How much time will Ron get?

Emeralgem, I agree with you. I have always supported LE but I'm not stupid. I'm very aware of the corruption and dirt that can happen with some of the LE. I felt very early in this case that Ron must have some very incriminating information on someone very high up the ladder in Florida Law Enforcement. I still feel this way, nothing has changed my mind. When I brought this up more than a year ago, some of the posters acted as if I had spit in their mother's bread pan and were aghast that anyone could say that about law enforcement. Every barrell can have bad apples in it. There are many cases of "bad" cops, all you have to do is google but then we have Drew Peterson waiting for trial right this minute. The SA's failure to press charges against Ron on any of the crimes up to now waved a red flag to me. I'm waiting and watching and will be continuing to do so.....hopefully, we will learn soon, as you say.

I know you're serious with this post Lone, [I]but spit in their mother's bread pan.... that just cracks me up.
Drew Peterson in my opinion isn't just a bad cop, he's a rotten human being.

Sam Parker got life in a no body trial and they found his wife's body Monday.

Really I would not be surprised if the judge gave him 25 years.

Haleigh was not under Rons watch when she came up missing and Crystal said herself that Ron was a good daddy. Jr was probably with a sitter or his mom when Ron was in the car as he wasn't with Ron.
Crystal got Jr when Ron went to jail as she is next of kin but she don't have full custody of him and I do not believe she has gone to get custody while Ron is in jail. We probably would have heard it by now.

Bath, if as you say Crystal doesn't have full custody of Junior, who does she share custody with? Do you know?

Off Topic sorry- Ron still has custody as Crystal only got temporary but that may change if she goes back t court, maybe she don't want full custody? I have NO idea.

those kids were not taken care of before this. There have been reports, unrefuted reports, I might add, that Ron left the kids, in his car while at work, & that Misty & Ron left the kids alone. & I included Ron on that 2nd one, because IMO, he knew, & it was his job, to not let that happen. Also, when he was running the roads, looking for WBG, road raging, & when he was delivering dead rats, & when he was doing things like tossing Misty's clothes, on NayNay's lawn, & sticking a gun in his mouth, or beating up the babysitter, those kids weren't being loved & taken care of. & when Ron was learning the legal way, by DCF standards, to spank his child, I can't help but wonder what kind of 'taken care of', went on before that.what aboutwhen he traffickedrugs? Was he taking care of Jr then? Ron having that job at PDM, was so short lived, that I don't think it's fair to use it as an excuse for his neglect of his children. The real Ron is the thieving, pilll popping drug dealer. & the guy who loved his guns & teenaged girlfriends. & that's why so many of us, regardless of whether he was really at work or not, want to see him go down & serve some hard time. & if Jr's grown, by the time his daddy gets out, then so be it. Maybe that'll give him a fighting chance.

Well you certainly sound like you know them personally as I haven't heard all that stuff, will you be going to court? it would be great to hear all about it.
I wish I could go down there and meet these people as it would be a whole different feel as it is for those of you that know them A LOT better than most of us. Thanks for letting us know all this info....

You're welcome.

Ron and Crystal both have legal custody of the children. Ron had primary residential but that has changed now. Now that Crystal has physical custody, the leap to say she has residential is a non-issue.

....we have to wait till Friday or longer to find out what his future holds. I doubt if rc were let loose tomorrow, would he gain residential back.

Back to the sentencing this Friday.

Since I live in Mountain Time, Ron's 9 a.m. scheduled sentencing in Florida will mean I'm up before 6 to learn the outcome. Since I stay up so late at night, 6a.m. is not a time I like to be awake. However it will be worth it.

My plan is to be at the computer, signed on to WS, have the television tuned to HLN with the back button set to True TV. An Irish Coffee and a can of Mocha Rock Star will be on my desk, with a few cigarettes (they are limited per day) and the phone at the ready since I know my sister will call to discuss what we see and hear. Along with a couple of other friends who follow this case will be calling.
What's everyone else's plans for Friday's sentencing?

I sit up really late too. Most 'nights', I get to bed between 4 & 5, sometimes 6. I get my 8 year old off to school, & sometimes go back to bed, sometimes not. I'm a terrible insomniac, (always have been), & wondering what's going on with Ron, will keep me up, so I'll be checking here & HLN. & smoking & drinking lots of iced coffee. I'll have to limit the cigs, because after no sleep, they really hurt my chest, & I'll make my coffee, the night before. So, I'm gonna be ready with my fingers crossed, sort of, & hoping for some of that roundabout justice for Haleigh. & I hope the judge tears into Ron's parenting. If nothing else, he's got that coming.

Hi dodie and AZ..I hope to be with you since I am often up till 4:00am pst. Is his sentencind at 9:00am or 1:30pm? we better find out so we can plan our menus and programs.

I recently purchased a Tassimo machine...have yet to find coffee as gook as my taster choice hazlelnut single tube serving..Yummy. Everythng coming out of this machine is strong....real strong. I love strong but this is x10 stronger. Live next to Starbucks but rarely go. I will have some fresh pastry from Goldilocks and my coffiee...may have to add Kuhlua. well, since you asked, and i live in Florida, by 9am, i will be at my office, with my coffee (very light and very sweet :) ) a pack of cigs (as i will take my breaks to deal with the nerve of people interrupting my WS time, at work, :) ) i will also have the TV tuned into HLN.(my bosses love me, they give me cable TV in my office ...lol) I may bring a case of Miller Light in a cooler in the car, just in case :) i am not going to get too hopeful either, b/c everytime i do, i get let down, too much of that lately, so whatever he gets, he gets.

and so i stay on topic- What i feel and what i hope are two different things. I feel Ron is going to get a light sentence. I am hoping for him to get 15-20 years. Either way, i just think Ron is going to come out of this smelling like a rose, again. I feel like    everytime i think about it. and I hope i am wrong.

I'm hoping for the minimum mandatory of at least 15 years. I think more than 15 would be more appropriate considering what the others have received and considering RC is the one with the long rap sheet.

The only saving grace in all of this is that RC will be a convicted felon and won't be allowed to own or possess guns in the future. I sincerely hope it is enforced upon his release.

Actually, compared to Hopes charges, if Ron got the same as her, it would not be appropriate. And I forgot about the gun issue, he wont ever be able to carry one, but like thats going to stop him, the law abiding citizen he is!

25 to 30 years would make my day!

I can hope right?

But if he gets 15 years, it will disappoint me.

I do not think he will get more than 15, but 25 would be more appropriate as well as surprising. And I am ready for that surprise.

I don't trust anyone down there who is deciding anything legally concerning dear Ronald. He's been allowed to weasel his way out of all legal jeopardy for years. Someday, I hope we find out why he is so protected and who is responsible for it. And, I want to know what his plea deal info is. Is that something we'll ever know?

15 years, suspended for time served plus probation and a fine...:banghead:

Probably so.

Crystal better make sure she gets a court order prohibiting Ron from having unsupervised visits with Junior.

Well I thought I would have that day off, cause we are having renovations at work in the cafeteria, but they just moved us to a different floor. So I will have my trusty little blackberry to tell me what is going on, I start at 9 so I will try to get breaks every hour to tune into websleuths to see what is going on. I can also wait till I get home lol, not happening, I waited for this day. Next is Misty.

I'll be surprised if he gets 15 years, but if he does, I'll be even more surprised if he serves 85% of it.
