It's been published Mollie and Dalton planned to travel to a wedding the weekend after she disappeared. Am I correct in understanding the wedding was Dalton's 2 housemates?
Yes. Brother and fiancé.

Yes, his brother and his fiancé.

But again, why, if he was taking her from the house? It would make sense if he was attacking her there, but why would he care if they were leaving?
I can only imagine it would be to avoid being attacked or bitten by the dogs. She may not have been taken from the house at all. If she made it back to her house, it may have occurred in the driveway, as it was getting dark, or upon entering the house before she even had a chance to let them out. It is also very possible that she never made it back at all, and there is no actual evidence that she was on her computer later that night. After all it was never actually confirmed by LE, although many have said as much, including the sheriff who was first interviewed.

I wouldn’t be surprised, especially if they were interviewing someone at the police station. “While we’re talking to you, do you mind if we take a quick look at your car?”
If a person was missing in my neighborhood I would allow the authorities to search anything they wanted to. It's not like under these circumstance they're going to say ....oh no.....i found some pot....you're coming with me. (just an example....presuming pot is illegal there) They're looking for a missing young woman or anything that indicates she was there or the people know something.

Maybe but I wonder how many times, with four living there, she was alone? Somebody said, can't remember who, that if Mollie slept there the dogs would have been with her.
I think it was Dalton that said "if Mollie was alone she would go to her mothers house to spend the night".
So there we are.
I don't recall anyone saying that. What is the source?

Has there ever in all this been any MSN report or police or public family remark as to a police search of the home?

My theory on this is that I've always felt that she planned to be gone longer than her run, which has been reported by various articles as usually being around 45 mins long...I figure maybe she planned to go to her mom's for dinner or something where she wouldn't be home for awhile...after all, how much trouble could the dogs get in that short amount of time? But--this is just my opinion as a dog owner myself...I wouldn't lock my dog up if I was going to be gone an hour or two, but if I planned on being gone a few hours--I might...I completely recognize that just because that's what I'd do, it might not be what MT would do though...
I can't shake the fact that Mollie and her BF hadn't spoken that day...they didn't touch base after work...and when she sent him the Instagram, he didn't even respond! I find that odd. Even when he wasn't our of town, when I was that age my boyfriend and I spoke every night before bed. Not accusing anyone, just thinking maybe the relationship wasn't asgood as it is portrayed.

You got that 100% correct.

This type of thing has happened in the past and LE simply says that “we will not charge you for anything we discover that is unrelated to the Mollie Tibbetts case.” Usually this type of tactic involves car trunks during road block searches.

We have all been talking about whether Mollie may still be alive, held captive somewhere. We don’t know who took her yet, but I think we can guess at the likely outcome of this case based on why she was taken:

1 - Random abducter, possible serial killer, gets the “urge”. Goes trolling for a victim of opportunity. Finds Mollie jogging alone, abducts her, may sexually assault her, and kills her.

2 - Neighbor/acquaintance , has misread Mollie, thinks she likes him. She gets in a vehicle with him and he tries to act on his belief that Mollie would be open to a pass/kiss/fondling. Mollie fights him, he becomes angry and kills her.

3 - Neighbor/acquaintance, has secret crush on Mollie. Wants her for himself. Prepares a place to bring her and keep her. She may be alive.

If it was indeed rare for her to be alone overnight...it is odd that no one checked on when they had not heard from or seen her...
Eta...when I would visit my mom, I often stayed in a small motel nearby and one evening I did not answer my phone, she got in her car and drove over...and she was 80...I was 50.

I wonder how many people attended the vigil and also went out with search teams?
They seem to feel the perp is closely watching and most likely did both.

This is what we know about Mollie's last location:

"On Wednesday, July 18, 2018, Mollie Tibbetts was last seen jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa in the evening hours. There have been no credible sightings of, or communications with, Mollie since that time."
https://findingmollie.iowa.gov/

She was last seen jogging, and there is nothing to suggest that she returned to the house-sit house. Furthermore, we should not exclude the fact that she was expected to pick up her car from her mother's house.

It seems logical that she would have her 45 minute jog, end up at her mother's house, collect the car, and return to look after the dogs. It doesn't make sense to me that she jogged from the house-sit at 7:30, returned to the house-sit at 8:15, and then planned to jog again closer to sunset this time to pick up the car. Why would anyone do that?

I totally agree...but it could have just been a cooling off of things, or even just a busy day. People get tired of relationships all the time but then of course they don’t actually do anything violent and they don’t run away from home. It’s possible the boyfriend was out with friends having a good time, and just glanced at the Snapchat briefly because he was busy, which would explain why he barely noticed it.

Of course, to me, just sending a head shot selfie seemed strange in and of itself, but maybe that’s just a generation gap or a personality thing. I’m not as cute as Mollie, so I don’t take a lot of head shots. Haha.

Companies make small tasers that look like cute pink phones too
I'd suggest 1) buying a treadmill. In fact if we catch this guy and no reward money is paid out, it should go to buying treadmills for women who can't afford it (mollie couldn't afford her own car). 2) learn brazilian jiu jitsu. Just a month of classes could prepare you to subdue a violent man 3x you size with an arm-bar or choking him unconscious. Those moves are actually easiest to perform when a perp is on top of you and underneath your legs.
