You guys may already know but I did some research on Eddie and Mr. Grimes and he is the same dog that found the new evidence in the hotel room and in the rental car in the Madeline McCann case. He is really supposed to be the best so that is good news!

New Development On Six Month Mark of Parker's Disappearance

911 dispatcher Theresa Parker has been missing for six months today.
The Walker County, Georgia Sheriff's Department, the GBI and people who know Parker, have spent weeks searching for her.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation executed another search warrant at and around Parker's marital home.
This one comes because of the work of "Eddie," a highly trained search dog from Great Britain.
Any development brings relief to Parker's sister, Christina Hall.
"I don't forget every day. I think about it when my feet hit the floorin the morning, when I lay my head down at night, it seems like every second of the day," Hall said.
Hall wears a button picturing her sister Theresa Parker and a yellow ribbon every day.
Yellow and blue are Theresa's favorite colors.
And an English Springer Spaniel named Eddie brought a ray of hope yesterday.
He's worked more than 200 high profile homicides and missing persons cases internationally.
"Eddie" detected something at the marital home that secured agents another search warrant.
"I feel like if anybody can find Theresa, I feel like if anybody can find Theresa, I feel like Eddie can do it, I really do."

Agents searched Thursday for approximately six hours at the Parker home and garage. Their next step was to search an area two lots north of the home on Cordell Avenue.

We noticed pink markers staked at the Parker's house and on the property agents searched.
Through digging, we found out the G-B-I placed them. Some are property markers and some are quote places of interest.
Meanwhile, faded blue ribbons still fly on Cordell Avenue, underscoring the length of Theresa's disappearance.
But her sister saw a positive in the faded color, "I think also it shows they're not coming down, we're not giving up."

A banner offering a reward still flies at Theresa's mother's house.
And the 21st of every month resonates with Theresa's sister.
The last time Christina saw Theresa, March 21st, a feeling overcame her, one sisters understand.

"We always hug, we're a very loving family. But that night for some reason I felt the need, I told her I love you more than anything in the world," Hall said.

Hall says despite the many disappointments and empty leads, she and her family will not give up hope until Theresa Parker is found.
Meanwhile, search dog "Eddie" is expected to be here for several more days.

It seems Eddie is working hard and we will pray that he does come up with something to bring Theresa home. The worst thing for families is not knowing where their loved one is and why it is taking so long for them to be brought to peace. The hiding of the body is almost as bad as the crime. No person anywhere deserves that. They deserve to be recognized for their life on earth and they deserve justice for what was done to them.

I will never understand the rationale for hurting another human being and I will never understand the mind that commits these crimes. But I do understand that justice needs to be served. For the victms everywhere, we will seek justice for you. For the families, we know how hurtful it is and we will do everything possible to see that your loved one is found and that justice is served.

That is what we can do as human beings. What we can't do is be there for every crime in every place. So, we have to widen the network. The sleuths in every part of the world be mindful of the crimes in your area and report them.

TY for the updates.

We too are all praying for everyone involved...everyone.

That is a good sign. That means that LE hasn't given up hope.
Hoping and praying that Theresa is found.

I am on the fence with my opinion of search/cadaver dogs. However, if it keeps them searching around this home, etc. and keeps Teresa's name out there then by all means, this is some great news.

I have been trying to search for updates on our newspaper website, but have had no luck. Thanks for posting Channel 9's update.

Yes, he is! This dog rocks!!! Now, maybe he can be used in other cases as well. GO EDDIE!!

Thought I would give you guys some local vibe regarding the Theresa Parker Case...

Eddie the dog has spent the majority of his time in and around the Marital Residence. I dont understand how Eddie hitting on a spot in the yard 6 months after the fact could be used to find TParker.

Unless- she happens to be under the house or below the septic tank.

SP seems to be getting on with his life... I hear he is not worried in the least about Eddie the Dawg or Johnny the Law. New girlfriend- coming and going to the local Walmart... Dining out- fishing.

Frankly, I will be very surprised if TP is ever located. SP said he could dispose of a body where it would never be found. Was he speaking from experience? Hello? Orion, 1-10 ^^||^^.:.

I recently read everything I could find on the Tara Grindstead Case. I had not realized until then just how similar the two cases are. Perhaps solving one would lead to solving the other...

I gotta feeling the MO is standard issue with a strict set of checks and accurately followed protocol representing the keys to guaranteed "success".

Eddie hasn't come up with anything yet? Well it certainly sounds like ole Sam isn't letting any grass grow under his feet doesn't it! I wonder if his latest flame knows that he is a suspect in his wife's murder? Is she a local? When he said that he could get rid of a body and it would never be found I wonder if he might have said how he would do that. I know if someone told me that I would ask how...I would be curious and want to know how that would be possible.

I don't look for LE to let this case grow cold. Theresa is one of their own and when something happens to one of their own they seem pretty determined to solve the case. Sam Parker is one of their own too but I think he is the sought after now. I doubt if it is looked on to kindly when a cop is a suspect in a murder and especially the murder of one of their own. Theresa sounds like a really nice well liked woman and it sounds like Sam was kind of an azz.

BAngel-

The police chief in Lafayette has only been on the job for 6 months and was appointed when the previous chief (DRichardson) of 30 years died from cancer. SP's new flame was DRichardson's girlfriend. So, yes, she knows quite well what she's gotten herself into... all of them locals for life.

I too have wondered about the brash statement made about body disposal. The topic is not exactly taboo and if someone made such a claim to me I would certainly ask for an explanation... No doubt many have heard SP's idea, or ideas about getting rid of evidence.

Knowing what I know about SP, he would have gladly offered his theory to anyone curious enough to pose a follow-up question to his claim. But, he would have used the opportunity to set up a goose chase- no way in hell he would have given away "the plan". Not to a stranger, not to his most trusted friend. SP is smarter than he looks.

Frankly, I am amazed at the large circle of friends and supporters SP has managed to keep with him. There were a few that kept their distance in the early going, but for the most part, those that were close to him before March 21, 2007 are still with him today. They are not timid either. They defend him tooth and nail, doing so with an unusually determined conviction.

Another thing I find interesting is how tight lipped LE has kept their information. Im not at data central by any means, but I hear my share of town talk. There are easily 100 or more persons who know the entire story but its almost as if a slip of the tongue would guarantee a swift and lethal blow to the slipper. Not even a clue is offered.

Aside from the Governor, there is one person directing the show of investigation. That person calls the shots and is not questioned or disputed. That person rarely makes public appearance but his presence is always felt and his management skills are extremely efficient.

Somehow a compromise will be made so that all are satisfied with the results. There is no definite deadline for closing the deal but eventually it will end... just as the guard eventually must change.

According to OTOH, she most definately knows about him being a suspect.

OTOH, are you in town ? Do you remember the post about the "friend" of Sam's in Alabama ? I am thinking that she was a nurse. She had a one car accident on GA20/Alabama Hwy, and was killed a while back. That still has not set well me. Do you have anything on this ?

Edwards - I'm in the town next to Lafayette and knew his friend from Alabama very well. She was a nurse and was killed in Rome, Georgia but it wasn't a 1-car accident. She hit a big delivery truck. From all indications, she fell asleep on her way to work that morning.

Edwards20-

I am in Walker County Ga. but not within Laf City limits. Concerning the woman you mentioned: When the fatal traffic accident occurred, GAGAL and I discussed it among some of the others from around here. GAGAL was a little closer to the inside scoop on that and if I recall, felt the incident was unrelated to SP. (correct me if needed GAGAL) However, I still think there is a connection. I think SP divulged serious information during the one period he showed weakness in this whole thing and I think he is somehow related to the "accident". In fact, I think this case goes way beyond what is seen on the surface. It is being carefully handled, orchestrated, manipulated and spun from the top. We will never know how interconnected and twisted this case is to a long history of unsolved events that have and will continue to remain mysteries...

otoh

OTOH & Edwards - I do feel most likely that the accident was unrelated but I'm the type of person who doesn't ever rule anything out. The only way he could have been responsible for that was if he had given her something to make her fall asleep before she left for work (i.e., in her breakfast or drink, etc), which isn't totally impossible since he had been staying with her some and I guess that could have been one of the nights he was there......I just didn't see any evidence of it. I would assume that the authorities did a toxicology report with the autopsy plus I just don't think he would risk something like that when he was already being looked at for Theresa's disappearance. I know she completely believed he was innocent although OTOH could be right and he had said some things or let her find out some things in the days before she died that could have made her wonder or even know the truth at that time - I just haven't seen evidence of that although as far as the location of Theresa, something does keep nagging at me that she could be in that area of Lake Weiss and Alabama.......

GAGAL-

Did you ever see a newspaper story on the accident? I looked for one and
never could find anything. You gotta think just how valuable her witness would be today. Imagine the conversations those two must have had. What kind of story did SP weave? I'll bet it was a dandy. He would have likely
broken down at some point and slipped. Being a lifelong friend she could have
read him like a cheap western novel. I would like to see the accident report. Would it be available to the public? Something still bothers me about that one. Id like to see him try messing with Ms. New Girlfriend! She would knock
the everloving stew out of him. Her likes a good scrap.

otoH

Thanks. I work for the paper, and I kept thinking I had read it was a single car accident .... I often wonder if it was/is related. (I will see if I can find a story.) I guess it just keeps leading me back thinking of Weiss Lake. I just have this gut feeling.

I found the articles. I must have been thinking of another accident involving a single car.

OTOH, per your request, I am posting the links. Gagal, I have omitted copying and pasting the articles and picture (from the scene).

So, this happened at 8:30AM, which would be 7:30AM for her. It probably takes 45 minutes - 1 hour (rough guess) to come from Centre to Rome. So, she might have left her home between 6:00AM - 7:00AM (7:00AM - 8:00AM GA time).

This was also on a Tuesday morning. Wonder if she stayed up late on a Monday night ? Just bouncing around ideas and random thoughts ...... on what would have caused her to fall asleep.

When I though it was a single car accident, I was more inclined to think it might be related to SP. However, the article leads you to believe that she failed to negotiate the curve, which could most certainly be a tragic accident. Ironic, perhaps .......

Sorry guys - I'm just now getting back to the board to read what was wrote. I think what she would have to say about their conversations in the weeks after Theresa went missing would be very interesting too OTOH. I've thought about that myself; I know he had her believing that he had never abused Theresa - he had given her excuses about the previous incidents and 911 calls and you know when it's someone you've known 4-ever and believe in, it's hard to think they would be capable of such things.

As far as staying up late the night before, I'm not sure about that Edwards but very possibly. She was working 2 jobs, driving from Centre to Rome to work, and driving to Summerville from Alabama a lot because that is where her mother was in the nursing home so I know she was probably wore out on a regular basis. As far as the accident report, I haven't seen it but I know someone who did. I also know the driver that she hit said he saw her slumped over the wheel before she hit him and the witnesses said she never even hit her brakes, basically went around a curve and never turned the curve, just kept going straight. I do know that if they didn't test for certain things in her blood that they couldn't now because she was cremated.....
