I'm inclined to believe Henry Graff, the road people may not yet have been informed?
Second that. Henry's probably right. VDOT (VA Dept of Transportation) tends to move slowly in all things... IMO.

Thanx for sharing, FindHG... It is sad that the official receiving this critical tip by MR Pugh placed it on the bottom of the stack.. When there is a recovery search for a missing victim of a likely serial killer and a tip is called in that there is more than 30 black headed vultures/scavengers circling property that has been abandoned for years. You would think that an immediate follow up would be in order.. Why wasn't it?
If not for the instincts of Chesterfield PD Lt. combined with a touch of divine intervention. Who knows if and when the remains would have been discovered..

Question:
I remember when Morgans remains were found that they said even though a cause of death couldn't be determined because of the condition (at least they have never released a cause of death), that DNA was recovered from the body...I remember this very clearly because up to that point the case was sort of stalling. And when they first found her body, they wondered if they would find any useful evidence. And then they were able to find DNA.
Months later (spring time) there was all the talk about the familial DNA testing, as someone had posted links earlier, Morgan's family was very vocal about this. I'm assuming the original DNA found with the body had been run through a more standard database by this point, and hadn't come up with hits.
So then all this talk about familial DNA and how they are going to try this in the Morgan Harrington case, then fast forward a few more months, it must have been summer or fall (2010), and then you get the Fairfax connection and the police sketch being passed around Cville (which didn't happen until after I had left Cville, and I left in June.)
So my question I guess is sort of in regards to whether it was the standard DNA data search that led to the Fairfax connection....or if it was the familial DNA search that led to the Fairfax connection?
We know JLM is charged with the rape in Fairfax, so I guess we can assume it 100% his DNA they have on record up there. But if the DNA connection with Morgan is more familial could that explained why charges aren't filed yet in that case?
Ever since Morgan vanished local lure, has always suggested that it was a local, and more people knew things then were speaking.
I wish we knew what was found in JLM car and apartment that linked him forensically to Morgan? I wonder if anyone in his family, such as his father has a criminal record...perhaps a cousin?
I think JLM is guilty as heck....but I'm not sure all his crimes were solo ventures....any thoughts?

The following Atlanta, GA homicide victim was located burned beyond recognition. She was identified within 24 hours via dental records. Yet, here we are six days later and only silence from ACPD... Why?

I am wondering whether the remains were not, in fact, Hannah. If that's the case, LE would be quiet while they search and excavate the area to determine whether other victims' remains were also there. That's all I can surmise. It would seem they would have said already one way or another.

The teeth might not be intact. Someone yesterday posted photos of what happens to bodies after vultures feed on them - they get picked apart, even the teeth get pecked away. Everything might be in pieces (sorry to be graphic).
