I know LE said that they had to put a date on there so they just picked one but it says could be with a man or woman. I would think if that could possibly be the case, a description, even if the people may not exist, would be helpful.

'Eyewitness News' has reported that Chicago Police believe Knox is one of nine possible identities of the body found in the lake.

Rockford Police, Chicago Police, and the FBI and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are all involved in the investigation.

Wouldn't the 'date missing' be the day the family friend handed him off to ???? I'm not understanding why LE are having such a hard time pinpointing that if people are being cooperative. Also, lost as to why we're not getting a description of the person/s he was given to last. What is LE official distinction between 'missing' and 'abducted'? Maybe I'm missing that point and why I'm so confused on this one.

13 News has also learned that the person Kyrian was allegedly staying with was arrested the day he was reported missing on a different charge. That's according to Kryian's mother. We know this person's name but are not releasing it. Rockford Police confirm a person by that name was arrested but will not confirm that he is involved with the case. They say the focus now is on finding Kyrian.

Kyrian's mother says she was moving apartments between Marion, Iowa to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She needed someone to watch her son. Her best friend's father offered to take Kyrian Knox in Rockford. She says she dropped him off in Rockford around August 18th and then went to Chicago for a visit. Clannish Knox says on her way back to Iowa for work she visited Kyrian.

"We stopped in Rockford checked in on the boys, everything was fine," says Lanisha Knox.

Could she mean the friend whose father was supposedly watching Kyrian? Wasn't there another baby there? A grandchild or a child? I was away all day visiting my baby girl for her birthday (she's 24, but still my baby), and I expected to come home knowing a lot more. Now I am only more confused. All MOO.

"We" refers to the mom and her best friend. That was mentioned in an article yesterday. I believe it was the WIFR Facetime interview and report (article linked below).

The two friends were moving from one apartment in Cedar Rapids, IA to a different one in Marion, IA. The friend has a child about the same age as Kyrian. (The video or article from yesterday said the other child is fine.) They dropped the children off in Rockford to stay with the best friend's father until they completed the move. After they dropped off the kids, the two women went to Chicago for a day or so. On the way back to Iowa, they stopped in to see the kids in Rockford. That was around August 17-19. After returning to Iowa, they talked to the best friend's father everyday up until Sept. 6, according to the mother. From then, communication was sketchy because he had a problem with his phone.

IMO, I do think that mom was in Chicago like the 20-21 of August and I also think she returned back to Iowa to start a job. I believe all that to be true, IMO, MOO...

I just wish people kept a better timeline of Kyrian than they do their social life.

I think it would be easy enough to prove if Kyrian had never been left with the friend's dad in the first place. So I believe he was there.

I find it odd that a man would offer to watch 2 toddlers for over 2 weeks. My mom didn't watch my toddler for more than 3 days while we moved- and I have 4 kids - it was a LOT to move. Why would they need this man to watch their boys that long to move from an apt to another apt and why would this man be so generous. What man watches 2 year olds for more than a couple of hours unless it's his own?

This whole story is just shady and has lots of holes in it

Seems like they would confirm it if it was true? Wouldn't it help them to release a description of the last person Kyrian was seen with?

If anyone had seen him with Kyrian just before he was arrested, for example, we would have a much better idea of when and where Kyrian actually went missing.
