Me Four. I know Ollipop will find an acceptable TOS way of letting us know the scoop.

The way I see it, is many of us have been here investing our time and trying to come up with solutions that we deserve some feedback. We websleuthers have been here thru thick and thin.

Cloudy, with a chance of? Come on Ollipop, spill. We are all friends here and are invested.

Nice to hear from you again, and I hope you and your family are okay. I remember early on that your son was worried about the missing girls.

I know you probably don't want to go into details, but can you tell us if you have heard of Chad Fitz?

Thanks.

CVM = Cedar Valley Mugshots, a FB site with a page for Chad Fitz, the RSO we've discussed on and off for a couple of days. Here's the link:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...58819775.56489.279285502183184&type=1&theater

I've heard this name thrown around, yes.

Okay, this has been bugging me all day. I want to tell forensics to check for horse hair on the clothing. DO YOU HEAR ME LE!!!

If the CSIs are worth a darn they will be cataloguing every hair found on the clothes and bodies!!!!

This very thing has happened before with one perp. Joseph E Duncan, III kidnapped and killed two young girls SammiJo White, 11, her sister Carmen Cubias, 9 in 1996.

A different crime in my opinion.

He just cruised by and grabbed them off the street, not caring who saw.

Our girls were entrapped.

:cow:

I know Jon Lieberman is one of NG & JVM's "talking heads" but based on my personal knowledge/experience of him professionally and adding his AMW credits I wouldn't be so quick to discredit his reporting simply by the company he keeps on occasion. If he went on live television and stated his police sources told him something directly I'd tend to believe him. JMO, of course... I don't expect everyone to buy into it. :)

If you add Jon's statements last week from his police sources; not the primary crime scene, "eyeball identification very, very quickly" at the scene, bodies had not been there for 4 or 5 months, etc.... to the use of "bodies" vs. "remains" in every news report and quote from MSM including HC & LE.... the short amount of time LE spent at the scene (only two & half days)... and that the ground did not look disturbed except for grass being cut & a few tree trimmings (no sifting of dirt, digging, etc.)... Adding all of that together I think it is relatively easy to formulate a solid theory that the girl's bodies were placed there recently... which is HUGE.

As far as the clothing that was found with the girls - they may not have been wearing it. The killer(s) could have left that evidence there along with the girl's bodies. They may have been wearing entirely different clothing when they were found or none at all. Maybe the girls had been kept in a freezer in the clothing they were wearing.

Determining time frame of when they were killed will help identify possible locations of where they may have been for the past 4-5 months (alive or preserved) and then leading to who their murder may be.

Your on the right track I think the same thing he may have had access to one of the deer freezers the hunters use and could have hid them there till the heat cooled a bit . God let the LE catch this sick pervert so sad make my heart tear up. My God the familys and what they have to live with Prayers for all of them .

Cinder, cinder, cinder - I can say one thing for you without hesitation - when you come up with a theory, you really stick with it! And I can't say anything else without naming names and getting us both in trouble.

I hope you know I say this with the greatest of affection.

Honeybadger don't care :floorlaugh:

Also responsible for the Groene family murders and kidnappings. Took Dylan and Shasta with him and killed Dylan.

All I can think of is the sisters have not talked in awhile.
Maybe in the same room, hearing the same person and others talking,
but themselves not speaking.
I have seen this even at funeral homes.
Relatives devided, blaming each other etc.
Yes they spent 3 days together but apart......KWIM?

The sisters should mend their fences and remember Lizzie and Lyric played togeather were abducted togeather and died to geather they should be buried togeather that would be the proper thing but, of course they need to mend the fences and remember a house divided will fall so love one another and let by gone's be by gone's forever.Just like the old songs says . Love is all things and heals all things .

And another thang:

This may have already been hashed out, but I haven't seen it -- I have been rushing to try & keep up....so please forgive if I'm repeating someone else.

Could just one individual capture and hold onto two girls, even though they might be so young & prolly no match for him? Even if he were to disable one of them by injury, what about the other girl? Would the one girl still standing immediately run away? I doubt it. She would, IMO, try to help her cousin any way she could -- fighting him, hitting him with a rock or a tree branch, yelling, kicking, etc., etc. Would he put a rope around both of them? Sneak up behind them with a weapon? What? That has been bugging me since I started following this case. Two victims....

Would he feign injury and expect them to try to help him, and then capture them? Same problem there, too.

Multiple perps would be different... but then you have more than one in on it, & that often turns out to be one too many, in many cases -- if both are captured, that is...

It bugs me.

I think one perp could easily control two young girls. If he had physical control of one girl, for instance by grabbing her arm or hair, I think the other girl would be likely to be compliant for fear of her cousin being hurt.

In one of the earlier of these threads, a WS poster recounted the time when she, as a child about the same age as Elizabeth and Lyric, was riding her bicycle with a friend. A man stepped out on the path in front of them, showed them a knife, ordered them off their bicycles and forced them into the woods with him.

Fortunately, she and her friend got away from the perp albeit I'm sure emotionally traumatised.

It's not too difficult to imagine Elizabeth and Lyric doing the same thing with worse results. Even though I am an adult and know that the best strategy in that situation would be to run away, I don't really know if I could do so. If my sister or cousin were being held hostage, could I really leave them with the perp and hope I could find help before the perp hurt her? I just don't know.

From my own childhood, I know how easy it is to pull someone off their bicycle if they are riding through an area with restricted space (such as between two fences). All it takes is for a person on foot to grab the bicycle rider and give a sharp pull sideways and the rider will come off the bicycle. Even a 60 pound kid can pull a 120 pound kid off a bicycle this way.

Also, think of it this way: what did the perp have to lose by attempting two victims? Not much; as we've seen on WS, perps who attempt an abduction and fail just run away. It's relatively rare for them to be caught. So all the perp in this case had to do was make the attempt and have some plan in mind for escape if the girls hadn't been compliant.

Just my opinion, but if one perp can't gain control over two victims, then how do bank robberies happen with one perp and multiple victims? How does this perp gain control over a whole room full of adults?
It would take much less to gain control over two little girls by themselves on a secluded part of a walking trail. Again, MOO.

Grief has many faces. I'm sure this will pass, and the fences end up stronger in the long run.

Sounds like CF is being investigated, it started on Dec. 7th. Could be earlier than that but that's where the comments took me so far checking other fb accounts.

Lyric was living at Wylma's house, so I assume the bicycle was kept there.

Regarding who suggested the bike ride, I believe both girls asked if they could ride their bikes. It was something they liked to do.

I'm with you about the bike staging. I'm 90% sure the bikes were left behind when Lyric and Lizzie were abducted. The other 10% of the time I wonder if the bikes were placed there afterwards.

Definitely think the bikes were staged. Im
wavering about more than on perp.. I can see one perp if a weapon was used to threaten the girls.imo

Gosh, I hope so.

Unlike, say, such second raters as the Houston Police Lab and the FBI lab, the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation has never been embroiled in a scandal over shoddy and inaccurate work.

There is no reason to believe Ankeny is not competent and thorough.

JMO, but I still think the bikes and purse were staged, and the abduction was closer to home. I believe a vehicle was used at that scene. It can happen in mere moments. One held and used as a threat, the other would comply. A lure and bam! before they can react. There have been, sadly, many such abductions.

But what I hear is current and fluid, meaning it is happening like as we speak, and so while I trust the sources, they are understandably...eager.

:countsheep: I will be up waiting in case you have any Breaking News.
