Thanks for posting that....I remembered it had been for sale when they were murdered, had read a discussion about the RE agent that "drowned' just weeks after the Dermonds were discovered murdered and there was talk of whether or not she may have had it listed or had witnessed something

I dont think ther's dropped due to the Dermonds but for lack of sale and maybe over priced, except that lot is like an island! but dont think much differnce in lot size and house size than the D's

why would they say he was KILLED with a sharp instrument, is that wording off? I know they can tell he was dead before beheaded but they cant know he was killed with a sharp instrument without head and no ohter wounds on body

i do remmber that other articles said "something like a hammer" may have been used on her

That is interesting! Starting off in 2012 at 2.485 and now as of 08/2017 down to $1.59 mil. I did notice they had 2 boats, one of which was kind of what I imagined was used, a flat bottom boat. But, since they were out of town, now the blue home with the pool in the backyard is interesting as far as location, and also the home across the cove. Can't really tell, but it looks like it has a red chimney? It looks like the back of that house directly faces the D's backyard. I wonder where the white pickup is located that SS mentions in the podcast. Could be a contractor and not someone who lives in Reynolds Plantation? Still curious though.

Yes, that's the one I'm interested in and the one next door that is even further up the cove. It looks like there is red brick chimney? I'm not certain they would have taken SD directly down to the D's dock. I think they used the lot with no home. The one that was purchased by the band member. A boat that could have been rowed into that area so it was very quiet.

Uhmmmm... Having trouble with the street view. Can only get on Collis Circle!!! Somehow ended up at "The Meat Shed" deer processing and skull mounts. Lost!

WHAT? So is SS changing his mind about how RD was killed? Grrrrr! I thought he believed RD was shot and the head taken because of a bullet that could be traced back to the weapon.

Oh, your link was just fine. The map is just centered in the wrong area on the road. Just keep moving the hand along the road over and over and you will eventually get to the right location. You can actually see part of the cul-de-sac which is a circle loop at the end of the road. You can be sure you are on the D house by looking for the blue covering at their dock.

There are empty lots on either side of their house. It looks like the one on the right side doesn't have access from the road but that may be a drawing error. The other four lots in the cul-de-sac are also empty.

Note that hardwood trees look more gray because the leaves are not on the trees. The green trees are more then likely pine trees.

Yeah that article was poorly written and SS words wrongly interpreted. i think thats an old article, he did not origianlly think it was a gunshot,,,,later changed his mind on that

Thanks I'll check it out......dont know what SS was looking at when he pointed out the white truck, when they were in his truck it was raining and didnt get out of the vehicle because you could hear windshield wipers were going but in the truck they could not see the cove homes from their vehicle.....I wanted to get down on the street and walk around and see what he was looking at

You might be right, I never thought they came down teh Dermonds dock, its too open and obvious...but too close quarters to the last cove home coming down that way to the water and boat on that end cul de sac lot next to D's

Thanks, that's EXACTLY what i was thinking, however you can get on the island out there on google and view the lake homes LOL..dont know how i got out there but I did haha..

And another thought, so we know google street maps isnt' the way the perps scoped out the place

1...knew them and there location by boat or land already (neighbor/family/bs associate)
2....was given the location to arrive by boat and land by someone (family/bs associate) with help from gps and googlemaps and tax records pictures etc

I dont know where everyone on here is located in or out of the U.S.A. I can't imagine the devastation in TX or even possibly LA right now, I experienced a flood many years ago but not total devastation...Just Hoping any here from TX or even LA are doing ok after Harvey's arrival. God Bless

I think we can all agree this was planned out this was not a random act. Nothing stolen so it wasn't a robbery gone bad. No suspicious activity with their money. This is what I have been focusing on for a long time. 1 They found all forms of evidence yet SS claims there's no suspect 2 Cold case team in Jacksonville( where the oldest son lives ) studying case before the case is even cold.
