Moo but Lori and Chad both honestly believe their religious ramblings. Unconsciously, they may be acting from sex, money motives but in their deluded conscious state, they are making religious moves. If you've been in young love before, you know how blind you can be about your actions. That is due to chemicals in the body, etc. These two likely have that coursing through their veins as well as deep mental illness. Untreated persons with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia will tell you a story about what is happening but its usually the CIA or God or the devil that's behind it. They are not conscious of their motivations or necessarily their hallucinations. As a result, we cannot be dismissive of the religious part as it likely contributed to their behavior. And their behavior towards the kids, where they put them, what they did/did not do with them. We must consider these factors. A client diagnosed with schizophrenia told me once in regards to bruises found on his bod that a devil visited him and, i'll leave out the graphic details, had his way with him. I could have dismissed this as false and gibberish, a smoke screen; however, to him this was real. Upon further investigation, his caretaker was found guilty of abuse. They had been abusing him and taking his Social Security checks. All that to say, we must not dismiss their beliefs because that is their language. We must listen to it and decipher it and understanding the make up of their beliefs in their minds can be tremendous clues to finding the children.

IMO Chad and Lori twist their religious beliefs to suit their selfish needs. Which religion teaches that it's OK to kill your kids? Or your spouse? Would Lori's belief that the kids were dark spirits be a sign of mental illness? What about Chad's acceptance of her ideas?

But, If they aren’t legally married he can not be protected under spousal privilege?

I don't know about that, but your suggestion triggered a new question for me. Do we have any indications Chad's kids met Lori before Lori and Chad got married?

Also, I've been racking my brain about that doorbell video of an unidentified woman visiting Lori on Oct 29 and who it could be... I can't name who I'm thinking of (due to TOS) so I'll simply post the MSM photos side-by-side for comparison:

Hair length and color and the style of her winter coat seem like "matches" to me. I'm unsure on body type/height. This could be very strong evidence that only 10 days after Tammy's death Chad had moved out of his Salem home already and was living with Lori before they went to Kauai and got married. Our VI's here already told us Chad moved out the day after the Rexburg Memorial. But if that is who I think it is walking up to the door then it's important evidence. Chad can't claim he happened to meet Lori while he was in Hawaii grieving Tammy or editing a book. I strongly believe he went to live with Lori the day after Tammy's memorial and his kids very well could have known where he was living. The day before this doorbell video we have CCTV that captured the 2 men (believed to be Chad and Alex) moving bikes.

Just looking at posts/streams/video etc elsewhere, and things and places come up that I know nothing about.
Driggs Idaho...I see outdoor recreation (CD was into snowmobiling...anyone know where he was involved with that activity---did i read he headed up some club???). And I cannot tell if Driggs is part of Yellowstone or much further away. I hope some of our Idaho friends here can better explain Driggs. Anything weird about the place, or just a wonderful outdoor playground!!

I realize that this is a really minute takeaway from what you've said, but how does one drink a soft drink or eat peanuts with handcuffs on? I would have felt overwhelmingly curious about him/his charges/where he was going. Interesting that the flight attendants weren't.

I don’t think it was this guy’s first day in handcuffs as he seemed to have moved quite a ways along the learning curve. To take the drink he kept his elbows close to his torso, moved his forearms up with his palms facing each other then cupped both hands and took the glass the way a toddler might. Then lowered the forearms straight down till the cup rested on the tray table. When taking a sip it looked a lot like a toddler drinking out of a sippy cup, except his elbows didn’t move out or up much.

I don’t remember how he took the peanuts, only that he had a Hell of a time opening the package. And he had to bring both hands to his mouth every time he ate one.

I VERY curious about the charges, but young at the time and didn’t think it would be “cool” to ask. He was the first prisoner I’d ever met and for some reason it was important to me to seem nonchalant about the whole thing. Apparently I also didn’t know enough to wonder which agency was escorting him.

I think its obvious Lori has been victim of some sort of trauma throughout her life, most definitely as a child. That's no excuse for her behavior but it is important in understanding Lori and thus, her actions, which can lead us to the children.

I don't think we can believe that at all. I think we can say she was a beautiful woman, and she probably knew that. Some who are born with the disadvantage of being very attractive (t-i-c), somehow just learn a better way of getting what they want. I would LOVE to hear about early on stuff...but we don't have any of the usual suspects willing to talk...

I do not know of any religion that says its okay to kill kids. I think Chad and Lori are mentally ill and deluded. They explain their behavior by way of concocted religious beliefs. So, i don't know if they are twisting religious beliefs but they are certainly creating religious beliefs to justify their behavior. Again, i am not justifying their behavior; only suggesting that we cannot discount their language about beliefs. There will be clues in their religious talk.

I think its reasonable to say that most all people who are murderers and show no remorse have had a very dysfunctional childhood. Statistically, it is highly likely.

Can I just say that I was watching EIN with Nate regarding another family whose young wife died mysteriously about a year ago (don’t know if I can post the link), and it just seems really odd that in that part of the country people just seem to drop dead for no apparent reason. Maybe that would explain the coroner’s response to Tammy and thinking an autopsy wasn’t needed. ??

Hmmm... A hard no. By all accounts, she was a good mother to Colby and Tylee up until 2018 when she thought she was god and flipped out. There is no evidence at all of any trauma to her besides the normal life events that many people experience.

I thought RS said as far as he knew CD was not into snowmobiling. CP (the head of AVOW) appears to be a big snowmobiler when he's not preparing for the end of time or stirring things up with other paranoid people.

As for Driggs and surrounding area ... lots of snowmobilers thre and that's been the case for a long time. I think it has become a bit of a mini-Jackson over the years and I know the highways into the Teton Valley get closed more often than most in Eastern Idaho when it snows. Also the way to get to Grand Targhee ski resort leads through Driggs, so I think it would be fair to consider it an outdoor playground regardless of season.

I am also very curious about the process. As far as I know state police can't fly with weapons in the cabin. FBI can as can marshals. Even as a prisoner she can't fly without ID. So what if she destroys her ID to thwart extradition? It wouldn't work but I' curious how this works. I also don't think most governments pay for first class under any circumstances. There is also the question of whether exposing the public to an accused felon is acceptable.

Best guess is a commercial flight, economy class, no restraints but closely watched and a couple of armed air marshals on board just in case.

While they likely are allowed to not tell Chad which flight, the nature of Hawaii is that he will likely know.

Any US LEO can and do travel in commercial airline cabins with weapons if required within the course of their duties.

Since the State of Idaho is now involved through a Governor's extradition request, it's possible that they would foot the bill for transport. They could fly her commercial but she has such a high public profile I wonder if they feel it would be more risky to do that. There's always Con Air I guess. MOO

Another hard no. Showing no remorse would be signs of a sociopath. "Born that way" That said, the high rate of murders in our inner cities is a complete different set of circumstances, ie: drug dealing gang members, often in the section 8 areas with single parent homes. So yeah, those are dysfunctional. Those folks don't generally disappear their paycheck tho, aka their kids.
