In this article, note... :websleuther:
"bodies"..not bones.
"People" who are responsible
They have details on "cause" of death as well as "other" details.

The word, 'bodies' is in every article I have seen. Man guys, if the girls were abducted and made to go thru hell that whole time, that would be so very very hard to swallow.

I know. Ditto here! If they are not releasing the bodies and they are not going to release the cause of death, does that mean by looking at the bodies the COD could have been determined.... for example gunshot. I know LE said the families were not shown the bodies to make an ID and Heather and Drew have publicly said they do not want to know the COD, but what about Misty and Dan? They haven't been told either, but would could they have asked to view Lyric's body?

In that video of Grandma she says she drove "down here" (0:50) meaning Myers Lake? I assume that is what she means since the footage is recorded at Myers Lake.

Yeah, it's hard to tell where she means, but she does at one point state that they checked Meyer's Lake.

My guess is that they maybe drove into the parking lot, did a quick loop and didn't see the girls so they kept on going.

So sad to realize that if Drew and Heather both came home at around 12:30 and people started searching, had they gone to Meyer's Lake first they maybe could have been there right at the time the girls were in the area!

There was the sighting right there around the lake entrance roads and TG would have been there at the bathrooms as well right around 12:40ish to let them know he'd just seen their bikes on the other side of the lake!

The sighting in that area was between 12:30 and 1 so they missed the girls by minutes! :banghead:

When the news broke that bodies were found, it was no time before it was cleared that yes it was the girls. Some say, "well the clothes identified them". But if the remains were skeleton with clothing, still wouldn't they have to clear by dna before the public is notified that, yes these are the girls? What I'm trying to say is, the bodies were identified rather quickly. Also, the Collins said they were asked to identify the body and they refused. Now, why would LE ask them if they want to identify a skeleton?

Yes. My take on the drive around search id that Grandma did just that, she did not stop, get out of the car and physically look at each place. I wonder how long (approximate driving time) it would take to go from Elk Run to the next places she talked about to Myers Lake? If she missed the girls by mere minutes then she might have seen an out of place (suspicious) vehicle on the way. I think I have said that in an earlier thread. IMO

Didn't gma say she asked a boy who was fishing if he saw the girls?

Call me crazy... But do you think Wylma and Aunt Tammy could have passed the perp and the vehicle with the girls inside at the time they were looking? Or even the bicyclist might have seen the vehicle w/o realizing it? We are talking minutes here.

ETA: Mjskit was reading my mind and beat me to the post!

Oh, I'm sure that might have been the case.:what:

I wonder what kinda fish can be caught at Meyers lake? I'm telling you, that lake looks like a glorified pond to me.

Great questions!! I thought the official ID would be made quickly because of dental records, but what if it was only the girls' bodies, clothing, shoes and no heads. I'm sorry. That's awful, but there are just so many questions and no answers.

I believe SierraShelby said he had fished there before with his grandson and he had caught a few fish, bass maybe, perch, a catfish perhaps. Can't remember exactly what kind of fish he said they caught, but they did throw them back.

Ugh! I have been trying to post a picture for two days. I hit the paperclip icon and nothing happens?

I don't normally use the paperclip, but click on the icon that says insert image, but I haven't posted any pictures taken personally. Not sure how to post from a camera. ?

Abben stated there was no need for the families to view/ID the girls in the presser. I believe LE felt strongly it was the girls not only from the clothing, but the mere fact of the size of the bodies and the fact there were two bodies together. Confirmation was made very shortly after by the ME.

It was Tammy.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. So Abben said there was no need. Hmmm...

securedownload.jpg This was taken at the gate looking across the lake, parking lot to the left out of frame. See how small this lake is.

SBM: I believe he said there was no reason any parent should have to see their child like that. I agree. I admit I looked at pics of the remains of little Caylee Anthony thinking it would be just bones, but honestly it was quite shocking!!
