New Development On Six Month Mark of Parker's Disappearance
911 dispatcher Theresa Parker has been missing for six months today.
The Walker County, Georgia Sheriff's Department, the GBI and people who know Parker, have spent weeks searching for her.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation executed another search warrant at and around Parker's marital home.
This one comes because of the work of "Eddie," a highly trained search dog from Great Britain.
Any development brings relief to Parker's sister, Christina Hall.
"I don't forget every day. I think about it when my feet hit the floorin the morning, when I lay my head down at night, it seems like every second of the day," Hall said.
Hall wears a button picturing her sister Theresa Parker and a yellow ribbon every day.
Yellow and blue are Theresa's favorite colors.
And an English Springer Spaniel named Eddie brought a ray of hope yesterday.
He's worked more than 200 high profile homicides and missing persons cases internationally.
"Eddie" detected something at the marital home that secured agents another search warrant.
"I feel like if anybody can find Theresa, I feel like if anybody can find Theresa, I feel like Eddie can do it, I really do."
Agents searched Thursday for approximately six hours at the Parker home and garage. Their next step was to search an area two lots north of the home on Cordell Avenue.
We noticed pink markers staked at the Parker's house and on the property agents searched.
Through digging, we found out the G-B-I placed them. Some are property markers and some are quote places of interest.
Meanwhile, faded blue ribbons still fly on Cordell Avenue, underscoring the length of Theresa's disappearance.
But her sister saw a positive in the faded color, "I think also it shows they're not coming down, we're not giving up."
A banner offering a reward still flies at Theresa's mother's house.
And the 21st of every month resonates with Theresa's sister.
The last time Christina saw Theresa, March 21st, a feeling overcame her, one sisters understand.
"We always hug, we're a very loving family. But that night for some reason I felt the need, I told her I love you more than anything in the world," Hall said.
Hall says despite the many disappointments and empty leads, she and her family will not give up hope until Theresa Parker is found.
Meanwhile, search dog "Eddie" is expected to be here for several more days.
