When the report responds with, "...so not a no" Kevin Winker smirks which to me is body language saying there could be something to that. Next, he says we can't tell you "why" Mollie is missing - the combination between these two things leads me to believe that they have either 1 or several POI, but are unsure of the reason why the abduction occurred

I certainly think it is someone Mollie knows, and that perhaps the community may know. Certainly helps explained why they have to be extremely tight lipped.

The more I think about this statement (BBM), the more I believe they DO know why she was abducted, but they can't reveal the reason since it would reveal the POI. If she is alive, they don't want to spook him into killing her. JMO

Mollies bf's brother seemed upset that he had fallen under scrutiny- but scrutiny by whom? And why would this bother him? The last place Mollie could have been is in his house with his dogs- it is pretty normal for people to look at the closest people first then work outward - he has not been named a poi or anything so I guess I am not understanding what scrutiny he is facing? If it were me I could care less about whatever scrutiny I faced and just work to FIND MOLLIE- my feelings of being scrutinized would never come up as an issue-

If you are innocent, why wouldn't you be upset that time is being wasted looking into an innocent person with an alibi instead of looking for who actually took Mollie?

The longer this goes on, the more likely it is a stranger assuming it isn't a runaway.

I've noticed that Mollie is not wearing glasses in most of the images released, such as her missing persosn photo. Does anyone know if they are reading glasses or maybe just back ups in case she is not able to use contacts?

I think boyfriends mother said she is blind without her glasses or contacts. I thought, at first, RX wasn’t that strong but I noticed a photo where she is wearing glasses and her eyes are magnified so correction would be plus power used for hyperopia or farsightedness and, thus, the reason she may not wear them running.

This probably refers to public scrutiny. A lot of the SM public comments are knee jerk reactions like "the BF and his brother did it" or "they better check the BF's brother" because people are generally stupid and don't bother with facts or analysis before opening their mouths (or fingers as it were). This community is WAY different. LOL.

If I were innocent I would be upset but I would keep that private- if I had a chance to have media coverage I would keep the focus on Mollie and finding her and not mention the scrutiny I was under- everyone operates differently and I respect that-

Yes -- it will measure the hours you sleep per night. They are close-fitting to your wrist, they are often plain-colored, and they have small bands. Mine is gray-colored and very lightweight.They have to be charged every 3--5 days or so. You remove the little monitor from the fitbit and put it into a charger. Some fancy fitbits include a watch.

Mollie is wearing her Fitbit in one of the pics I saw of her; I will look for it. It appeared to be one of the plainer models. The one I have is waterproof and does not turn off. I charge it every 2-3 days when the battery indicator turns orange. I don't know what the max battery life is, and I'm sure it's dependent on the model. Mods, please delete this if it violates any TOS, but I was listening to the Nancy Grace podcast, "Crime Stories with Nancy Grace," episode from yesterday, July 31, and she was discussing the MT case, and was speaking with MT's cousin, Morgan Collem (sp?).
During the discussion, Nancy asked Morgan if the SC was sent at 10pm, or if the SC was opened by Dalton at 10pm. Morgan states: "To my knowledge, it was sent around 10 pm, just based on what I've heard. It sounds like her boyfriend, Dalton, was getting pretty sleepy, and I believe that he had fallen asleep and then opened the Snapchat the next morning. But the sent time would have been around 10."

Yes. That’s been done before in several cases. Google has been helpful in providing location information of all users in a particular area using one of their location enabled Google apps. This allows LE to look not at one particular service provider, but anyone using one of Google’s apps.

Just rewatched the press conference from 7/31. Having family in LE, typically when they seem to be tight lipped for this long leads me to believe they have a lead and she could possibly still be alive.

This x a lot. I would be surprised at this point if the answer isn't that she left with someone she knows. It may not be someone that the general public knows that she knows but the lack of indicators that they were treating the house as a crime scene and all but confirmation that she returned home after the run plus some of the statements Winker made really makes me think she at least had some prior knowledge of her abductor.

A theory that makes sense to me is she knew whoever it was and either let them in or decided to go with them on night of 18th. Perp could have had ulterior motives unbeknownst to MT. She is going with perp and not driving so doesn't think she needs her glasses. She finds out too late of said ulterior motives. Still hoping that she's out there somewhere alive.

Agree too that if it's a member of the community then it absolutely make sense for LE to stay as tight lipped as possible since it's such a small town where everyone knows each other. Word and rumors would spread like wildfire. No need to take that chance.

The press in this case hasn't been the best though. I can see a minor statement, maybe after some prompting, made into something that looks like a big deal.

I remember the witness who saw MT said she didn't look like she had a care in the world. Cue sleuthing. I just assumed the reporter asked "well, what did she look like? Was she panicked, running from someone, was a white van chasing her down?" And the witness elaborated on "nope" but it's suspicious because of a TV edit.

Yeah, the display has a metal strip around it. Yours doesn't have a display I think, but the models that have a display but aren't watches have what look like silver strips on the front.
