I remember seeing a video on youtube somewhere ( I think it was a police interview) where RC claims that GA choked ICA and pushed her into a wall. I believe that RC stated that GA THOUGHT it was an accident that "snowballed out of control". She didn't actually state that GA KNEW what happened. I'll try and find a link....
In regards to the accusations that GA was/is as pediphile, and was keeping this secret about what really happened to CAYLEE.. I think it may be difficult for the jury to believe this after seeing the jail vids. If you watch the jail video of when GA came to visit ICA on his own, along with the fact that in her letters to her jailmate friend, she mentions that it was Lee, and now all of a sudden it changes to her father... it speaks volumes (to me anyways).
Since Im pretty much a newb.. can anyone direct me to any information that confirms that this affair with RC did in fact happen? I don't know much about what went of with this "affair thing".

Here is a link where you can listen to her statement. I never heard her admit to an affair nor has ga as far as I can recall.I dont beleive any of ica's claims about abuse. I doubt we will ever hear any proof of it either moo.

Also in those Jail Videos KC tells GA that he was the best Father and Grandfather and on and on.....I really don't see how the molestation allegations are gonna fly after the Jury see's those tapes. I think they will see right thru Jose's opening statements and convict KC.

So it occurred to me today as I was obsessing over this case again....JB must think there's a bombshell going to drop when CH/RC testifies about George's comment that it was an accident. From what I've heard George denies the affair.

Here's the interesting thing though....if the jury ends up taking CH/RC as a credible witness, and believes GA had an affair with her, might that also harm JB's assertion that GA is a pedophile? There has been previous testimony that people stated they had heard that GA had had other affairs prior. JB may go there too. But doesn't it kind of lend support to the idea that GA is attracted to adult women?

I never read that. I read that RC just stated that GA stated there was a bad accident. RC never mentioned GA saying what kind of accident there was though and if he was involved in it or not.

I doubt if the jurors would care much if GA did have affairs. Its possible he liked girls and women but I don't think most people will believe GA was a child molester. There's no credible witness to prove that.

While I don't believe for a second that GA abused KC I have heard of pedophiles that were in relationships with women, too. Not all pedophiles are only attracted to children. At least that is my opinion.

Yes, true. However, from a juror's perspective, JB is making that a major lynchpin of his defense....this is why she lies and why she covered up an accident where the rational person would not. So the jury is going to have to assess for themselves whether or not they believe that about GA. I'm saying it seems to me that there was at least an attraction to this woman who he spent a lot of time with behind his wife's back and referred to as a 10. If anything to me as a juror this points away from that allegation and not towards it.

However, he failed to mention the incident where he threw her against the wall and choked her and accused her of being responsible for what happened. Wondering if the jury will remember that he left that out and hold it against him. Especially since from what I understand in her statement that incident occurred later. IMHO it would be much stronger for DT if he had first thought she did it and later found out it was an accident then the other way around.

No, because she hasn't taken the stand yet. You can bet the state won't let that get left out. I guess to me it seems like it was a big risk for JB to include her in his opening and make such a big deal of her when in certain aspects she could help the state as much as the DT.

I just read her statement for the first time and I find myself totally believing her...she sounds very credible to me, not adding details, not changing details. I am not sure what her statement does to either side, except that it might make the jury think that some sort of accident happened, even if not in the pool and not with George...but it is really hard to know. But I do believe her.
Do we know if she ever found the letters she said he had written her?

Hi Allycat! I just read the entire depo of KH/RC and I've tried to look at it from a juror's prospective. First I must say that, if KH/RC can be believed, George is a bigger sleezeball than I thought. And I am bordering on believing KH/RC is one of those people that has a need to interject themselves into a case such as this. But, I think that George throwing Casey against a wall and choking her to try to get her to fess up shows that George had nothing to do with covering up Caylee's death, which becomes a problem for Jose Baez (and Casey).

Having said that, I think it's risky for either team to try to paint this woman as credible. She flat out lied in her depo re: her own past. At the beginning she says she's done things she's "not proud of but nothing illegal. Then towards the end she says she lied and stole to feed her kids. She also uses the RC alias so people can't trace her past and even insinuates to some people she is an illegal alien for some convoluted reason. She also says she cheated on her husband and on a boyfriend that paid $20,000 to fix her teeth. She also says she lies to people that her money came from a settlement from a peanut butter company.

The part of the depo that I did enjoy reading, however, is where she informs LE that George told her he was able to communicate with Casey in jail by writing letters to Casey and that Casey's lawyer would sneak them into the jail to Casey. (LE zeroed in on that statement big-time, also telling her that was a big "no-no"!) I'm so hoping that lawyer is Jose Baez!!!:woohoo:

He then flourished it to the SAs with his "aha" smirk, as he pointed to a specific line or word. . LDB was smiling when she replied to him and the idiot simply went back to the podium and replaced his page....no more questions. He was so obviously thwarted.
