just doing a quick look-see at DW's testimony at the old prelim hearing, to compare with his testimony today.

am only 7 mins into it but already there's some discrepancies.

today DW says that when DW arrived JJ was there on the couch playing:

but at the preliminary hearing DW says that he arrived at 7.30pm and he only saw JJ when Ac brought JJ in to go to bed.

Also, today, DW says he'd never previously met CD in person, prior to that weekend in Sept:

2 years ago DW says he's known Chad 5 years and crossed paths with him a few times during that time

Lol, I thought she mentioned z-pack- common antibiotics for lung infections.

But I do think there was drug- related items in the home when Alex died.

I thought some trafficking was possible to finance Alex's arsenal. I don't know what the arsenal woukd cost. It sounds like his money was in order until moving to Rexburg. So, IDK.

I doubt Zulema or Alex used drugs or alcohol. Nothing suggested use to me.

If No-doz was in his system... that's caffeine. Caffeine is a no-no under the Word of Wisdom. Doesn't mean he was doing other things, but it seems an odd thing for him to have taken if he was observant of the WoW. It also wouldn't be a good thing for him to take if he had hypertension.

That would results in 1) needle marks which I don't recall any being found and 2) an 'air embolism' - NOT the clots that were found in Alex's pulmonary arteries.
"Embolism" is something floating around in the circulation that doesn't belong there. They can consist of air, fat globules (after a long bone break), amniotic fluid or a clot. It takes a LOT of air to result in a fatal air embolism, but a small-ish clot can be fatal.
Listen, I believer these three were killing off people left and right too- but I honestly think Alex - being in a high risk occupation and driving all the miles he did in the weeks prior- honestly just developed a clot somewhere that broke loose and killed him.
And having personally witnessed my own daughter nearly die of a massive pulmonary embolism - I know a LOT about PEs besides my decades of nursing experience and education.
I get how it is so hard to buy Alex's death being natural.

But (with no expertise in the subject) I haven't found any evidence that it is possible to "time" an induced pulmonary embolism, either. And the most sus thing about his death is the timing.

Alex didn't die of a heart attack, it was a pulminary embolism. Its seems that Alex's death is just a weird coincidence.
I nearly died of double pulmonary embolism that I thought was a heart attack. For weeks leading upto my 911 call, I had the same symptoms Alex supposedly had, and an equally sedentary lifestyle. Much as it would be easy to believe he was offed when TD was exhumed because he knew too much, I believe he really did die as the result of a PE. If what we believe we know about him is true, he deserved worse.

The trip to Mexico for cheaper drugs — could that have been why there was no stateside evidence of prescriptions being filled for JJ’s meds? I’m surprised the defense hasn’t tried to suggest that. Since they haven’t one wonders what it was really all about.

Where is the place to listen to the trial? I keep finding sites that play past days of the trial.

Caffeine is allowed in the WOW. If you live in a high LDS population, you will see lines of cars getting their caffeine fix at the many soda shops around.

Really? I have Mormon friends who freaked out if their daughter even walked into a Starbucks, despite the fact that Starbucks sells things besides caffeine.

Sorry, I posted without my reply…

But yes. Caffeine is maybe frowned upon but it’s not at all forbidden.

I’m quite the addict myself but very much a member in good standing. Love my Diet Coke!

Coffee specifically would be an issue, but my daughter loves Starbucks and they are more than happy to accommodate her drinks with steamed milk and no coffee. Not a problem at all.
