U. S. Marshalls are searching for fugitive with a past for violent crimes in Georgia. Seems somewhat strange that the articles don't mention the current reason they are searching for him.

I use Publix pharmacy, and no one knows what meds I am getting except pharmacy personnel. Maybe someone overheard a conversation about SD's surgery and recuperation. An earlier poster said something about his visit to Publix set off alarms in her mind. IMO, it is still someone who lives in the area and not a complex crime...it just went very wrong.

When did she have knee surgery? I rememrber wondering if that is why she/they didnt' attend their sons murder trial, maybe that she'd had surgery then, IDK when though

Yeah I am still looking and he shows actively incarceratied, release date of 2019 !!!! He's an escapee it appears!

According to the link in my previous post he was paroled in Feb. 2014.

And kidnapping charges go back to 1994. He would have been 17. Rut ro as Scooby Do would say. With that laundry list of charges for YEARS why was he paroled?

"The U.S. Marshals office said Owens possibly stole another vehicle in Cherokee County. He was later spotted in Lamar County and was involved in another chase with authorities. The GBI is now involved in the search, which is now focused in Lamar County".

"Owens, 36, has open warrants in Fayette and Pike counties, as well as new charges in Merriweather and Cherokee counties after he used a stolen van to escape from Tuesday’s arrest attempt, according to the U.S. Marshal’s Office".

Cherokee county is only a couple miles away, but Lamar county where he was spotted last is south of atl/Griffin. LC is not too far from Putnam County as the crow flies....about 60 miles by road..

Mugshots shows his release date of 2019, currently active, maybe it's not updated and he was released early, dang, should have kept him in the pen !

Scroll down to "O", then look for Owens, Billy Lee. It says Primary Offense is Kidnapping. It says Parole Begin Date is Feb. 24, 2014. Parole End Date is July 6, 2019. Parole Office:Carrolton.
