I have been away Christmas shopping and trying to catch up. I don't see any new info, is that right?

There has been confirmation about 2 hours ago from the ME to LE that the bodies are the girls. The link is 1 page back as of now.

Please let me set the record straight on this before I get quoted as saying there is some connection between the body found under the bridge and this case.

I was simply posting links in response to someone's question about the body found under the bridge, and another body found in a driveway in Cedar Rapids.

I see no connection, I was just being helpful to a fellow poster.

I do realize that.

I was just saying it was super creepy considering some thought the weird Craigslist poems had a connection to this case. And I think that's where it was mentioned about checking "under bridges". I am not sure if I am remembering correctly. I know it probably has no bearing on L & E. Just found it to be odd.

I wonder if Lyric and her brother were close? I keep forgetting about him, but this has to be hard for him. I hope someone is there to offer support. I know he's not a little kid, but his sister is gone and that has to be difficult to deal with. JMO

Why Lyric and not Lizzie? Did only Lyric have a FB page? Now that I think about it I sorta remember that was the case....with a Selena Gomez pic?

My 11-year-old is always trying to weasel her way into a FB page and I REFUSE! Aside from the fact that is against FB TOS, it is sooooo stinking dangerous AND not a single one of her friends is allowed to be on FB anyway.

Sorry for the parental rant but I was just wondering why it seems more likely that Lyric was "friending" RSOs. She seemed like a sweet little girl.

Freshly cut trees would mean someone was in that area fairly recently, right? If so, and they didn't find the bodies, perhaps that's an indication that the bodies weren't there until very close to the time they were discovered.

Unless the trees were cut down for some reason after the bodies were found, possibly for access to the scene, or for forensics?

ETA: It's been stated that this area does not receive maintenance from DNR, so I doubt it was done as part of any routine clearing of the area. JMO

I don't know who took them. I was wondering for what forensic purpose they may have been taken.

The stump in the picture doesn't look so freshly cut to me, but maybe it's because it is wet from the snowfall. But, the caption says it is freshly cut.

I've been getting rid of my vintage 60's and 70's clothes...and I'm 5'2"...prolly was 5'1 then, but I had a hard time because of the small size Size 3 or 5 then is now a 0 or 1. I wore size 5 shoes and the three pairs I have she told me she couldn't even take them because of the inventory she already had in the small sizes. She said the ave size of young girls feet nowdays is around a size 8 shoe. :what: Now I know why when I use to thrift shop so much why I had no trouble finding new and stylish heels.

He would take hitchhikers to his forest hang out, let them go, and shoot them like animals. Hunt them, essentially.

Please dear God let this not be how it ended, with our girls frightened and running...

I think the trees may have been taken as just a standard part of clearing the scene. It's not unusual for brush to be cleared. Maybe LE needed to take down some of those trees for access, etc. Idk??
