About the purse, kids riding a block and back home would normally not take a purse,IMO. So I believe going to the lake wasn't a rare thing. BTW, if the aunt did know they were going there and didn't let anyone know, knowing they weren't allowed, I'd have such a problem with that as a parent, esp now. So by taking the purse, I wonder if they had a little money to stop and grab a soda or snacks for the lake.

Maybe they were looking for an ice cream truck? In one interview, Aunt T. said that there was a "popsicle lady" when she was telling about the day that her daughter and Lyric were late coming home. I know it's a different area but maybe there is an ice cream truck that comes through the lake area.

I am a genealogist with over 25 years of research...so I couldn't help notice the family tree of the alleged CL guy when doing a google search of his name. His siblings and parents are listed on the tree with dates of birth...and guess what???

Younger brother was arrested June 16th, 2012 for manufacturing Meth. You can google search the name of the brother and find the article. I am new to this, so I will let you all post it if appropriate.........HMMMM!

Unless of course TG was a few minutes off of his estimation. If he actually saw the girls bikes around 12:12 or so, he may have seen them BEFORE the girls rode back to the prking lot in town.

They went out riding at 11:30. I think they may have been at the lake earlier than reported, and they may have run into a 'friend' who told them to hurry back so they could ______________________. [ fish, paddleboat, picnic, eat ice cream, play with puppies...]

The reason I think that is the timeline makes little sense otherwise. How did the girls ride to the lake so fast and then get nabbed immediately like that?

We have 49 minutes of unexplained time from 11:30 to 12:19. So it makes sense to me that they went to the lake during that time frame, met up with the perp and were lured back somehow.

When TG came upon the bikes the girls might have been nearby with the 'friend' already. And they got their instructions and rode back to town, checked in with Grandma so they would not be missed, and then raced right back to borrow the paddle boat or the fishing poles. JMO

Without knowing where, exactly, TG saw the bikes, I have no choice but to discount his statement and write him off as someone who wanted to involve himself in the case. If the bikes were at the same location they were found (which the timeline makes nearly impossible), then he could be the hero who gives us an 8-minute window, or he could just be grossly miscalculating what time he saw them. If they were at a different location, then it's possible he just saw the bikes before the abduction, or they were different bikes (doubtful).

I agree with JaimeinLA. I think that the tip sent to LE needs to go to each agency and include screen caps of the ads so they won't have to look them up. This could make the difference between getting lost in the pile or getting attention to this creep right away. Media does need to know so that reporters will ask LE about it enough to be sure it gets noticed!

Pennsfan sent the tip but I don't know how detailed it was or exactly who it was sent to.

About the ice cream truck idea (since Elizabeth had a purse)... maybe that's why they were riding their bikes so fast. Maybe they were trying to get to some particular spot to get to an ice cream truck that makes regular stops somewhere.

Just an idea that occurred to me. I know my kids go into double speed when the ice cream truck is making the rounds.

People are reporting that the video camera was verified to be 8 minutes off.
So it was actually later than 12:15 when they rode by. Who knows if it is true. But people have linked the info upstream here somewhere.

So it made me wonder if maybe the sightings were actually reversed, and the girls bikes were seen in the path before they rode back to town.

Otherwise, where were they from 11:30 until the video sighting at the BigNTall over 45 minutes later?

I cannot believe they rode from the pking lot to the lake, and were kidnapped within minutes. It makes more sense to me that they were being groomed during that earlier time frame, 11:30 until 12:20ish. I think the perps set up the kidnapping at that time, so the rest happened fast.

When I was at the lake today and coming back on the trail a man walked up and past me, he struck me as strange because he had been sitting in his white van smoking and just staring out at the lake. Then he was walking. He was creepy because as I passed him, I said hi and he didn't even try to make eye contact. He didn't walk long and returned to his vehicle and just sat there. For some reason I got his license plate numbers. You know that feeling when someone just doesn't feel right. I heard perps like to revisit their stomping grounds.

Gee, thanks for your personal energy on this,...but it's got to be either potential perp, some creepy dude, LE staking something out, or ...

I dunno...but instincts and feelings count

It reminds me of a door off of a kitchen which leads to a cellar or basement. Anyone else have an idea?

someone was asking about double entendre's and the word 'Puppy' ...I have heard it used before in a film called 'The Lost Son' starring Daniel Auteuil from 1999...and it uses the term Puppy for young children,mostly boys in the film, I think but not sure it has been a while since I watched it,but definitely used in the child sex trafficking trade..

Those CL listings are reminiscent of taunting writings like zodiac or something...almost as if he's laying it all out there...the bloodhound comment in particular...like I'm smarter than the cops..that sort of thing..bikes a lot...not to mention all the other ones.

This craigslist camper says he has no drivers license, so he uses his bike for transpo.

I think this might clear him of this incident. I am not sure he could have nabbed two girls on foot and taken them to his campground without a vehicle.

I believe one of his ads says he is a trucker?
