As to the phone conversation in the gymnasium...I'm assuming the FBI would just pull the phone records for that time and see who she was on the phone with. If indeed that was a guy on the phone saying to call me.

I watched and listened to it and about the only thing I thought I heard was someone in background say "Who is it?"

Link is below. I couldnt make out anything from her own phone. Maybe I am missing something.
Even if it was D I dont see the significance of it? Is that just maybe the idea that there was a plan for her to talk to him later that night on the phone?

New video of missing Iowa jogger from day before she went missing

On that video, Mollie's phone is in her lap and she doesn't seem to be paying it any attention. I don't think it was on. JMO. If someone said "call me tonight" it might be someone present, but off camera. If the other girl said "is that Dalton", she may have been referring to the mirror that Mollie had her tongue all over. MOO...

Yes, and LE had no clue. Also no clue where Elizabeth was, Jaycee, Abigail , Ohio women, etc...when they have known who had taken someone, they have issued the suspect’s name at once, i.e Elizabeth in TN, Hannah Anderson in CA, etc...not wait around hoping for the best outcome.
I think they know who as in seen on cctv or digital fingerprint but they don't know WHO that is as in a name or location.

While I don't think she's being held captive, Ariel Castro held several women for 10 years, so it isn't impossible.
And he did it in a very average neighborhood. AC even had family members over, and they knew not to go into certain rooms in the house. The clues were there and were ignored. I feel the same thing may be going on in this case (people ignoring clues). Whose husband/son/etc. went to the truck stop for beer and was gone for an unusual length of time?

Investigators on Wednesday denied a sensational RadarOnline report that made claims such as cops are closing in on potential suspects.

“There is reason to believe the person responsible for Mollie’s disappearance attended a vigil and has continued to closely follow the case,” the celebrity news tabloid website quotes the source as saying.

But Mortvedt told Fox News in an e-mail Wednesday he has “not heard that from anyone or anywhere.”

Another article that mentions WC... I get it, he's a country guy with a past and people want it to be him... I don't think he had anything to do with it. His farm doesn't even have pigs at this time and with his funding assistance with his soybean crop he is, most likely, happy with his life at this point.

Has anyone else listened to the audio from the video the day before she went missing? Sounds like her phone is on speaker and a guy says “Call me tonight.” And a girl in her group sitting there says “Is that Dalton?”
I just found listened and I hear that too. The only thing weird is her phone doesn’t look like it’s on a call - looks like the screen is black. But Dalton was mentioned. Strange.

I think they just said that because in SOME cases the perp gets involved in the search and the whole process

Maybe I am off the charts here. Lets start from the beginning when MT was safe.
MT must of agreed at some point to dog sit. When was that?
MT knew DJ was going to be away & BJ & fiancée. When did she learn this?
MT probably told co-workers she would be alone. Who would she of told?

We know her Mom knew
She probably told JT since he dropped her off after work
(could JT of told a friend????) Could friends of decided to scare the crap out of her by attempting a kidnapping & things went south? Guys that age have been known to do worse. Whether she was jogging or returning from the jog. Set it up as a joke?
Co-workers?

MT got hurt & all are terrified & refusing to talk now?

I know when your raised in small town Iowa we looked for something to do for entertainment. Ours was never hurtful to anyone ever. Just saying.......
You know what, 3 weeks ago I would have said you're crazy. Today I say, why not!!

If he did it, I will buy you all lunch. MOO

If she was being held against aboher will she would have escaped within two days. There is no way that the abductor could possibly guard her for that long unless he is Hannibal Lechter.
I kind of agree. For one, most seem to be all in on a undercover perp. Some sinister movie of the week type criminal. In real life most murders are done by family, neighbors, friends co-workers and people known to the victim. Stranger danger is far down the list.

I always start from there. So, while he might get caught or have the person escape early on, the longer it goes the more likely it would be she left willingly.
This only applies to someone who is over the age of consent. She's 20 years old and may not have wanted to live the rest of her life in small town Iowa the way it looked like it was headed with the the bf expected to propose in the next month.
Once she went off to college all bets were off.
She spent a long time talking to her Dad. Maybe a longer talk than usual of 3 hours.
He said he thought she left with someone she knew and he probably knows what he's talking about. If there's no evidence to the contrary.

Doesn't have to be... Wearing a hat, gloves, shoes/boots with covers... Shoot, even if there was a struggle you had 45 minutes to take pictures of the inside of the house prior to make sure nothing was out of place...

Very true. I was thinking that too. And if the perp grabbed her right outside and had something on his shoes like the guy wears in the show Dexter, along with gloves there might not be evidence. But it WOULD be hard not to leave a strand of hair something if there was a struggle inside OR outside. I mean it happens, but MOST times there is SOME sort of evidence left.

While 385th Ave seems the logical exit point from Brooklyn, and it’s deservedly getting a lot of attention, I decided to tackle the southernmost point because I find it strange that the FBI have marked it on their map. It looks like that land would normally be under cultivation and there are only a few scattered farms. However, most of them fall outside the area identified by the FBI. I can’t believe anyone would notice what was going on in that area at all, but why are they drawing attention to it.

If you depart Brooklyn, you’ll pass a large truck stop just before turning onto the I-80.

The area next to the Pilot Travel Centre also has a very large truck stop adjacent to the I-80 together with truck repair facilities on the other side. The last map encompasses the entire southern spot.

Both routes have one thing in common – truck stops, but if Mollie left the area along one of her usual jogging routes, willingly or not, that that seems highly unlikely. I only work with facts and the ones that are known to us are only leading to endless speculation so I’ll leave it to others to go down that path.

WC is on media’s radar as he is the only name they have. But L.e would have skipped the PC and probably the website, imo, if they thought he was their guy.

I know in ABQ the SWAT folks get plenty of practice...anytime a wife, family, etc is being held “hostage” even for an hour or two, out they go, surround the house, assess the situation etc...that is what we would see if LE was “close” whether they thought Mollie was inside or not.

Jmo

This house has young guys living there with 2 dogs and I'm sure a lot of visitors... They wouldn't find one out of place human hair ...
