I've been asking if anyone has actually seen LA in the past couple of weeks. He supposedly was at the hospital on Friday - but we have never really heard confirmation of that.

Rather than him "absconded" - I wonder if he's been in custody - not arrested or charged because that would have hit the police blotter and we certainly would have known that immediately - no, more like being held. Just MHO and wondering if any of the press or neighbors or anyone has actually, physically seen him around. Saying he was off "on business" for the week is an easy out.

FWIW, and I'm not certain which news video it was in, but in (from the daily updates thread on the 23rd,) it did show Lee's Mustang in front of the house, with the red p/u (DC's?) parked behind it, and the reporter did say that Lee's car had been there all day as he was away.

Nah - no way could LA skip town. The FBI is seriously involved - they have eyes everywhere and no way could he have "disappeared". oooo - maybe he was trying to leave maybe even the country and LE and FBI got him at the airport is decided to "hold" him. IDK - I just think its very strange that we have not physically SEEN him since BEFORE Caylee was found. Where is he?

I have searched everywhere I know and cannot find it in any of the jail videos or phone calls, but I know I have seen other posters raise the question as well.

If anyone else remembers this or knows where I can find a link, I would greatly appreciate knowing. It has been driving me crazy trying to find it.

You're not imagining things. It was in a jail-house video. I am thinking it was the day LA saw KC twice, Not sure. Will look for link for you if no one else has it at hand.

Yep - it was around or the day it was announced that it was Caylee. And he was seen over New Year's but since then I can't remember seeing him.

And Potato - you're right - I saw his car there. I'm just saying we haven't physically seen him since Jan. 1

And, didn't GA text Lee during his attempt? Originally it was reported that he did text Lee and others, but not Cindy. Then later BC said GA did text CA. If he did, I wonder what he had to say to Lee?

I remember someone left a memorial on the A's front lawn after Caylee was found, but before she was officially identified - so that was early December, before he supposedly moved in with the A's.

Tater, I've been wondering if that's Mallory's car. Remember back in the jailhouse phone calls about Cindy's 'cameos'? KC tells Cindy that she knows that Lee is there because she saw 'Mallory's car' in front of the house on the news. Just another thing that's always made me go hmmm.

This might be an unpopular view, but I don't think even Lee is stupid enough to try to flee. I do believe he has been lying lower than a sewer pipe and probably grateful that his job takes him out of town as much as it does, but I don't personally believe he is attempting to abscond nor do I believe he is already being held. If he were being held now, the investigators would already be asking tough questions.

I would have thought that if they could produce phone records backing up their claim, she would have been back and flashing them everywhere. I still think there is more to come with this. I think LE were going to wait til after the funeral, but they have grown impatient, which is understandable. The entire family are refusing to co-operate unless granted immunity....that's got to be tough on LE. They've probably never had a murder victim's entire family refuse to co-operate before.

I think they all made a big mistake in underestimating the intelligence of the investigators, or elevating their own intelligence.

And that's what I find odd about BC pleading for privacy. It seems to me the media only bother with the family anymore when he holds pressers on their lawn. No one in the press appears to be monitoring their comings or goings at all.

I remember that too. We were on a thread way back discussing casey and escort services. That conversation in particular was being discussed.
