude or serious intent to overcome drugs on the part of that person now charged with malice murder of her baby. She looks sad in that pic, but no one can know if she was sad she is in jail, or sad that her mother can't run defense for her, or even sad that she can't go out drinking now.

i don't want to sound cynical (me??) But these murdered babies drain me of sympathy for those who valued them on the same level as the horrid stuff people toss out and which huge Norway Rats love to forage in.

On a side note I am personally boycotting use of the touchy feely and politically correct term "landfill". The land didn't need "filling" with contamination and filth. it is a GARBAGE DUMP she purposely chose for that beautiful baby, via a dumpster.

I feel so badly for Diane. This reminds me of baby Dylan Groves. At the trial of his parents, his foster parents attended and testified. They were devastated, and to know they would have gladly provided a better home than his parents makes it worse.
Dylan’s dad regained custody but let mom take care of him and he was killed within a couple weeks of being back in their care.
I hope Billie Jo never gets custody back of the other children.

I don't know that case, I'll look it up. It's like my head is spinning with this purposeful,imo, murder of children and babies. I was going to make an avatar featuring some of these kids, but there just isn't room. We have Watts shoving Bella and Cece through an 8" hatch into dark, toxic crude oil. This chick choosing a garbage dump, then blithely drinking rounds with her mother in a bar as others literally combed a garbage dump for her baby. And Harmony who her loving father is charged with simply murdering the girl using closed-fist blows. And little Michael Vaughn who couldn't even go out in his familiar neighborhood for 15 minutes, now they are digging and sifting backyard dirt for his remains. I was just reading about that ex NYC cop who made his 2 autistic sons sleep in an unheated garage, and who hosed the youngest one off in the driveway when the temp had been 19 deg, The poor kid finally ended in the hospital, dead with 76 deg body temp and covered with bruises. Valva is the convicted murderer's name, a true horror story of child abuse and murder.

Well, like I said, no room on an avator for all these kids.

If Billie gets those kids back, what a disgrace it will be, and danger for the kids, imo.

Take care of yourself!! These cases are the absolute worst and it's easy to lose ourselves in them.

This goes for everyone, take a mental health check and don't forget self-care. It's not selfish to look out for oneself, it makes us stronger. If we didn't have compassion then we wouldn't be human.

It's very hard for me to read and hear all these child abuse/murder cases. I've followed many cases and just when I think it can't get any worse.... it does. I could not treat a little dog like that. How much evil does one have to have to dump their own flesh and blood in a garbage dump? It's pure evil.

So Leilani was planning on quitting rehab, eh? Interesting. Addicts usually need to hit rock bottom before fully committing to living a sober life. For most addicts, that seems to be things like fractured (or non-existant) relationships with family and friends, loss of their career, being homeless, losing custody of their children, etc.

For Leilani, murdering her own child and throwing him away like literal trash is apparently not her rock bottom.

Thank goodness she's now incarcerated, and the other two remaining children are safe with others. (for now at least)

I don't know that case, I'll look it up. It's like my head is spinning with this purposeful,imo, murder of children and babies. I was going to make an avatar featuring some of these kids, but there just isn't room. We have Watts shoving Bella and Cece through an 8" hatch into dark, toxic crude oil. This chick choosing a garbage dump, then blithely drinking rounds with her mother in a bar as others literally combed a garbage dump for her baby. And Harmony who her loving father is charged with simply murdering the girl using closed-fist blows. And little Michael Vaughn who couldn't even go out in his familiar neighborhood for 15 minutes, now they are digging and sifting backyard dirt for his remains. I was just reading about that ex NYC cop who made his 2 autistic sons sleep in an unheated garage, and who hosed the youngest one off in the driveway when the temp had been 19 deg, The poor kid finally ended in the hospital, dead with 76 deg body temp and covered with bruises. Valva is the convicted murderer's name, a true horror story of child abuse and murder.

Well, like I said, no room on an avator for all these kids.

If Billie gets those kids back, what a disgrace it will be, and danger for the kids, imo.

It's really easy in CANVA, but I use a program that is harder to get good resolution for some reason. I' m on my phone right now, but tomorrow I'll search WS to see if I can dig up that discussion and instructions we had on making good resolution avatars. Unless someone else more tech savvy remembers.

Family friend details hours before Leilani Simon was arrested

Leilani Simon will spend her second night in jail Tuesday, after being arrested and charged with the murder of her 20-month-old son, Quinton Simon.

The family friend said that a few weeks ago, Leilani had actually checked herself into a treatment center and had been there ever since. The friend also said that Billie had been in communication with the FBI on a daily basis since Quinton was reported missing - and that Leilani had been as well.

However, she says Billie caught wind that Leilani was going to check herself out of the treatment center and had to make a decision.

“Her mother had to make one of the hardest decisions of her life, and call the FBI agents and let them know that she was signing herself out, and that she could not come back here, and that she was going to be a flight risk, because she could not come back here because she was going to be back on the streets doing God knows what with God knows who,” the family friend said.

Billie’s friend says that at the request of the FBI, Billie picked Leilani up from the treatment center and spent the last few free hours Leilani had with her.

“They asked her to buy some time. So, she went and picked up Leilani’s belongings from another center, and then she took Leilani to have her last free meal,” the family friend said.

She then took Leilani to the Savannah FBI office, where just a few hours later she was arrested and charged with Quinton’s murder.

The above info is pure fantasy IMO! Billie was the custodial caregiver of Quinton and the other children. Her daughter had lost custody and SHE had custody. And she left town on work and left them with her unfit daughter. I hope & pray they are both charged.

So Leilani was planning on quitting rehab, eh? Interesting. Addicts usually need to hit rock bottom before fully committing to living a sober life. For most addicts, that seems to be things like fractured (or non-existant) relationships with family and friends, loss of their career, being homeless, losing custody of their children, etc.

For Leilani, murdering her own child and throwing him away like literal trash is apparently not her rock bottom.

Thank goodness she's now incarcerated, and the other two remaining children are safe with others. (for now at least)

She won't be quitting the forced rehab she is in now.
