Typing on my phone, so pardon any errors, for those following along at home desiring more details than the twitter feeds offer:

Witness sworn in Evan German, 27 from IL and MB resident since 5Yo. Current resident of Burgess? Spelling as it sounds. Lived there during 2013. Stayed at a beach house for ten months with cousin John masterson during part of 2013 roughly fall through later half of year moved in January 2014

Beach house in garden city off sea breeze, had parties

He has a kid now and says he’s grown up a lot since

Used to go to the inlet and stayed close by to party/go out and have fun. Went to beaver barn and hot fish and places in between.

He knew HE and had a relationship with her, met via mutual friends and he knew Bri hasn’t seen these people/old group of friends in awhile. Bri and HE went to his beach house to hang out about two months before HE missing.

Bri and his cousin were hanging out and they watched a movie, with HE. He got home from work and walked he to her car. Approx later in 2013 maybe October give or take

This was the only time she came to the beach house

They smoked pot? Objection relevance, defense: character, objection sustained

He told people he thought he saw HE at the beaver ban on Friday night. He said “I thought i did, it wasn’t her, mistaken identity”

“We bumped into each other, very brief”

Casey Brown is unbelievable (in a bad way). I wish the witnesses wouldn't fall in his trap. This one just said he slept with "her" (Heather). Although the prosecution objected and Judge sustained it, the "message" is out there. Hope the jury sees all this for what it is. A healthy, normal young woman was disappeared after messing with the wrong family!

A HUGE hint and lesson for anyone who is ever called to testify in a trial.

Always PAUSE and take your time in answering any questions from either side because there could be an objection that is brought up by either side and you may not have to answer the question.

D: “you told police that right? Did you go back to beaver bar with police and watch video footage? Could you clearly see you in footage? Could you clearly see other girl?”

Young man on stand: “the video evidence clearly showed you could see her arm, can’t see the tattoo, it’s not her”

German said he told people that he thought he saw Heather Elvis at the Beaver Bar after she disappeared. He said it was a case of mistaken identity. He said he hugged who he thought was Elvis that day. Says he watched video and it was not Elvis.

#TammyMoorer - The video at the bar didn't show Heather's tattoo on her arm so he knew it wasn't her.

German said at the time, he was so sure that he saw Heather Elvis at the Beaver Bar after she disappeared that he called the police the next day. He said he drank too much that night. Said he watched surveillance video and it is clear it wasn't Elvis.
