But I was thinking the ATV could be used to transport Alexis to a location, and RAT could walk through some wooded area with her. I also don't think there would be very much mud in August, but maybe a local would know better?

I'm totally with you here. ATV riding through brambles to conceal, not joy riding trails. My guys ride and wear shin guards to protect themselves from the Virginia brambles. I think LE probably already did this, but I'd start looking from where the cabbie dropped him off and walk every conceivable trail /non trail in that area.

This is so frustrating. So, by 7:17 she was not responding. My theory, he said something about getting pot, she follows him out, and then leads the way but on Canary Loop, something happens and possibly a neighbor sights her car going out the unusual way. He had to have given her a ploy for some reason to "stop by his place." Once in his driveway, she is overtaken. That would be just about the time she no longer responds.

I really believe he was talking to her via DMs. His phone goes off just about the time that she leaves her home in Shipman.

The photos were too dark for me to see. I think they said back of his legs ,but I am not 100 percent sure on that on.

There was a lot of mud when searches were conducted up near Crabtree Falls. Remember they found deep tire tracks in the mud near those cabins. We all discussed those steep ravines off the top of that muddy track.

Honestly for some reason it seemed the FBI agents Pittman and Mays thought RAT was going to confess. It seemed RAT wanted to make sure his son got some items. A 4 wheeler, a lawn mower and something I couldnt hear.

I guess playing good cop, to poor misunderstood RAT, He played liked he was going to tell them what happen but RAT sidestepped them anyway it was during this period they allowed RAT ex to bring the boy and get the 4 wheeler.
I thought it was odd that RAT is pretty sure he is going to jail now as he knows they know he has lied and he knows they found he body jewely and hair ,yet the most important thing to him is to get that 4 wheeler picked up.

So if RAT was stalking her via SM, he knew about CRD, and their friendship, (and per his attny he was using the wifi at McD's ). We will never know but maybe this was the bait. Maybe the lie to Alexis was; RAT convinced her that CRD was at his place and wanted to meet her, or something like that. The convo on her ask acct was that someone was planning on meeting her (anon) THAT week-end, and in her eagerness to meet CRD, AND thinking anon was CRD, she was lured to Rat's place. That would fit RAT's lie that she was meeting CRD to smoke some pot at his place. She wanted to meet CRD, not smoke pot. Makes more sense to me than a young girl scoring pot from an old creep like RAT.

Just K, I think you may be onto something about him and his offering up 9.00PM. Sadly, I think this was when Alexis was probably deceased.
I've been thinking along similar lines about places he said he was or had been. I'd translate that to search in the opposite direction, if you get what I mean. Therefore I'd guess he disposed of her south east of Lovingston.

I'm pretty sure he said he was ATVing in Ruckersville and well remembered about him being spotted in his mud covered SUV. I'm pretty sure it was the Monday morning after that weekend. I also remember his son was in the SUV at that time.

Im getting the feeling that he dumped her body in mud or in the deep woods , her car is found with mud under it. Atv is good on mud. they have atv tracks in the mud in certain places the fbi has seen. he was sweating badly when he got to the place to order two beers. If had a sweat shirt on in mud near the deep wood area then this would make good sense.

What do you think?? I know mud searches where done. Mud is very deep and only get deeper with time and weather, it just smart thinking on his behalf.

That would take all day or a lot of hours. From my understanding on cases with butchering . DID they get the lawn mower and test it??

I read one quote where his attorney implied that Rat's, 14 year old son spent a lot of time in the old run down house where "the scrapbook" was found. Now, we hear he gave what was most likely the stolen ATV to his son. He picked up his son the day after he dumped Alexis or even the day he dumped her. Then, we hear he said that his son went to the HS with Alexis. If he didn't know who Alexis was and had never seen her, how or why would he know where she went to school. His son was 13 and turned 14 after Alexis disappeared. I read an article back in late August or early September talking about him going into 9th Grade.

He mentions all these little hints just to toy with people. He is a sick and evil creature.

Pops: if RAT does suffer from some performance issue, which sounds right, then maybe he wonders about whether he actually is a father.

A few of us wondered if there is no bombshell coming, why would the DA have filed these Murder charges. Today it hit me. He will be found guilty of abduction and abduction with intent to defile and possibly malicious wounding (but I'm not sure that is even on the table.)

Maybe they did find other missing girls phones or belongings. Maybe they can bring charges against him in those other cases and then the DA will be allowed to cite this case as a previous conviction of abduction with intent to defile.

I don't have a link but one is in this thread in the start around the the 1st couple of pages about how her hair was found pull/ or cut in strange way with blood on it in ball in or under a sofa.


Btw I think the son is the key, everything revolves around his son or goes to his son. The best place to hide secret is with your kids. I learned that over time with abuse cases. What do you think??..

I think they have something.. it all about timing.:fence:, maybe they did find other missing girl things. who have been missing for years in his possession. They have to make sure the defense cant dispute it. Right now the defense is real defiant.

Not to say your wrong. but I think a rape did happen . Why is her blood on his bed?. We cant rule it out.. again its not a great distance away from the woods

Blood was found on Taylor's bed sheet, but it did not contain Murphy’s DNA.
