He's probably feeling fine. No sign of his wife and it's good fishing weather. Plus, he doesn't have to go to work.

:snooty:

He's probably made an amazing recovery. As long as no one finds Theresa and he keeps his mouth closed, he may never have to worry again.

So true...lots of time to fish and be alone with his thoughts. Someone ought to offer him a beer or six. Maybe he'll talk!

What about his buddy who got bailed out... where is he?

Susan

Angelmom - you said it so well - and yes, SP feels all is right with the world. But I wonder if this game of his will eventually wear a bit thin. When the pressure was on SP in regards to them searching his father's house, cars, etc. didn't he disappear into a mental institution? Then they searched his locker, found his plastic explosives and he was fired, so he threatens to possibly kill himself and lands back in the mental institution. As soon as something close to evidence is discovered by LE, he runs back to his sanctuary. I'll bet that if a supoena(sp) or a warrant is issued for him, he'll run and scale the walls of the local mental hospital once again.

Thanks for that link.
Although WE want to know...they're doing the best for the case in the long run. IMO

Oh how I hope someone finds her soon.

This is very typical in GBI investigations in Georgia. I have spent a very frustrating 17 months looking for Tara Grinstead and her murderer. It almost will take a body in both instances. The only case in Georgia where the perp was convicted without a body was Butch Hinton for the murder of Shannon Melendi. In that case, a jailhouse confession was part of the testimony.

I know GBI likes a solid conviction ratio but it is terrible for the victim's families. Leslie Adams has been missing as long as Tara. I hope we don't have Teresa missing as long.

So very frustrating, isn't it? I do hope they're staying in touch with Theresa's family and at least telling them what they can without compromising the intelligence they might be receiving.

Hoping and praying that Theresa is found soon.
Reading the above article sure makes it sound like a case is being built against Steve. I wonder if he's considered a flight risk?

If he ran, it would at least be another indication of guilt. (Sort of like O.J.) If he did take off, I'll bet he'd be pretty easy to find. Just look for a good fishing spot. Theresa's family hasn't been too vocal lately so I'm assuming they are being kept informed as much as possible. Such a sad case that things had to come down to this. :(

Why isn't SP in jail?

If you or I were found with C4 explosives and blasting caps, the Feds would have us wrapped up in chains!

:furious:

I have a really strange feeling about this case. I have been a resident in LaFayette Ga for the last 25 years which is half of my life. I know many of the personalities involved in this case, some of them "very well" and others on a casual basis.
More importantly, I consider myself to be very good at interpreting two critical elements of verbal communication for this georgraphical location...
1. The local body language 2. The local innuendo
If every little village on the globe used the same language of sounds for words, there would still be subtle distinctions, facial movements, tonal infliction and local nuance that if deciphered, would communicate more that the words alone.
I pay attention to such details and have learned to trust my instincts on such matters. Hence, an intangible factor leading to my thoughts on the Parker case... The obvious and popular consensus around here is to blame Sam for the disappearance of Theresa and be done with it. I am not so sure. I had a theory from day one and there was only one individual I considered capable of or motivated to set Mr. Sam into the ultimate trap. At the one month anniversary of Theresa's disappearance, that individual surfaced. That person began posting on another board and although trying to remain annonymous, I knew exactly who it was. The comments I read sent chills through my bones. I am still letting it all sink in... I have found that the rushed judgment can come back to haunt you and this individual is not going away, so I am keeping my thoughts close until I am led to do otherwise. Anyone is capable of anything at the right time... expect the unexpected.

we shall see.

Hi, that's interesting.

She went missing on Wednesday, March 21st, correct? So, tomorrow is the one month anniversary. How long has this other person been posting, and can you share which board?

Thanks!

I did say “one month anniversary” and that was not accurate. The exact time frame is not really important, in the context of my ideas anyway. What is important, to me, was that this person could not sit still for long. He showed up for one or two days with 8 posts. I had sort of pushed the idea to the back burner, knowing that if this person had his hand in things he would not be able to stay quiet.

So, it was more like 3 weeks as I saw him post earlier this week. Maybe Monday or Tuesday.
He responded to a couple of rumor type stories that were going around town. He almost blew it when someone challenged his authority and source of info. He lashed out and then quickly regained control before tipping his hand.
This guy is above the law and if you don’t believe it, just watch him. King of the macho men and way too smooth with the ladies. Unfortunately for him, those ladies talk about his wacho/macho antics , actually, I think he must get some satisfaction from such a reputation. Control and dominance is his drug. In his post, it was made perfectly clear that he would not rest until Sam Parker was finally behind bars. He called for Sam to confess and end the suffering of TP’s family. He really hates Sam- goes way back. This person would, without any trouble, have access, knowledge, whatever—to Sam’s personal whereabouts etc. Easy.

Now, I have nothing but my gut feeling here. And, I sure as heck don’t want to call this clown out. He could make life hell for me and mine if he wanted to. But, I have learned to trust my instincts. I don’t worry about justice being served as I have the utmost confidence in the Sheriff, Mr. Steve Wilson. If I am accurate in what I feel, Mr. Wilson will not be fooled. Sheriff Wilson is sharp. If he played poker, he would be World Champion. One way or the other, he will get to the bottom of this case. No favorites from him. Straight up. Solid. TRUTH.

I only bring this up for some of you, not close to the pulse, the vibration, the smell of things, who find this entire charade to be strange. Around here its “Sam did it or nothing”. Shallow minds. So, if you think something is weird, don’t dismiss your thoughts as a possibility.

For you real sleuths, check out an attorney from Summerville, GA. Born and raised a stones throw from the Parkers. Considered to be one of the most brilliant, successful defense attorneys in the country… LE knows that their case cannot be anything less than submarine tight…

Throw out a google for a Mr. Bobby Lee Cook. Wow.

I checked out the deceased Bobby Lee Cook of Summerville. Please excuse me but how does this relate?

Need to edit: Apparently it was his law partner that commited suicide and I misread it. This Cook fellow is my dad's age and I wonder how viable he could be in this missing person case. You never know though. Sorry for the error about Mr. Cook's death...

I'm also wondering what Bobby Lee Cook would have to do with this case. Please fill us in. I went and look at the Walker County Messenger Board and the poster you are talking about seems to be georgia78. What makes you think that would be Mr. Cook? Share your details..........

A month has passed since 911 dispatcher Theresa Parker was last heard from, and now her family is setting up a fund to help keep the case from going cold.

Hilda and Jonathan Wilson, Theresa’s sister and brother-in-law, set up an account Friday at The Bank of LaFayette to receive donations.

Jonathan said the money will be used to increase the reward offer and to help pay for private efforts to locate Theresa, such as billboards and posters.
“We’ve personally matched the $1,000 reward that the governor authorized, and may add more,” Jonathan said.
