Guilty has been added to the thread title:) Thanks to all of you for keeping us updated and being here for Heather and her family.

The pic at link of Sid hugging his daughter makes me sad, BUT ... where was the concern for their children while having an affair and murdering Heather? Their idea of responsible parenting is a joke. I also think they use their children in public venues (Facebook, Court and in the media) to gain sympathy. It's disgusting and I can only hope for their sake, not generational.

This may have been asked and I missed it, but can this verdict be mentioned/used in any upcoming kidnapping retrial?

Also, while I do believe Sid would have been found guilty with or without the testimony of the cousin, I commend his courage and wish him to be free of his demons and provide a wonderful life for his daughter.

One more thing, was that Tammy sister sitting on the back row during sentencing? And if so, why didn't she sit with and console her neice in Tammy and Molly's absence. That bothers me. Regardless if what I think about Sid, I do hope the Bailiff allowed her to give her Dad a final hug.

I did see SM hugging and consoling his daughter after the verdict was read but I'm not sure about the sentencing.

I think TM is now only on Facebook under her fake page (Unofficial: Monopoly).

Speaking of Facebook, yesterday I was reading an unofficial transcript of the interview with SM. Before he flubbed up the payphone question, he told them he had stopped to get gas. When he said it, he immediately pointed out that he paid cash and also said it was late, so the inside was closed so he paid at the pump. The officer said "you paid cash at the pump without going inside? I didn't even know that existed." (I am paraphrasing)

My question....do pumps like this exist in the South? You can pay CASH at the pump? Even gas stations around here won't let you pay credit card at the pump if the place is closed....

Speaking about all these bogus Facebook pages (which I file under conspiracy pages), I wish they would expose the owners! They have been nothing but mechanisms to dispel lies, rumors, and falsities surrounding this case. If in fact, the UM FB page was run by TM, then the obstruction and gag order cases would be blown wide open. I don't see why the Solicitor's Office didn't get a subpoena to find out?

As far as the gas stations go, that's a great point @TTF14. I have never seen one here! I didn't know that they existed either.

SM said he went to one near the Wal-Mart, right?

The closest one to Wal-Mart on Seaboard is the Circle K and they're open 24 hours.

Not sure of others, but I'll take a drive over there and look for myself.

BBM for focus

Thinking more about this topic (violating the gag order)... TM's "day in court" is approaching. I REALLY think that the Solicitor should consider sending a subpoena to Mark Zuckerberg to look into who owns some of these FB pages that TM may Admin.

She can't possibly stay off of Facebook. She probably channeled a lot of her energy into fake profiles, lurking, and trolling through a few of these dubious pages IMO.

Anyone second that notion? I'll call Nancy first thing tomorrow with the tip. She's probably still enjoying Happy Hour right now.

I think she left mad as a hornet because SM got them caught and ruined everything.

RSBM.

I was wondering this.....maybe she was mad about her cousin's testimony? She might have not had any clue Sid had showed Donald anything from his phone.

No he looked back briefly and then was escorted to the side door with bailiffs in front and in back of him. Bye Sid!

I think 'ole Tammy learned many things she didn't know previously over the course of the last couple of years. I don't see Sid being honest about things with her. He's a lying liar who lies, and if there's one thing we've all seen before, someone who lies a bunch, keeps lying a bunch. They would have seen cousin's name on the witness list, but might not have realized what exactly he was going to say on the stand.

The beauty of these 2 is they aren't able to keep their mouths totally shut (99% being TM) so out leaks lies and other vermin.

I agree that her FB alter ego's need shut down.
I'm sick and slept through most of today's trial but woke up for the glorious ending. Does anyone have the clip of the cousin's testimony?

That's possible and he'll pay for that, especially as her fate looms.

I want TM to keep all her social media and keep it going. Just digs her in deeper, which can only help over time. :D

Ding-ding-ding ... bet she knows exactly what DeMarino was talking about.

The judge calls a sidebar, then calls him up outside of the jury at about the 12:30 mark, he then testifies in front of the jury at about the 24:00 mark:

Posted at the same time as JerseyGirl :) no need to see his mug back to back.

I think I might send NL an edible arrangement since I'm too far to buy her a drink. I was so proud of her closing! PTRF, sorry didn't quote you, I think that is a fabulous idea! Facebook is her weakness and I know for a fact there are forensic IT guys who do that stuff. One of my PI friends (is also an IT guru) does that stuff & testifes in trials as an expert, they can get any & all of it from FB!
I'm so dang happy tonight! This has been a great day.
IMO

I'd go with that but only if I knew it would be used in the end. But if she's shut down, she'll just swell up and eventually burst and shrapnel will fly far and wide, blowing the case open.
On a side note just saw one of the facebook groups getting a post from some "man" about prosecutors lying and "he" has proof.

OMG - no wonder you guys were reacting like that! I'm excited for the kidnapping trial - and hope this young man is protected in some way. Does that sound extreme? I mean she allegedly kidnapped once, why not again.

Ho-ley mo-ley!! I thought for sure with this judge that SM was going to get time served and a small fine.

Consider me happily wrong!! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Now for TMs day in court!

Did NL not want to ask about what was on the phone so that his testimony would be easily allowed? Would it be bc then the defense could object and it get thrown out somehow?

Yes. I'm actually surprised it was allowed at all in this trial, but I guess the point was that whatever he saw showed that he DID have knowledge of Heather and what happened after she disappeared, and he had previously told investigators that he did not.

Probably. She only needed to fight one battle today. She won and left us with a cliffhanger...
