Cindy and Casey were fighting the day before Casey left with Caylee. They had visited my mom and dad on father's day at the nursing home. My mom was angry that Cindy didn't do anything about Casey stealing money from their checking accounts. Thank God that the account for my father was hooked to the nursing home and wasn't allowed to be cashed by no one other than the nursing home. My mom got that money reimbursed from the bank. She asked that the bank press charges but somehow Cindy and George got Casey out of it. That is what we think the fighting was about after they got home that evening that the neighbors overheard.

Casey's grandma,(my mom) lives right around the corner from the nursing home. Casey found the checkbooks in my moms bedroom. She stole 1 from each account. My mom can write a check for my dad but it has to be for the nursing home and nothing else. Casey tried to cash and did cash it at a store for 354 dollars. I don;t know what she bought though.

I am a member since July 26, 2008. But I have been doing this for a long, long time all by myself. :)

All of Casey's friends knew this but I am not a friend of Casey. Certainly her grandmother didn't know she was such a liar. Remember, I most get my info from Cindy's Grandmother. I don't know any of Casey's friends. I only saw how she lied about her pregnancy first hand.(7 months pregnant and still lying about it)

I wondered out loud here the other night about why George had filed for divorce and then decided to not proceed with it.

I can now see why with all the family dysfunction going on.
IIRC George rescinded the divorce papers right after Casey left with Caylee ... and saw how heart broken Cindy was or how peaceful things would be now that Casey was gone.

I'm sorry, I just don't buy the 25,000. I can't see anybody extending that kind of credit to them , givin their debt problems. (which are all public record) I mean George wasn't working a high paying job, and a nursing job is a good job, but still....25,000? Over how long of a period?

You only need a couple of different credit cards with $10,000 limit on two and $5,000 on another.
 
Kinda O/T but has anyone watched the video on youtube about speech reversal on Casey?
 
Like I said - I have a few online casinos downloaded on my puter. I don't use real money - they let you "play" for fake money. But if you want to "bank" you have to have a cc or a bank account and Casey didn't have access to that - well maybe mom's cc - I guess that's possible. Could have been what she was doing all day - like that "was her work". If you win somewhat big - you now have a "bank" to play off of. Win some - play it - lose some - play more bank - win some. Could have been what was going on. IMO
 
This was Cindy's princess. She could do no wrong in Cindy's eyes. Cindy did not think Casey was a problem. She believed everything Casey ever said. She hid the fact of how bad a liar Casey was to everyone.

I feel sorry for Lee. His "little sister" always got what ever she wanted. Lee loves his mom and dad and knows what a liar Casey is. It is probably difficult living through this. No one thinks Casey would harm Caylee on purpose. But her
lying about everything all the time has gotten her in this mess. I personally think it probably was an accident and she is trying to cover it up.

Casey is known to make up lies from bits of truth. This is a good point. I couldn't remember the Hispanic kid,s name. Thanks. That is very interesting. That could be where Casey made up the name from only adding Gonzalez as the last name.

think you are correct. I think Casey must have read this name and added Gonzalez to it. She uses bits and pieces of things to string her lies.

George stopped the divorce late November 2007 BEFORE Casey left with Caylee.

Maybe one of the as-yet-unfiled ancillary charges the talking head lawyer mentioned on Greta last night. But, if they have something like this on her, why haven't they charged her? It's a separate offense and wouldn't jeopardize any potential homocide charges.
