As we've reported, Allen's attorneys say his physical and mental health have deteriorated since his incarceration in Westville, where he was moved shortly after his arrest in connection to the 2017 killings of Williams and German.

Many Westville guards are also members of the "Odinite cult" and have "threatened, intimidated, and mentally abused" Allen, his attorneys write in the court document.

They argue crucial evidence at the crime scene near Deer Creek and the Monon High Bridge was also withheld.

They say the killers left "runes," which are described as sticks deliberately arranged on the girls' bodies, and used German's blood to paint an "F" on a nearby tree.

The court document also points to four people, whom police have never named, as possible suspects. News 18 also isn't naming them because they haven't been arrested or charged with a crime.
Well, that's sure interesting in a 'Can this get any worse?' kind of way. :( I remember seeing pics a year or so back of what was supposed to be the CS with dolls hanging from trees, and other weird stuff. I dismissed it as some weirdo faking the CS. It still might have been fake CS pics that I saw, but after this news... it makes me wonder why someone would do that IF they had no knowledge of what it appears actually transpired at the CS.

Am I understanding correctly that the defense is alleging that 5 men BH, PW, JM, EF, and RA were the real killers? Why weren't they seen on the trails that day? How did they not end up on the video?

Completely irrelevant, but it irks me to no end that the document refers to RA as "Rick" like he's talking about his college buddy. I get he's trying to humanize RA but it seems so unprofessional and weird to see a nickname in a legal document. That's all.

Agree, I've never heard an Attorney refer to their client by their abbreviated first name, especially in a Motions filing. Truly unprofessional, but in comparison to what they are alleging in that document, it pales.

I'm truly at a loss for words regarding this Motion. I bet there is PC called just to address these accusations surely?

I'm not finished reading it all yet, but it sounds like wild conspiracy. Like the defense team looked for wild conspiracies on Reddit, cobbled them all together and wrote the most convoluted story they could come up with.
I refreshed after an hour away and now my link is NOT THERE????

The entire crime scene is laid out in the document. Crazy!!
This is going to have major repercussions I believe. How did the Defense not file it under Seal?

I kept saying it was going to be awful when we found out, but this is even beyond my imagination. My mouth is literally hanging open I'm so sickened and shocked by all of it. :(

An Odinite from Logansport, whose son reportedly dated Williams, allegedly posted images to social media that mimicked the crime scene.

Another man from Rushville allegedly confessed to his sister about the killings. Two more men — one also from Rushville and another from Delphi — are also possibly involved, Allen's attorneys claim.
I can’t imagine that she was dating.

I personally think RA is engaged in plea negotiations and has been since his "meltdown, paper eating episode" after the big Discovery dump by LE.

I also wondered if his wife tipped him in after his confession? Family member? Anything is possible I guess.

I would swear I heard an interview where Carter said the wife would be a witness or testify. I keep searching for that interview.

I am reading it now and it's odd....reads more like a script someone wrote to read aloud rather than a legal doc for filing, though I have read enough to know that each lawyer does have his/her own style. (I'm far from a legal expert.)

And....poof, in the middle of reading the doc, it disappeared.

Strange happenings.

And remembering the fact that these details are contained in a document to question the validity of a search warrant of RA’s premises. The Judge can only be expected to rule on the motion, not conduct a private trial of these other men and/or cults.

This strikes me as all very weird and it’s not unheard of for fabricated documents to enter the internet in high profile cases. It’s always wise to question what is found on the internet.

If the defence wanted the Judge to consider dropping the charges against RA they would’ve filed a Motion to Dismiss. So why this?
