I didn't know that might be an option! I hate mornings but thought I would have to arrive at 0 dark thirty to get a seat.

I am very relieved I have not received a jury summons this month. And am hoping they are not going out later than today.

Also, I found it interesting how friendly (laughing) everyone seems in the recording. But, maybe that's just me.

IMO this is not the same Lori we knew in bodycam and police dept interviews in 2019.

She was a master at manipulating and placing herself as the victim.

If she still has that unethical talent, she could really shine on the stand- and yes, she would like the attention. But I suspect some of her manipulative mojo is lost although she still believes in her godliness and Chad's. IMO only, I doubt she will be as good and controlling the narrative as she has been in the past. I think a trickle of doubt has seeped in, doubt she does not acknowledge, but it knocks her off her game.

IMO she did her best to straddle the fence and distance herself in the LE interview as to the *selective* beliefs she shared with LV and Daybell, until of course, the children are found dead. (and of course there is the death of Tammy and Charles). IMO, she was all up into the 'death' revelations and really tried to unassign blame for LV, saying that LV didnt believe the zombie talk 'initially'. and constantly deflecting using the word 'unusual' when describing conversations with LV about Charles, Tylee or JJ. ugh. IMO, she was zombie talking along with them.

Zulema: she claims she was piecing together all of the people who were considered zombies with death revelations assigned to them, and did die, the children are missing (but Z claims she still believed they were alive). another one all up into the zombie talk. seems like MG and her were afraid they would be the next zombie target.

Yes, she seems more subdued. She’s been locked up for 3 years. She is probably on medication and getting stern counseling from her attorneys. IMO

If you are called for jury selection, consider printing out every page of 3 years of these threads, creating a binder with maybe a Hawaii piccie on the cover, style your hair like The Goddess, copy her clothing....

IMO, the prosecutors have given defense attorneys on both sides every opportunity to get their clients off on these charges and now may get the DP thrown out for sure. I have said before, this may have been their goal. They have had years to prepare their case and get all evidence to defense attorneys. Something is going on.

I found the AFFIDAVIT OF MICHAEL WELNER, M.D. contained in Woods's written response today very interesting. That's probably because I 100% agree with Dr. Welner's conclusions.

My notes from Dr. Welner's affidavit:
The available evidence demonstrates Ms. Vallow’s contrived use of religion to
control and direct others and to eliminate responsibilities impeding her transition to a new life.

Ms. Vallow’s actions and choices during the period preceding, during, and
following the homicides reflect intact capacity to form criminal intent, and an
appreciation of the wrong of the murders.

Ms. Vallow’s involvement in multiple homicides reflects the influence of criminal deviance and personality, such as callus behavior and attitudes, rather than religious directive, and the evidence informing that conclusion.

Ms. Vallow’s involvement in multiple homicides reflects the influence of criminal deviance and personality rather than the influence of major psychiatric illness, and the basis for that opinion.

I really, really, really agree with Dr. Welner. Almost 2000 legal papers in multiple courts in multiple states document LVD's history of creating chaos and drama throughout her entire adult life. Videos and correspondence from friends and family members document how LVD not only disposed of the dogs she had tired of, but also that she and Alex tried to get rid of her second husband.

LV will not be presenting mental health issues in the guilt phase, however, that remains to be seen if the defense opens that door....which the state pointed out could happen. right now, Dr Welner is for the penalty phase only. this case is so interesting because of the 'beliefs' which are not maintstream, which is fine, but not fine, when people turn up dead that were previously marked/identified as 'dark' and 'zombies' which needed to be excised from earth.

Well, if LVD is unwilling to claim she was brainwashed and had fallen under CD's charismatic religious spell, then she has to claim that she wasn't around and didn't know about her children's deaths (come to think of it, she did file an 'alibi' notice). Which is more than fine with me. I prefer LVD having fewer options. I remember that Rob Wood told Lori's sister, Summer, that they had more evidence against LVD, than against CD concerning the deaths of Tylee and JJ. Since being made aware of that, my theory has been that LVD's hair and/or fingerprints might be under the duct tape found on JJ. Or, worse for LVD, her DNA under JJ's fingernails. (I know that they found new hair/hairs, but, that doesn't mean they didn't previously find hairs, fingerprints and/or DNA, also.) I know many don't want to believe that a parent would participate in murdering his or her child, but LVD didn't just dispose of her dogs and husband/husbands, she also tormented them cruelly first. Divorcing a husband is one thing. Hiding his clothes, computer, and truck is another. Worse, LVD hid JJ's underwear, JJ's clothes, and took away his medicine, as well. A miserable JJ meant a miserable Charles. Who would even think of doing the things we KNOW LVD did? The woman was like a cat tormenting its mouse before dealing the final blow.

Anyway, in case it isn't obvious, I put nothing past LVD.
