In Laura Wallen's case LE said "no foul suspected" although it turned out later that she was shot in the head and they were on to her murderer right from the start.

Maybe something like is going on here too. Maybe they did see on the footage someone following her into the kitchen and putting her in the freezer but keeping it under wraps while they investigate.

I think there were more drugs and people than anticipated and things went south. [agree, but not in the same way you probably do]

I do think there were aggressive sexual moves that occurred resulting in death. [I haven't seen any evidence that would point to this...can you elaborate? Is it the lyrics to the songs? I would bet my bottom dollar these songs are played at countless parties. Laced weed? The same.]

I am not sure the time sequence we have is right about the whole night. [I agree and many are relying on the idea that the manual surveillance videos were ALL kept up and accurate in a huge hotel]

i do not really know how anyone knows , at this point if the freezer is right after the last time we saw her on what was released. [i agree with that based on what was released. But I believe hotel staff and LE knows. All these speculations are personal opinions without facts]

Its a freezer. We have 142 different stories about the freezer , one door two door locked unlocked doors slide , it was hot, on off frozen wet etc etc. [disagree...well more than 142 "stories". 142+ different stories because no one has ALL the facts. It could be that it was off but the victim accidentally turned it on. No one knows and no sense to reach/grasp at every random rumor or "story". The fact that there are so many stories shows that people need to back off and let LE do their jobs. The family will surely have an option to sue utilizing their own chosen experts if they disagree with findings.]

oh I did not realize ( thanx for the timeline) that only 120 seconds passed (330*332) between the rail where she almost fell and entry into the kitchen -- from what we have heard about the area being far away we know that cant be correct so basically cause the cameras time stamp were not ok we have no idea how much time really passed between those final two segments.

Someone asked about Sizzurp earlier that maybe "freezer"(in the video) was Sizzurp. It is also known as Purple Drank which may sound like "train" in a noisy video. Also "Rape" was mentioned. Sizzurp is "grape" colored and can use a grape flavored Codeine.
So, Sizzurp / Purple Drank is Codeine cough medicine mixed with sprite or soda and hard candy likeJolly Ranchers (no idea).

So one theory going around is they are talking about rape in a freezer and running a train on her.

So here's my take - they were simply talking about grape sizzurp or purple drank.

And since her "friends said she drank "one cup" I'm guessing Kenneka had one cup of Purple Drank.

Any of that make sense? This one is so convoluted.

Yes mom stuff was a bit confussing or it oculd be me ! Mom alluded to the fact that they would not let her in for hours but then in that timeline just posted it reads like they asked her in for ID

mom said they had the freezer thawed out when she first saw her and her hair was all wet ( gave the impression that I hate to say this ) that she had become less frozen too

New here and read through this entire thread. Cariis you seem to be on to something when you stated that it's not tons of surveillance footage to look through. They know what time the girls arrived, they know the room number assigned and they know where her body was found. even if they didn't have the room number, they could search all cameras for a 4-5 hour time period and figure out if someone was with her and piece together what happened.

There is DEFINITELY a cover up here, and the biggest question is "why"? If liability then shame on hotel, I'm sure they've had tons of lawsuits which they've had to pay out. IMO I think it's far more sinister than just a liability cover up and I think it has to do with someone being very well connected within the Rosemont community. Whether or not the friends are involved, not 100% certain however they were very negligent with all the drugs and alcohol.

Videos - I've reviewed several different versions of the video as well and I concur with the body shapes/sizes not matching up. I find it a little disturbing that if the videos were shown to the Mother how would she not immediately look at this and say that "this isn't my daughter"? *this makes my head spin* I do also believe that the videos have been edited in some form - the poor young girl appears to be lead around, if not physically, then by someone calling her name. It's not the walking of a drunk or high person, it's one of someone confused being lead or looking moving around confused as though people are playing hide and seek.

Even if they left her in the hallway if she was coherent enough to push an elevator button and walk off, she would be coherent enough to go back to the elevator, especially once the doors open and you see that you're not on a floor with hotel rooms. Also where is the surveillance video from inside the elevators - all hotels have cameras in the elevators. ????

Yea it's one thing to see your daughter dead, it's much worse I would think to see her frozen solid. They probably waited a while before they let mom come to see her for that reason.

Actually, in many cases, in order to go back and watch (or pull) old video it requires management (or owners, depending on the business type/structure) or even corporate.

And in many cases, it requires a warrant to then turn over a copy.

Also, many places have the video actually stored off site/ remotely, meaning they only have livestream onsite and so 'history' footage wouldn't even be available on premises at many places.

So security may be watching it live at times, but often - especially in larger businesses/corporations - they don't have the power to replay or rewind (or turnover) footage even if they wanted to.

And in other cases, they can view footage back, but can't let anyone else - including PD unless there is a warrant - so might be willing to relay things during the wait (we just had this happen at a shooting here locally where an off-duty officer was shot).

So there are MANY variables in terms of what security can access video wise and when, etc.

In addition, this case obviously involves a considerable number of cameras and a rather long time frame, which changes all of the possibilities of what security could even do immediately even if they have the power.

From some of the YT posts, from folks that sounded local, I got the sense that this hotel had the type of security guard thing where there is guy in uniform sitting at a desk with monitors in front of him

that was just a sense tho and dont know for sure

there actually was quite a lot of posts from people that seemed to actually be there or directly know people that were

there was lots of details and nuance . They knew names of stuff , who was hitting on who etc etc

of course it could be bs but this was stuff that just came out when they were interacting with other people that also seemed to know people as well.

It was the first time I really saw how they are all using SM -

i certainly continue my sense that from the beginning this stuff had potential to be very negative and today certainly reinforced that belief

You are still implying it's someone else but not an actresss? A friend? Another random person in the hotel that night with the same jeans? Or are you saying now that you think it actually is Kenneka and you are just confused about the timelines? ]

[So you are suggesting well over a dozen people (several live streaming) were all there knowing something bad happened and within less than an hour or two came up with the brilliant idea to have someone or some people lure her throughout the hotel, then had staff edit them out of videos with this grand idea, but they effed up because there are shadows?]

[yep...could be seconds...could be hours...not reliable. But friends reported her missing to her mom at 4am it seems. Last she was seen on live video is debatable. She doesn't seem traumatized to me in the videos...just intoxicated, maybe on drugs, but not scared.]
