IIRC, there was some discussion as to the accuracy of that news report; particularly with regard to the maggots. I will look for the discussion ASAP, but again, as I recall, someone posted that there were maggots only on one item as opposed to the items being "filled with maggots" as reported.
 
Keeping my fingers crossed that some news that will give the family some closure comes soon.
 
No update yet on the person taking down posters. Not cleared yet?
 
Any new developments or updates? I searched Google for new articles but didn't see anything within the last week.

I am still trying to figure out what LE found that Charli couldn't have lived without, a lot of blood? I don't think there is a particular bone you couldn't live without is there?

The plot thickens with the arrest. They have him where they want him.

A person couldn't live without a jaw. No way to eat. IMHO, I'm guessing she was shot in the face.

The ex-boyfriend of missing Maui pregnant woman Charli Scott was picked up by Maui police Monday on suspician of allegedly threatening a member of Scott's family, but was arrested and charged for possesion of a deadly weapon.

Maui police sources say Capobianco is under investigation for sending a message through social media to one of Scott's family members implying someone would get hurt.

No word yet if Monday's arrest violates the terms of Capobianco's release. He was arrested on felony theft and burglary charges in May. Capobianco is accused of breaking into a Haiku home on Eono Place last September and stealing jewelry, a laptop and a desktop computer. He is also suspected of slashing a vehicle's tires before leaving.

Bail revoked for ex-boyfriend of missing Maui woman
Police said that Capobianco sent a "snap chat" message to several people, which contained an image and a statement that was taken as a threat. The image and message was captured and forwarded to the Maui Police

Initially, Capobianco told police that he was willing to meet with them Sunday night.

However, when the suspect charged his mind, police arrested him at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Wailuku.

While searching Capobianco, police found a 4- to 6-inch dual edged knife, disguised as a belt buckle and sheathed within the belt.

Capobianco Held on $502,000 Bail for &#8220;Deadly Weapon&#8221; Charge
Capobianco was not charged with the terroristic threatening offense, which remains under investigation, but he was charged on the deadly weapons offense and was also charged with violating terms of his release on bail.

The charges stem from a an incident reported at 3 a.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2014, in which police say Capobianco sent a &#8220;snap chat&#8221; message to several recipients, including a 16-year-old female, which contained an image and a statement that was taken as a threat.

Police say the image and message were captured and forwarded to Maui police for documentation and investigation.

I kinda understand carrying a weapon for self defense, considering an entire island has your number and having to look over your shoulder every waking minute...but you KNOW the police are looking for you and you keep your weapon on you??? Dumb, dumb, dumb!! How he has managed to cover up a murder is beyond me.

Wouldn't that be something if that was the murder weapon and now LE has it!

It's legal to carry a baseball bat, as long as you carry it like a baseball bat. It's also legal to walk with a walking stick. Both can be used as a weapon if necessary. Carrying a concealed 4-6 knife in your belt? It can only be a weapon, and one that a policeman would not know about and could put them in danger. Yep, that's dumb, dumb, dumb alright.
