Not LE here, but confident in saying this is very much true. Only variation I would make is by saying 'many' instead of 'no.'

Fair enough. I would be willing to amend my statement to "most" instead of "no" to leave open the possibility, though I can't think of one.

They often share with SAR when confidentiality agreements are in place. That's the instance I was thinking of, anyway.

Very true. Though even in those instances I would bet they don't disclose much more than where needs to be searched. In other words, they're not discussing how they're going to go about getting information or who they're going to get it from.

The Without Warning team said days after Holly Bobo's disappearance, her cell phone was found sitting ... "Names were there and numbers were deleted,"
http://www.wsmv.com/story/22199731/holly-bobos-family-taunted-as-they-seek-her-return

Why were the names available, yet numbers deleted from Holly's cell phone? Did the perp use an alias and contact her with a ruse of a care giver job?
Nursing student Holly Bobo was nearing graduation. Imo, it would be plausible to consider that she may have been checking out job opportunities where she could practice her newly acquired training such as a nurse or caregiver; nanny, special needs care, senior care, etc. There are many internet companies that provide job opportunities for trained caregivers.

This is only one example: http://www.snagajob.com/jobs?s=tennessee&c=care.com&page=3

All the Tennessee jobs currently available are listed below. Don't see the job you're looking for? Check back soon - we add hundreds of new part-time and full-time jobs every day.

Imo, many faulty assumptions were made by investigators and others on 04/13/2011. Due to perceived hypothesis, this is only one of the many faulty assumptions by investigators, imo;

"The person responsible for Holly's disappearance lives in the area," said Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. "Because of the terrain, you have to know where you're going, entrances and exits". "We feel the person is in the community".

"We're asking the community if you know someone who has changed their routine, please let us know."

Just figured I would throw this out there for discussion since the thread has quieted down while awaiting the TV 4 special 'Hunted', airing Sunday.. Am I grabbing for straws with this theory?

Hunted Preview....

"MOO, TV 4 is putting the Heat on the Heat, to end this living Hell for Holly Bobo's family"...
"IMO, the reason that we are here over two years later is due to the squandering of the most valuable investigative resource; the American public".. The antiquated silence strategy that has been utilized by the TBI, imo, only causes innocent victim's lives lost and mounting cold cases...

Thinking a lot about Holly lately...I guess it is just now that the woods are all green again, and the weather is warm...maybe it is because of the storms that happened during some of the searches? Whenever I hear rain pouring thru the leaves, with birds singing in the background, I can't stop thinking about Holly.

Is this the story they were going to show on Sunday?
I wish the country music star was here to answer questions.
I am guessing that they investigated that already and found nothing,
or perhaps they considered it to be to far outside the box to take it seriously.

I think of Holly Bobo when I listen to this Song sang by Heather at the 2013 CUE National Missing person conference..

VERSE I
Life is fragile
It can change in the blink of an eye
Sons and daughters
Gone before we can say goodbye
Left without answers
Searching for a clue
Praying for a ray hope
That will lead me straight to you

My daughter, Holly Bobo, was abducted on 4-13-11. After two years the case is still unsolved. There are other families in West Tennessee that have experienced the same tragedy for longer. Now is the time to push for a new approach and fresh eyes to achieve resolution for all these families. Please sign this petition to support the creation of a special task force. The new team will be comprised of qualified professionals who can re-examine and investigate these open missing persons cases.

Wondering how many of you have tried to leave a contact in the phone after deleting the number? My phone won't let me do it. I have to put in either an email or a phone number.

After over two years and over 750 days since Holly Bobo's abduction, it is past time for the TBI to give a press conference/update. The refusal to do so shows a very belligerent attitude toward those who they are sworn to protect, imo.. Is there a predator in the TN community's midst?

The motto of the TBI is "that guilt shall not escape, nor innocence suffer".

Well, one of the new things - and there were precious few of them - was that they cleared Drew, possibly at the insistence of an attorney as his name was mentioned seven times in the first episode.

Hear, hear. In full agreement.

the cyber guy says - 4 viable suspects (22:49) one stands out a couple inches above the rest

(they also speak about people have their cell phones off during the abduction time, alibi not checking out, behavior the next day, etc...mention after 21:00)

personal crime...why Holly Bobo on April 13, 2011 between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning??? They believe it is someone within the community or known to the community.

I have always felt that Holly knew her attacker (perhaps not close but by name perhaps through Church)....

It is nice to see Holly's case receiving attention.

Looking at those maps and hearing all the road names brings back all the days/nights spent on the scanner thread....

How many women like holly have been found in another state let alone another country working as a sex slave? I dont recall any, though maybe there is one. I dont see holly working as a sex slave anywhere and not telling someone she has been kidnapped...We had a sex slave operation in Inidanap[olis busted last year i believe it was, and it was Mexicans brought them here with the promise of jobs etc and than forced to work as escorts. And eventually they were busted and arrested.

If I was down there looking for a shelter sight, i would look for one of those storm cellars my grandparents had outside, to hide from tornadoes, and use as a cellar for canning food, vegetables etc. could be one with a lock on it and generators used for lighting etc.
Maybe on abandon property, private property own by persons out of state perhaps or local, with a caretaker or whatever...I dont believe this woman was taking many many miles away, but to a predetermine place prepared in advance for her. Somewhere right around there in the area off of the road where the pings were made. I dont think they found all the small exits around that route, if those pings are true and accurate.

ADD ON...
Where those pings were...Instead of driving that route, i would walk it with others on both sides and look for any possible trial, even a foot trail that leads up and back into those woods. He didn't have to stop the vehicle to discard the items, he could have done it while in motion. I assume where a ping was registered and a stoppage was indicated is a place where they found an item though just guessing.

Anyone with an twitter account. Could you ask Miss Duncan if she received any email or other messages from an obsessed fan/fan with an infatuation with her and that communication stopped after Holly became missing. Someone from the area.

Very true. Though even in those instances I would bet they don't disclose much more than where needs to be searched. In other words, they're not discussing how they're going to go about getting information or who they're going to get it from.

Sometimes LE will discuss possible motive and method with SAR in order to help them in gridding possible location sites. For example, it is not uncommon to get a call asking for SAR assistance, arriving on scene, having LE tell you 'search here.' SAR saying ok- what are we looking for- and LE saying something like 'an iTunes Music Store Card with the code xxTGV92zxKL716FC on the back, in a black Anne Klein purse somewhere within a 1 mile radius.' Generally someone in SAR will say, 'Ok, what color is this card, does it have any other identifying features, does it need to be flagged, bagged, photographed, etc etc.' When you're SAR and you locate a piece of potential evidence (and are working under a confidentiality agreement) that's a tremendous amount of information available to you that LE may not want disclosed to media or anyone else for that matter at that time.

So that's where I was going with how the methodology often works. HTHs explain where I was coming from.
