There's nothing I love more than people who THINK. And have theories. My question is, does your theory presuppose FAMILIARITY with this suggested burial site? That is, given the time constraints, would they easily find this place not having been there before? Of course, GGP was there before . . . .one wonders with his supposed "memory issues" whether he would have been able to come up with an isolated, plausible place to bury the remains. I can see where you are coming from in terms of reburial, but I DOUBT that they are bothering to visit or honor their dead son. (The painted pumpkins are surely a slap in the face to their son's memory, and how they could let their relatives make them is beyond me.)

No..I honestly imagine them looking up the area on a cell phone and picking a direction and area based on a longer term plan...and that's what i meant by predetermined. But I can't really know what familiarity they had/have with the area.

So was the filthy crying child a lie too?

Klein said no one remembered seeing a child.

and here's what SB said:

04:09
TG: Prior the camping trip, when was Deorr last seen by someone other than his parents? Do you know?

04:15
SB: You know I know Bonneville County detectives have followed up on that particular aspect of the investigation, but to the best of my knowledge, from the time that they left Idaho Falls on July 9th which was in the early afternoon or early evening, uh, you know we have not had a confirmation-- an absolute 100% positive, that someone saw Deorr, <snipped>

so…um, but No, nobody has seen him prior to his going to Leadore.

10:26
SB: Well, I’m sure we got a copy from the store, but we went back and clarified from the store that that was a receipt from their store and for those particular items, and I think we were able to tell that most of those items were purchased. Um…I don’t think there was any question there, but then we also asked the clerk, did you see a child? Initially she didn’t even remember the parents, but when Vernal, the father, went back in there and quizzed her, she said, Oh, I remember you, but when he quizzed her about, do you remember seeing my son, she said, uh… I remember a child possibly, but I couldn’t tell if it was a male or a female.

I don't think Klein is scared at all. A lot of people have filed lawsuits against him in the past, so he must be used to it.

I'm totally on DeOrr's side and I think the parents are pitiful excuses for human beings. I think they are chronic liars and I believe 100% they know where DeOrr is. However, as they say...the devil is in the details and in a legal arena one cannot be driven by pure emotion. That is very dangerous.

This idea that he is going to apply pressure is not working. Klein does not have the power to arrest them and if they lied to the FBI then Im pretty sure they have no intention on backtracking now.

Does that include PI licensed outside of Idaho? Klein's licensed in Texas. Klein has posted a letter that was written to Dennis Kunz reiterating their agreement that KIC would determine what would be released to the media. It was included in the interference clause of the contract. He also met with Dennis Kunz regarding the case. He didn't meet with Vernal as Vernal was not his client. Vernal's attorney mistakenly referred to Vernal as KIC's client when complaining of not being advised of their findings. Not trying to be difficult but I don't see where he has done anything illegal, but I don't know the laws. Do laws regarding PI's cross state lines? :moo:

I wish this didn't have to sound so much like a football game and Deorr Jr. is the prize. Commenting that #teamklein has gone viral. I'm sorry but that makes me nauseous. Maybe he should post a picture of Deorr Jr. from time to time to remind his following and himself that it's not about sides it's about Deorr Jr. I'm starting to get a creepy Websluthing vibe from everyone involved in this case. Like they read things here and defend them online. I was really supportive of him until this very public pissing match started between him and Browning. If Klein wants to "keep his eye on the ball" then he should have just mentioned Deorr Jr. in that post and not gotten caught up in the media. Hopefully he can redeem himself by following though.

Could be the accident happened at night and instead of calling 911 they think he's ok and put him to bed. He dies during the night. They are afraid of what will happen to them for not calling 911 so they hide him.

Oh heck, I don't know! I really wish we had answers. I'm driving myself crazy here.

I just cannot fathom not calling for help but instead hiding my dying or dead child....It's so...out of this world.

Mmhmm. Hell, even if I'm sure my child has died, I'm still calling 911. A dead child is an emergency.

Oh, Tr., your post has got my Spidey senses tingling! This is very interesting, indeed. How do you come up with this theory? So they leave the campground first thing that morning with his remains. What do you think happened to DeOrr, then? How did he die?

I posted a theory on that in the last thread or two. I think the remains will tell a story when their found.

Private detective in DeOrr Kunz case rehired by anonymous client

http://www.idahostatejournal.com/me...cle_f0c57fa3-8ae7-5785-9edc-d0287faeacba.html

"This week an attorney representing the parents of missing Idaho Falls boy DeOrr Kunz Jr. announced they had fired Klein Investigations and Consulting. In a written statement, the attorney also announced the child's family is pursuing a lawsuit against the private investigation firm for breach of contract and defamation.

But the Nederland, Texas-based company's CEO, Philip Klein, said his detectives won’t be leaving the case any time soon.

He told the Journal that he has been hired by an anonymous client to continue his investigation into what happened to DeOrr, who was reported missing from his family’s campsite in Lemhi County on July 10.

“We were rehired by somebody who wants this case to be resolved and wants to find out what happened to the missing boy,” Klein said. “But the new client does not want their name to be released out to the public.”

Klein also said that Texas Equusearch, a search and rescue organization devoted to finding missing persons, and a team of cadaver dogs from Georgia will be traveling to Idaho within the next couple months to search for DeOrr's remains. Klein believes DeOrr is likely deceased."

Lengthy article continues at link.

From the same article:
"Though Klein wouldn’t say exactly where they would be searching, he did say it would be near the Timber Creek Campground, which is the mountain campsite located approximately 115 northwest of Idaho Falls where DeOrr was first reported missing last summer.

Near, not at. Interesting.

And just to cover all possible bases, there are two Timber Creek Campsites quite close to each other.

"[Poster's name redacted]- thank you for your comments. As we fully understand you have no idea of the evidence in the case and are at least confused on our statements (by your own admissions) we are not going to engage you. Clearly you have an objective. Simply put - as Mr. Klein has clearly stated in review of the over 500 hours of investigation, physical evidence, evidence as it relates in comparision with law enforcement evidence - and lastly [poster's name redacted] admission by one of the principles - we have made our statement on the direction of the case. You can either trust us - or don't trust us. You can either trust LE/FBI or don't trust them. At this point we are all just doing our jobs outside the 'sideshows.' Thank you again for your comment."

Wow! It's interesting to see this shift in demeanor from Klein/his team. They've always seemed guarded, but this cutthroat defensiveness to anyone who questions the recent strangenes of KIC's behavior is a little disturbing. I wonder what sort of pressure they're feeling, and where it's coming from.

We have had locals on this thread who say the Boise media barely covers the case.

I'm in the Boise area- very little coverage, even in the past few days with all the drama. I try to watch the news but somehow I seem to always miss parts of it. We have three news channels and I never know which one to watch either (in hopes of a DeOrr story). However, for what it's worth, I've not seen anything on the news (television) in a very long time (probably since DK and JM were named suspects) - it's highly possible I missed something (because I have seen articles online from the Boise stations), but here in Boise, it just isn't a super hot news topic for whatever reason.

Probably from websleuth lurking;)

I am so impressed by your thoughts and subsequent map trails, amazing work.
My first thought was - how would the parents know of the areas you refer to without previous knowledge - but I think smartphones nowadays can provide maps and references immediately, so maybe previous knowledge isn't necessary.
My second thought was - Are there any mines within the distance?
Burying a body is risky I'd have thought, especially in an area with so much wildlife. Wolves etc might dig it up ?
Being from the UK. I think of April Jones missing in Wales and the searches there that continued for months because it was such a remote area, with many mines where she could have been placed.
Virtually impossible to retrieve a body (such a small one too) or track it with dogs/searchers if it were left in a mine I would imagine. Is this a possibility?
I'd be glad to hear any comments. I'm possibly way off track, I can't get into the mind of anyone who could harm a child so just my thoughts and imo, and to say thanks for your post.

Thanks for following along from across the pond ! I think Persimmon posted some info on mines near the end of the last thread. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...round-10-July-2015-23&p=12396142#post12396142
It's certainly within the realm of possibilities as far as concealment sights go..imo
We can only hope it won't be necessary to search mines but if evidence led to a mine then I'm sure the professionals in that area know what to do.
