I'm grateful IP cooperated so early on and LE was able to assemble these detailed notes. They provide the rationale for getting rid of the kids that I have grappled to understand, namely, that killing them would be a blessing. Their physical bodies were possessed and only death could free their trapped spirits and allow them to move into their next life. AC was the willing scapegoat who could carry this out, Lori's "angel," in her words. These recollections are also dripping with sexual references, including how a man and woman married multiple times would increase in power as their sexual desire increased. Someone here mentioned synergy - how two moving forces that unite can become stronger. The meeting of these two unleashed something truly unholy. Sickening that they sold it though a religious lens.

BBM ITA, but would add that the upper most scapegoat that they use is God. Not Mormonism but God, they just know nothing but Mormonism to base their new religion on so it has hints based on their belief system that they were raised on. I think that even if they were Christian they would have believed the same sorts of things and blamed it on God. Many people have done that throughout history.

With all that has come out in the last days and weeks, I look at it more and more that it really has nothing to do with any religion that we know at all.

BBM IMO trying to understand this based on any religion is moot. They simply made their own religion to justify what they want, sex, people out of their lives, fun, money, etc.

OK, that looks like (almost) the whole thing. Remember, he didn't apparently plan on dropping that letter, but the ex found it on his computer he gave her. WOW is all I have to say! Almost a confession, like he was writing it to a friend or relative all the facts as he knows it (and is actually willing to share). The header and footer are redacted, if ever there. The country was built on the backs of pioneering folks who chipped in their own wealth and effort, and it's a bit of a pain to recognize that and yet see this wealthy nation straddled with $20T in debt for various programs and adventures. I can see where they are coming from. :/ :endrant:

I find it highly odd that 3 months (roughly) after marrying Melani that IP just happened to give his ex wife a computer with this stuff on it. Most people would have wiped it for privacy. Wow, just wow. If this is really what they were teaching I think we can see why Lori would have no emotion about killing someone. She would truly feel justified in her actions. This may have been discussed since I signed off for the night many hours ago and I haven't caught up with the posts since, but I just wanted to point out a discrepancy I read in the docs that Justin has released.

IP's notes on the computer he gave his ex-wife NP:

"My ex-wife, [NP], had been asking for [MBP's] name so she can check her out on social media and get an idea of who she is. [MBP] had been adamant that I not share her full name with anyone for fear that [BB] may locate and harrass her. I couldn't justify that and eventually gave [NP] [MBP's] full name."


NP's email dated Dec 4th 2019:

"He said that she didn't want me learning her last name because I would contact her ex husband and he would tell me that "She tried to kill him and she's in a cult". "


I believe NP. So why is IP twisting what MBP said?


That feeling hasn't left me that he is working both sides. His two scenarios for everything is because he can't manage to explain both. Especially with this line in his note -

"She [NP] told me she'd be going in to meet with the police. I told her I'd go along and lay out everything I understand."

IMO he went to have an ear in on how much the police knew. I think he is deliberately vague about Tammy's and Alex's deaths. I also think he is something of a handler, along with Z. I think MBP knows about JJ and Tylee. It's not adding up that he gives up time with his own kids out of fear but yet he supports MBP, pregnant or not.

I agree. All of this reads like a disinformation/misinformation scheme to try to learn what law enforcement knew. I really hope they believe(d) that law enforcement is that naive. I suspect that both Ian and Melani have lied to the FBI and probably on more than one occasion. If their lawyers have not yet explained it to them yet, they should know there is a 6 year statue of limitations on lying to the FBI. Worse, if their actions were contributing to the furtherance of a crime - regardless of whether or not the Feds are involved with prosecuting the original crime - they can be charged as an accessory after the fact under federal statutes. They can find themselves doing more jail time than anyone else involved in this. Hope they chose a lawyer that explained all of this to them.
