I am not yet convinced that Burke is the actual killer. But I am very open to the possibility.

I am not surprised at all about him going to the sex parties and all that mess though. It makes perfect sense why the investigation was at such a slow crawl all of these years.

That's crazy! I can't believe I've never heard of this guy. Wow! From the story, it sounds like he lived in New Haven so, there goes my little idea. Still, it's interesting. Was he worried about what else might come up? Is there any connection to the case that I've missed besides the obvious? I mean, has anyone sleuthed out a connection to any of our victims? Seems to me that he'd be to busy at work and home to have time to kill street prostitutes or escorts but who knows.

Thanks for the info!

Would be interesring to know if there was a systemic case of litigation against suffolk county in relation to the above case.....M mmm.... pretty sure there is....someone....or alot of someones making money out of the....... I've got a bridge to sell scam...IMO.

Ha....already know the answer.......its like a doh!! moment.....

Oh, I totally agree. Imho, SCPD was paying off these suits to prevent further investigation. Notably, the suits seem to have been settled out of court in 2011. That is, after the remains were found. To me, this had more to do with preventing further investigation into departmental corruption... the sort that finally came to a head a year ago.

Does anybody else remember noticing that Leann wasn't very confident of the name Fiengold when asked who's house she was at? IIRC she hesitated a bit pronouncing his name. Could she have been mistaken, could it be Feinberg she meant? I'm only curious because there is a Gary A. Feinberg, who worked for Suffolk county, named in several sexual assault lawsuits filed by different woman. I could be way off on this one but how do we find out if this guy GAF owned a house in Oak Beach? Just a thought. I'll try to watch the press conference again to be sure of what I remember.
GAF, the one who jumped in front of a train?
Not sure. Interesting. Do you have a link for that story?

Thanks for the link and raising the possibility that Leanne misremembered the name. The big however. Her alleged encounter occurred in April & August of 2011. Whereas Feinberg committed suicide in 2006.

That said, and what is interesting from the same said article, is that Ramos was GAF's main accuser. I had mentioned her lawsuit upthread. With that in mind, I do wonder if Ms. Rickenbacker's suit also involved Feinberg, since she is mentioned in Ms. Ramos' suit.

[snip]

Hackett was the medical examiner and Burke was the – not sure what he was – when TWA Flight 800 crashed in 1996. Naturally that makes them culpable in each other’s personal affairs for the past 20 years.

It’s been 1,825 days since Ray began his case against Hackett. He’s lost traction and is now forced to cull from all corners. Evidence schmevidence.

I don't know if he is the SK, but I do think he may be involved in atleast 1 murder or actually committed the murder. For him to stall the murder investigation this long, to me, means he was involved in SG death. JMO

I don't know how many are following, but I doubt many of us are surprised
We've heard or read, hints of this for years. It was only a matter of time before the truth came out. Now the question is whether or not it has to do with any of the deaths. It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility as far as I'm concerned, but I need more evidence before I can jump on that band wagon.

As much as I detest Burke, I'm agreeing with Bessie on this.

I think that whether or not she is credible is of less concern to John Ray than getting the opportunity to go public with his theory. If she is what he needed in order to safely point fingers, then that would be an example of the "dramatics" he's been called out for. She may not be credible! Who knows? But John Ray knows what he's doing. And he has been able to consistently keep this case in the media, which I give him credit for...even if (IF) he is somewhat Machiavellian in his strategies.

Which is exactly why you don't see more people pulling this kind of stunt. It’s called having professional and ethical standards.

Ray did not "safely point fingers" -- he outright accused Burke of killing. Without a speck of evidence. Since when is it OK to make accusations against someone with absolutely no proof? Since when is it OK to “keep something alive” in the media by whatever means necessary? Here's the answer from someone who is professionally trained in media relations and was a F500 PR practitioner for years: It is not OK.

Secure your undisputed evidence, file your court motions, THEN call your press conference.

This is my first post and may be a stupid question but Leanne being the CI made the "tip" on who? Does any one have a name of that person who she was told by the detective that that person was mentioned 2x's already. Thanks. Glad to be here

And, do we know if Feinberg ever owned a home in OB?

Feingold owned property in Oak Beach but, IIRC he died Jan 2011, did someone with the Feingold name continue to live in the property after his death? Did Stricoff (who purchased it) occupy the home at the time of the party/parties Leanne attended??

You also forgot to mention that baseless unfounded allegations ,take away from the legitimate investigation and undermine the efforts to locate the actual killer. But I'm glad I'm not alone in my sentiments.

Welcome Strak! Sorry I'm not sure, but I know someone here does. They just may not be able to say with the TOS.

It does not look like Feinberg owned property in Oak Beach.

SCPD would not have made the decision to pay or fight the lawsuits, that decision would have been made by Comptrollers office for Suffolk County. They would have assessed the case and made a determination that it was less costly to just settle than to go to trial. This in and of itself is not suspicious as very often municipalities settle in cases where they do no wrong, simply because it costs less to settle, than fight a case at trial.

L also said the subject lived full time in Oak Beach and that he was questioned twice in connection with a homicide. Welcome "Strak", not a stupid question at all. I like to know the answer too.

All he is doing is adding weight to substantiate his motion to subpoena Dr Hackett and to be able to continue his civil lawsuit. Dr Hackett has put in the motion to dismiss the case.
Otherwise I am sure he would have waited to come forward with his witness. I agree it was premature and uncalled for to accuse JB. Not sure if the judge is going to bite it.

Let's hope this starts a wave of girls coming forward with more information exposing everyone, to solve these murders.

So I'm up and not sure where this post should go, I was however watching the news conference earlier today about the "Leanne" escort, and I couldn't help but notice when she was talking about the encounter with me. Burke he said and I quote that she was a "bad *advertiser censored*"!. Sorry to keep the families going thru this but is there a possible way that the Feds or someone investigating this can record his voice and make him say that phrase? I ask because this could also be a bombshell! The *advertiser censored* phrase sticks out to me more than ever. And also if this allegation is true it would lead to having circumstantial evidence to him calling the families and friends of the victims. If they could just see if the sisters or friends and mothers can recall the voice then bomb! I don't know how the law stuff goes but just a thought and my humble opinion! I still say a cop or cops had something to do with these girls! Ugh

A woman was called a liar when she came forward. Would LE call her a liar if she gave them a name they were unfamiliar with? I dont think so.
