I know right? I used to follow these threads religiously, the LISK case being a major reason for why I finally registered with WS back in 2012. Fast forward to 2016 and take a break from these threads. Now I'mtrying to catch myself up to speed with all that I've missed. Maybe it's just me but I don't even know what to make of half of these posts anymore, no offence to anyone in particular. I'm even more confused than I was before. Grrr Ugh.

James Burke and Peter Hackett knows each other since the 90s. Hackett was the last person to see Shannan gilbert alive. Burke frequents prostitution in the Oak Beach area where the bodies of missing and murdered prostitutes were found. Burke tried to stall investigation into LISK. Burke loves to degrade women with the word '*advertiser censored*' which is the word also used by LISK in the calls made to victims friends and family. Very suspect indeed.

That caught my attention too about burke. Leeann said he used the word where and he said that about melissa to her little sister Amanda- Sent chills through my soul. If you go back to some of the old articles about lisk, there are some who say the killer has law enforcement knowledge.

I've always thought Peter Hackett was responsible mainly because of his phone call to SG family and denying he called since LISK has been known to call victims families. IIRC LISK called one victims sister insinuating she was still alive until his next call to her family.
Did he keep any other victims alive?
Is SG a victim of LISK or she just was found at the dumping site?
Could Hackett and Burke be LISK together?
If so wouldn't Burke keep SG from being found or he didn't know she was there?
Just wanted everyone's thoughts TIA

I think it's 3 or 4 men. A renowned Norwegian psychic specifically said a doctor and lawyer were part of the killing group and I think he's right.

I think it's LISK with 4 victims and then it's 5 other killers working independently of each other, and they can be serial killers or passion killers, for instance Peaches and her child seems like a crime of passion, it doesn't scream serial killer to me.

I must admit that peaches and her child does not for me either. However, Jessica taylor does and so does shannan. Not saying I'm right but it's a powerful hunch.

Some people think she died by accidental drowning (which doesn't explain why her clothes are found a quartermile away and why she's missing fingers and toes and why autopsy report claim she could have died by strangulation), some believe she was murdered. It has been confirmed that Burke and Hackett knows each other since the 90s. This would explain the theory that the FBI (and others) believe the serial killings in Oak Beach are committed by more than 1 serial killer.

There are just still so many questions though. SG was an escort summoned by Joseph Brewer, not Hackett. So if Hackett was the last person to see SG, did he just out of the blue saw it as opportunity to commit murder? But it would seem like a huge risk, to have an escort come knocking on your door not knowing where she was coming from or whether someone was looking for her - which could possibly trace SG movements to himself (Hackett). In the 911 call, SG claimed "They are trying to kill me!" So it is Joseph Brewer and one other person. Could Hackett (the neighbor) be in Josephs home at that time? Is Michael Pak even in on this? Perhaps paid large amounts of money to be this transport driver for escorts? Its hard to figure anything out since we don't have direct access to investigation reports. They were let go too soon.

I don't know where I stand on SG. I think the presence of Michael Pak compounds it. It could go either way.

I do believe that Hackett only inserted himself because he's the drug dealer there and he gave Shannan illicit drugs. He was trying to save face when he said he ran a home for wayward girls because if it was an overdose or drug induced paranoia he'd still be charged with felonies.


If LISK was there then the FBI would have a lot of opportunities now to make deals with these guys. I'm sure they're still committing petty crimes ( solicitation, pimping). They could just follow them a few times, get a bunch of cases, and then threaten them with some serious jail time unless they speak about who was there.

I'm inclined to think Shannan was not a LISK related crime.

But the fact that LTEC thinks the same makes me wonder.

I disagree. What happened to Peaches screams serial killer to me. Otherwise her family would have been looking for her. She was living off the grid.

When I first watched that video of Leanne the thing that really stood out to me was that Burke didn't just solicit her -HE TURNED HER OUT! I'm still wondering about that. At that first party she was wearing converse and just thought she was at a party a friend invited her to, and had never sold sex before. I don't really know what to make of that but it seems potentially significant.
