Her only child is dead,
She's relying on her faith to get her through.
She probably has no idea what she's saying...it's pouring out of her & she's in some sort of denial. Which is normal.

Yeah. She must be in total shock. It baffles me that anyone could expect her to be at all rational. It's unrealistic and unreasonable to expect that.
Based on all the new facts, I am 100% convinced to a man that this was an accident and not an intended murder. I'm checking out of this thread, but I've enjoyed you all!
Well, I haven't agreed with you much but you've always remained polite in your posts which can be hard to do!!
I was weirded out by the "selfish world", her calling him a "leader" (of what?! Who?!) and the "I'm doing this for you".
I'm curious now in what kind of church they go to, if it's one of the uber patriarchal types.

They can't adhere too firmly to the Christian patriarchy movement because she works and wasn't a stay at home mom.
I apologize if this has already been mentioned.....
Possibly, the "second breakfast" stop at Chic could have been to make him late for work. That way, there was less chance of someone hearing the baby as he got out of the car and went inside.
Dang good thought!
"Earlier a family member had come on to the stage and asked the audience to join him in a round of applause for baby Cooper.
After the claps slowed, the man said: 'Hey Ross that sounded pretty good.'"
"To which Ross responded: 'Yes it did.'"

I am not understanding this behavior. Do I live under a rock?
What am I missing?
Very, very odd.
They are Christians.
"Jehovah's Witnesses teach that the present age of human existence is about to be terminated with the direct intervention of God, who will use Jesus Christ to fully establish his heavenly government over earth, destroying existing human governments and non-Witnesses,[6][7][8] and creating a cleansed society of true worshippers."

Yup. They are 100% Christians. They are non-trinitarians like Mormons, Christian scientists and some Pentecostals. The belief by those of certain Christian denominations that they are not Christians is more of a colloquial belief rather than academic or a theologically sound one.
