Who is this motion for?
This is the only appearance filed for the DOC so I'm thinking it's these two.

I think it might be this. The lawyer Deters was representing the DOC.

@Jurisprudence answered my question about that here:
I'm not sure I understand the Q but maybe this will help? The subpoena was served on the prison. The state is in charge of the prison system so that's why your'e seeing the motion to quash being authored by the AG's office. They aren't parties. They were served a subpoena and the state's attorneys (the AG's office) made a motion to get rid of it (quash it) so they wouldn't have to comply. Is that what you were wondering?

@Jurisprudence answered my question about that here:

Thanks but I didn’t really have any questions about it.

That's nothing unusual. IMO. People interview all the time with LE of their own free will and then stop when they lawyer up. Not cooperating with LE after arrest and then asking for council is I'm sure fairly common. Do you think RA's Miranda rights were violated? That's never been stated by the defense, as far as I'm aware?
That wasn't the unusual part. The part that was worth noting IMO was where they knew he was being shipped off to DOC several days prior to when the motion to transfer request was filed. In fact, the article updated on Oct. 30 claimed he was already there.

I'm wondering how much his failure to cooperate influenced the decision to transfer him, without the proper motions and without the benefit of an atty. Additionally, I haven't found any paperwork noting his move to White Co.

Good find! (You know where I’m going with this. :) )
Is Greenlee not bound by the gag order?

A gag order is a court order banning designated persons, such as attorneys, parties, family members, and other involved parties, from talking to the media or public about the case.

RA didn't have the benefit of an attorney because he denied himself legal representation at his initial hearing after arrest. He said he would be hiring his own attorney.

It was weeks later when he wrote "throwing himself on the mercy of the court" that he didn't realize how expensive it was and needed a public defender appointed.

I think MS had done enough 'talking' about this case already. I hope Greenlee is bound by the gag order, I think they have created problems whether intentional or not.

That's a good question. I don't think he's considered an "involved person" just because he's an attorney.
However, if we consider who their inside sources are, then ???
