Upper level roof, lower right corner, looks like a wet spot with a few dabs of snow in it, and there seems to be some disturbance of snow line where the eavestrough joins the roof. Am wondering if someone sat up there waiting for the victims to come home. (I actually had a friend whose ex was stalking her and he hung out on the roof.) Perp could have come from the wooded area off Queen Rd and that might avoid security cams.

Probably over-thinking, but what I don't see in that picture is snow on the railing directly outside those upper bedroom windows.

I would not call that overthinking… I would call that thinking outside of the box… Which is all often times, how the craziest crimes are solved… AND, the fact that you know of an actual person who’s done this before, adds further credence to the possibility…

The verbiage of the “all victims were likely asleep” tells me the killer went to each of them and not the other way around. And the fact the dog was found unharmed and possibly wandering leads me to believe the killer anticipated the dog’s presence, which would show some sort of prior planning or knowledge. JMO, could be way off.

Moo

LE had conducted an interviewed with many people and may have already interviewed the perp. I also think they’re not giving info to families because a cop once told me (my husband) that the worst people to give info to are family members and bosses cause they go to the media.

Moo, all these press conference are strategically worded and it is more likely that there are certain info there that weren’t true. For their own purpose to solved this crime.

Regarding the video surveillance request with LE wording such as “what you don’t see” is just that. They might be looking for something simple, not human (a car maybe) driving off (cellphone ping) and those who may have a surveillance in their houses or businesses may have that. Something that may not be important to us. When we’re looking at video we tend to check for human movements, but they’re probably looking for car movement.
I like your view on this, great insight!

I think perp was interviewed already too and the LE public relations use of language is an art form in a sense, MOO. It's all very orchestrated and actually fascinates me the power of words and language. I think they are being very strategic and careful with the pressers.

Hey, on the subject of community cameras-- I know that there aren't many ring cams, but what about trail cams/wildlife cameras in the area? I hope LE doesn't overlook possibility there... If the suspect stayed off main streets, etc., you never know.

How do you know the perp parked in Queens road ? Is it speculation or reported? Just curious cause I been following and it would make sense more if she/he was parked there.
What??? I feel like I'm missing something?? Which car?? Which perp???
Context?? Was there suspicious activity??

Nobody has said anything about a parked vehicle with regards to this th
That pavement where the four investigators are standing and pointing would seem well-suited for the killer to park before and get away afterward without being seen. He could park there and slip down into the trees right behind the house. The lot seems to be roughly level with the balcony too which gives him a view into the upstairs girls' rooms.
If this was the case, the only escape route with a car as a getaway would be back down Queen Rd, which the neighbours ring camera would have captured. Though, I doubt the killer would park so close to the home….

I had also been thinking about roofs.
I was wondering if the brick buildings tenants had roof access, like was someone watching them from the roof of another building. I see what you are talking about here and that could make sense.

I see the melted snow or missing snow on the third floor railing on the left side. Could the killer have entered the second floor slider and exited the house via the third floor balcony on left side? In and out in five minutes?

In this image, there are a couple of red spots under the railing where it meets the deck (directly above the E of the word Police on the crime scene tape). Could be from the red berries on one of the adjacent trees, but wonder if it could be blood and the perp arrived at and left the scene from the back of the house:

Interesting. I have done a lot of research on the “ Scream Killers “ and I have to admit. The similarities are there.

These are small red berries off a tree.
I have seen the pic close up where you can see it's berries but I would not be able to find it right now.

IMO, looks like berries. May have been birds eating them, or berries that have fallen and are drying out.

We've got berry trees out here, and I frequently see them on the ground.

JMVHO.

"Unusual behavior" twice stood out for me but I'm not sure why. It could be a vague clue about the type of suspect LE is looking for. JMO

Afraid that this man has no direct connection to either of the victims. The problem is, where Moscow is located, basically at the border of the two states, lots of hunters from WA could stop by, too. We actually have a very expanded area of the criminal’s abode. I wonder how closed the university is to the outsiders, is it possible for some hunter/traveler to stop by at the cafe where girls used to work, or was it for “Greek lifers” only?

I think he didn’t wash himself and was on the road fast. JMO.

I liked a post 2 threads back where the amount of energy needed to cut 4 people so many times was discussed. I still wonder if 1) the perp hurt himself accidentally and there is some of his DNA left? 2) also, if he could have “overwork” trauma, you know, elbow or rotator cuff or something like it? What the police can likely tell is handedness. Would someone with acute overuse of the arm (don’t even know if shoulder or elbow) visit a doctor soon after November 13th? Is it something to look into? We need an orthopedic surgeon here, or a specialist on stabbing might know.

I feel like it’s so impossible to catch up on this thread o_O
I prefer reading/ lurking. I've been able to keep up, reading at least 99% of comments on threads 1-8 and about 80% of the rest to date.

My best advice is to read over and make yourself familiar with all the information in the Media Posts etc.

No disrespect meant, but at least half of the comments wouldn't be here because they are answered in the media section/ links.

This is JMO and is not meant to be shady at all.
