Gas Cans discovered by George Key date - June 24, 2008 ***REVISITED ***

I can't believe the incongruity of GA reporting the theft of the gas cans (and KC--because I believe he knew she took them) to police while not having reported other things KC had done in the past never occurred to me until reading this thread....DUH!

One question, tho: I've seen mention on a few posts about LE having been called out to the A home several times in the past. Do we have links/details to this info? I'm curious as to who made those calls and why.

I think KC said that she had had the pontiac for three yrs, so it would have been 'her' car at the time. But not sure if thats the car that was suposedly stolen per the report.

Both GA and CA have referred to the pontiac as CA's car even though KC drove it. It's been so long now, but didn't CA report "her" car missing, meaning hte Pontiac, when KC and Caylee were "missing"? My guess is KC didn't come home one night when CA was watching Caylee so she reported the car stolen! Wouldn't surprise me one bit! That would get LE to drag KC home wherever she was...we know the A's love to keep LE at their beck-n-call (e.g., calls to 911 over protestors)........

My guess would be that CA would remind KC often that the Pontiac was in her and GA's name. Kinda like I will let you borrow my car , but you have to abide by my rules , or I can easily take it it away. ( control issue at it's best.) Reminds me of that famous quote "what is given , can be taken away".

It does look like the 2005 time frame was volatile for the A's. Caylee was born in August of 2005 and George split about four months later...December 2005 ? But, according to Cindy and George (FBI Interview) there was no problem with Casey being pregnant...RIGHT ! That's a decent amount of calls to police if you ask me. I would love to know the specifics...

With all due respect Patty G., I do not believe that for one minute. With CA being a nurse and having had two kids herself (three if you believe that old rumor about her having an older son), she knew KC was pregnant after a few months. A small person living in a smallish house would not be able to hide that from her own mother unless she was blind.

Keeping in mind I'm speculating cuz we don't really know the story of the stolen car, if it was KC who took the car (and maybe left Caylee behind?), and the A's called LE as a result, it sounds similar to the gas can incident. They knew darn well who stole the darn thing - just not how to deal directly with the thief. They have every right not to give stuff to their grown children but, for some reason, KC did not get that and did as she pleased anyway. She did not respect her parents wishes even when it came to their stuff. She acted as if they owed her even though she was grown and had begun to make her own choices (like having a baby - unless KC was pressured into the decision to have and to keep the baby). We don't really know the truth.

But what stands out is that they called LE over missing stuff but NOT when they suspected their granddaughter was missing. I know they say she was not missing in their minds but that's not true as evidenced by CA's writing on My Space and sending Lee out and trying to meet up at Universal, etc. They knew something was up long before July 15. Either that or they are the most gullible people on earth. GA has stated on several occasions that he is not stupid. If we take him at his word, he should have known something was seriously wrong.

If the Anthony's had claimed a stolen vehicle in 2006 to control Casey, then why wouldn't they have done that again in 2008 since they were worried about Caylee? This makes the 2006 incident all the more curious.

Hey Patty. I am inclined to think that they did know Casey was pregnant but they said they did not to "save face". How could an RN living in the house with her own child NOT know she was THAT pregnant? Cindy knew but lied and claimed she did not. Nothing illegal about that, huh?

I'd love to know who placed all of the 911 calls back in '05. Did they originate from within the home or is this a neighbor(s) tired of all the comotion?
How many people argue like this over and over? Not that there weren't points in my life where the police were called because of loud parties (guilty!) But come on people! It's a respect issue I guess. No respect for the neighbors, LE, family members or themselves. LE was a minor pest to them at times and a tool at others.
I don't believe anything KC has said. I don't believe anything CA has said. I don't believe anything GA has said. Therefore the gas can story is full of holes! (Not that I want to stop poking more)
