Could be so that she continued to wear it after her jog. Say she cooled down after running by walking a bit and came directly into the house to do (or continue to do) schoolwork. She may have left on the running attire, the armband and the earbuds so as to listen to her music while her hands were free to type her assignment. Maybe she figured she could get the schoolwork out of the way for the evening then take a shower. I'm still torn though between her making it home or going missing while running. More time specific info from LE would help narrow this down.
Very interesting. She talks about suicide awareness. Tells bf he only has 4 days to love her. He replies no I have the rest of my life. I don’t know dates.

Lol! I’d take that wager if it could be verified.

I think you would lose. Since it's easy to verify that gun ownership in Iowa is 33%. With an average that low it would be pretty difficult to find any county with gun ownership over 50%, let along 80%. Unless all the gun owners in the state were concentrated in one location, which is pretty unlikely.

this goes with my concern about Montelukast asthma med

According to a statement posted on the FDA’s website June 12, 2009, the agency recommends that patients and healthcare providers should be aware of the potential risk of suicide and neuropsychiatric events with the drugs, and patients should be encouraged to contacted their doctor if they notice any potential side effects. Doctors have been advised to consider discontinuing the drugs if signs of suicide or other psychiatric symptoms develop

Mollie Tibbetts' father: Someone she knows took her

"It's totally speculation," he told ABC News, "but I do believe that Mollie is with someone who she knows, probably someone who cares about her. But that relationship was misguided, misinterpreted and went wrong, and I think they're in a place with Mollie and don't know how to get themselves out of this horrible situation."

I know people think that willingness to take a polygraph can say something, but having read a lot about them I would never take one, innocent or not. So that would make me look guilty, when I'm not. I presume anyone with a lawyer is going to be told not to take one so I don't really think you can read anything into someone refusing anymore.
Voluntarily taking a poly is a sign of cooperation to LE and the media. The public is going to form opinion and it usually isn't favorable.

New to the forum but have been reading since around Thread 6 and made an account.

My MOO

I feel for her family. I cannot begin to imagine what her family is going through. I also understand that LE can be tight lipped to protect the investigation.

I initially thought that she was abducted during her run by a stranger hence the FitBit ping.

Now, I’m not so sure anymore. Something isn’t sitting right with me. I try to not to read into her family’s body language during the PC because if I was in there shoes, I don’t know how I’d react. I would like to believe that RT knows something we don’t and is trying plead with someone who may be holding her.

Just a weird feeling I’m having, is that initially, she left willingly, with someone she knew, maybe an acquaintance or someone really close to her. That might account for there being no signs of a struggle.

Now that some time has passed either she doesn’t know how to undo this situation.

The other possible theory for this is that the person she left with, while initially willingly, has misread her kindness as wanting more, and now they are holding her somewhere and going about their normal life. This person might be either someone really close, lives in the area or could be someone that has taken her far away from Brooklyn. I also believe LE and FBI are there because something has happened. This could be why her father seems like Hes talking directly to someone in the PC, whether it be Mollie or the person who has her. This is all MY speculation.

Again I’m new to this, not sure if I’m posting correctly and want to stress this is all MOO.

Do we know 30-40 actual FBI agents are working this case? Or 30-40 people? Including techs, patrol, etc...

That's a good question. That number seems pretty high. I would hate to think that many people are working on the case, and they have so little to show for it.

Have never heard a missing person's family say that they are fairly certain she/he is deceased, not this early. jmo
I thought the family members have been staying positive and believe she is still alive. I haven't read any articles where they implied she was deceased. JMO

I had a event with Montelukast. it lasted 3 days and if someone hadn't taken it away from me it could have been a lot worse. I had/have very little recall of the 3 days that was full out crazy, though leading up to it I knew something wasn't right and I seen the after disaster I had created. I didn't want to tell anyone I though it was causing a problem because I wanted to breathe and it did help me breathe so much better.

That is correct. We were never told exactly when and if the house was processed. I would think the house was and we were never told exactly when they were allowed back in.

MOO. It would make sense for LE to process the house due to the fact that she went missing and as far as we can assume, they didn’t have an exact timeline immediately after the missing report. I think that would help them establish a timeline at the very least.

I don't know. I totally could relate to their comments. I think instead of dwelling on the fact that it's quite likely she's never coming home and if she does she's going to have a lot to work through after a really difficult ordeal (even if she left voluntarily which would open a host of other issues) they are joking to keep it light and manageable. I can see saying something like 'well when Mollie gets back she's going to unload the dishwasher for a month because she's missed her turn so many times' etc. The reality is that if Mollie comes home alive they aren't going to do any of those things. They are just trying to cope.
I agree with you completely. They must be agonizing over her disappearance, and are just coping the best they can.

Not sure about time on her hands. She was staying a lot in a house with her BF. His brother and that brother's fiancée also lived in the house. The BF's brother and his fiancé were to be married on August 2nd in the Dominican Republic. Mollie was supposed to be the bride's maid of honor. So, a very busy, hectic time in Mollie's young life. jmo
Yes, changes were on the horizon for Mollie, including possibly getting engaged - Someone posted on thread #10 or #11 that a friend of Mollie's said her bf was going to propose to Mollie at his brother's wedding.

We should all be happy with the prospect that this young woman is alive, and hopefully will be able to return to her family...
Over the past 24 hours, on this thread, it's almost seemed like some would prefer that that wouldn't be the case. Disconcerting at best.
I would be willing to bet that LE has solid information regarding the person responsible for MT being missing, and I would also bet that while LE has gone quiet, that they are working fully with the dad, and his remarks. Those remarks carry much more weight from a father than they do coming from a detached member of LE.
This has now turned into a chess match, and my money is on the LE specialists.
I'm fully hopeful that this young woman is returned safe, and soon... If I never read about holes dug in corbfielco, dog poop, or maggots again, I'll be very happy. We should all be aware that the folks effected by this sad situation could very well be reading these comments, and if they are, I truly feel horrible for them.

I can't imagine anyone here who would prefer Mollie or any other victim of a crime to be dead
