Red top or not, The Daily Star report contains more detail and puts it all together well. Often the tabloids do investigative work with a persistence other newspapers don't exert. According to this article, Rebelo will change his mind & put the McCanns through more questioning after all--in the Star's considered opinion. With such a stack of evidence test results, he will have to proceed against them by interrogation at the very least. There is always a serious caveat when no source is named. We are told here Rebelo has the results in hand so leaks in Portugal are my guess.

also: the father of Madeleine McCann has sent 14 text messages (sms) from his cell phone, a few minutes before the alarm about his missig daughter was given

So in the "few minutes" he had Gerry managed to ring Sky and send 14 text messages.

I am a text message expert and I would be flat out sending 14 messages in a "few minutes", unless the messages said like one word and even then I'd be pushing it.

I doubt very much there is any truth to this.

Those members of the PDL party must be impatient for the imminent interrogation by English police because they have been subject to close surveillance for many weeks. I would guess they would like to get it done. That might be a false expectation, however, as any or all of them may implicate themselves. I'm sure they think back to September 7th.

Wow! this is news particularly as the article below states:
"However, after talks with Leicestershire Police on Friday, Madeleine's parents have privately expressed their confidence that they will not now be charged"

McCanns demand Portuguese police interview 25 key witnesses

One of the McCann's lawyers, Caplan, has formally requested the PJ bring in 25 witnesses for interviews. The Ocean Club staff are on the list. The only individual I have seen named is Catriona Baker, who was assigned to Madeleine and who saw a strange man lurking at the apartment on 3 May. Of course, she was interviewed for three hours at the time.

Thanks for pics Colomom. I wonder how many attended the service & did they really need the large church?
Really puzzles me the Anglican Church, Catholics put great store on the Mass, devout catholics would have attended a Mass not a service in another Church. I saw an article about a service tonight in PDL again it was the Anglican Minister who conducted it not the catholic priest, most peculiar!

Well, there it is then. Thank you for the news. The Tapas party under the bare light bulb but even before new questioning, suspects! This could be due to the logic of the case or as a result of the surveillance on them in England. Likely both.

Wow! What a development! I am not in the least surprised that these four are going to be suspects if we can believe the media of course!

No doubt they are suspects in the coverup, and perhaps even in the disposal of the body.

Why did they all think they were going to get away with it? Because they happen to be doctors?

Thanks Colomon but I am wondering where the papers got this from.

According to the Mirror Boards it is getting weirder now the Mafia searching. So if this is true they let the drug trafficking continue so how many more people are going to die now due to this case?

Reference to a bag now found with residues in the above article!

Those posts at the Mirror Forum about Mafia assistance in this search strike me as gullible fantasy, 2 parts; comic book mentality, 4 parts; wishful thinking, 3 parts. The item that pricked my curiosity was the bag with DNA on it. That sounds possible.

".............The restrained nature of last night's service signalled a shift away from the high-profile approach previously favoured by the McCanns and their media advisers. Plans for a global "Madeleine Day", featuring the likes of Elton John, JK Rowling and the former American president Bill Clinton, appear to have been quietly shelved, along with plans for further public appearances by the couple"

Dear God!!!!!

Maddie DNA clue in airport bag

Would anyone be missing a pair of Jeans???

Did anyone change their pants???

Funny how this DNA test only took 2 weeks and the FSS has been testing for what....3 months?!?!

"The DNA isn't an exact match to Maddie's, but it does link."

What does that mean????
