I think this is an extremely important trial and will be referred too in future trials. What happens here can make a big difference in the lives of folks down the line. IMO

I think the judge was forcing him to answer early to help the prosecution know what to plan for. JMO. But I think she's been a terrible judge through the whole thing because she's just not good at her job. IMO MOO

I haven't heard a thing that has been said after the judge's outburst. You can tell that even M'OM is being quiet in his questioning. JMO :(

He's absolutely walking on eggshells. It must be hard to complete the very end of this trial not knowing when she's going to lose her temper again.

And certainly, the prosecution has jumped into that void and is objecting to everything.

IMHO

My opinion is that TM called GZ names because he was scared,

I know I would be scared if in the dark, a stranger in a vehicle was slowly following me, got out, followed me on foot...etc...

Maybe TM would not have been afraid, but I'm thinking human nature.

But that would just be your opinion. And can not lead to fact.

I don't think that TM was at all afraid. He is out walking a long distance in the dark all alone in the rain. That is not the actions of a scared kind of kid. I would never do that at night. But to me all his actions show that he was not afraid. And when told by RJ to run home, He blew her off, And said.. Nah.. or no..

I know how you feel, this is a difficult and emotional case.

Yes, wasn't that something last night? Mid-sentence and she turns her back on him and walks out the door. Her clear bias makes me really uncomfortable. IMO

The judge got ticked off when West said it wasn't their fault, the defense gave them the evidence late, played games, then lied to the court. She was ticked off. Abruptly recessed court at 9:56. West kept talking, she kept saying recessed. He kept talking even as she was leaving the bench, and MOM was waving West off, like, "shut up man, just shut up!" It was shocking to see. MOO

Okay, doesn't this discussion between M'OM and the witness regarding "hate, spite, anger, verbal abuse, confrontation" make anyone else uncomfortable given what just happened? JMO

No. He does not have to decide until their case is completed. Asking him when he will be ready is not appropriate. He can not answer until he knows how his case looks in the entirety.

Exactly. He doesn't have to answer now, or even ever. His attorneys can answer for him. I'm really surprised she usurped that and questioned him directly, even saying when MIGHT you know?

GZ looked like a deer in the headlights.

IMHO

Yes, that is why I prefaced with "iMO"

I totally respect yours.

I remember Judge Perry being very kind, considerate and gentle when he asked KC whether she was going to testify.

This Judge is more annoying than Nurmi and Willmott put together. The Defendant being rushed into a decision on whether to testify or not....not good.

Imo.

If a hundred pounds of weight were on top of me....and I crawled out from underneath....the position of the body that was on top would not change....unless, I purposely (and had the strength to) move his body over. If I was just trying to escape...logic tells me the body would stay orientated the same.

Okay that makes sense if TM fell forward- except it was 160 lbs - and if he fell on GZ, surely some of TM's blood from a mortal wound would be on GZ wouldn't it? But it he fell back or over to the side? His body was lying flat wasn't it? Not twisted? And how would his arms be neatly underneath himself. And when did GZ stretch his arms out straight?

In turn, defensive supporters are taking great lengths to use a states witness that they don't even believe to say that "BY" means he ran to his house, then ran back out, jumped and tried to beat GZ to a pulp and no blood, DNA or scuff marks on him to show it after running away from him all night...ok..

Defense supporters don't need to keep reinventing theories and reinterpreting the evidence, because pretty much everything corroborates GZ's story. Even, and oftentimes especially, the state's own witnesses.

I recall when this case first hit the news that state supporters insisted the forensics would show that TM was shot in the back while running away. But that's not what happened. Just as with every piece of forensics, nothing refutes GZ's story. Absolutely nothing. JMO. OMO. MOO.

TY for posting this tweet!

I haven't trial watched anywhere nearly as long as Kathi Belich, but I completely agree with her on this.

In my opinion, and I'm not sure if this is the correct terminology, the judge should be sanctioned. It seems even questionable that she's fit for the bench, given what I've seen throughout the trial. Omo. :moo:

Wonder what her history is like...

A person can ask a question of another without walking up to the person or being confrontational.
It seems to me that it would be likely that once coming face to face to a person that had been watching and following you that you might ask why.

IMO

But RJ says that TM said exactly what GZ said he said.
And then punched GZ in the face.

So when I add his testimony to hers, It fits exactly with what he said. It is a complete overlap.

And support GZ account/.

Does anyone know or understand why the judge would have asked GZ that question at this point in time? When would the defendant normally be asked if he was going to testify?

Here we go again. The state doesn't want the jury to look at the whole story, just what makes GZ look bad. I hope that the jury looks at all of the evidence. MOO.
