Maybe exactly that, Ellie1... Having come from the woods at the south end of the bridge, he already knows there's no potential witnesses in the south woods areas. He stepped onto the south end of the bridge and passed the girls coming along in the opposite direction. Then he walked just far enough along the bridge to see that nobody else was on the bridge all the way to the north end. So, then he can safely turn around and go back to where the girls are... confident that nobody will see him force them off the bridge. Of course, we can't know if that's what he did but, it would be the best and safest plan for him and the worst possible plan for the girls.

Yes and there appears to be an unofficial trail from i25 just south of the Freedom bridge that goes along Deer creek on its south side -
MOO to me it looks like a private way to get to the south side of the Monon High Bridge.

MOO from the CPS parking lot a walker has only a small exposure to others when crossing the main trail and then heading south to the area of the proposed foot bridge and the alternate south bank trail.
It is as is being proposed for an upgrade to a groomed trail.
It is just my opinion there is a passable
trail in the south bank where the trail is proposed. Where there is a proposed footbridge there is a sand bank, and my opinion only, it looks to have created the same 3-4" fordable conditions as the sand bank upstream, east the southern end of the MHB.

This is from is a map of the park east of I25 that was posted in #100 being discussed, but I can't find the exact posts, or the original trail map brochure online. I will continue looking.

It does help...Thank you! Looks like he’s wearing one of those hoodies with a pocket in front and he’s got one hand in it. Got one just like that and sometimes I’ll throw my phone, wallet and keys in when I run out. Still don’t see the gun outline a lot of people are seeing. Is it supposed to be in the hoodie pocket (if that is an actual pocket) the blue jacket pocket, or somewhere else?

The right jacket pocket. The outline is impression in the jacket shell material.

Thanks! Will take a closer look

They have to triage through the “intuition” and “dream leads”. People don’t realize how much they delay justice by cluttering up the lead box with tea leaf readings.

They're just as bad as the "I've never been to Delphi but on FB I saw a picture of this man and he looks like the sketch."

Sometimes LE knows, but the evidence is all circumstantial. Sometimes LE knows and has evidence, but the prosecutor wants more before moving forward. They want an airtight case. The 2 sketches in this case might be why LE and/or the prosecutor want more before moving forward. Don’t want to go to trial and lose. Double jeopardy.
I did not say arrest for murder. I said arrest for suspicion.

What exactly is “investigative information”?

Advice for LE.

Tip= my brother came home the night of the 13th and he immediately burned his clothes and shaved his beard and I sometimes hear him calling out Abby's name in nightmares.
Investigative information= have you all thought about looking into the RSO's of the area?

Under the blue jacket on his right side. I have never seen the outline of a gun. I think it’s multiple items.

Lurking since I first heard of the case....when a couple of prominent individuals added to the reward total. Up until now, that angle has been my focus, and I am not entirely giving up on that. Your post leads me to rethink that, though.

As with most folks here, I have been unable to read all the posts. However, I find your post to be possibly the most informative/enlightening of all that I have read.

Welcome, long time lurker and now a poster.:):):)
Hope you have more posts and join us here.

Standard practice is to prioritize the tips, with the specific and credible ones being investigated first.

Once they reach the tips about people who have been discovered via social media, they know they’re in trouble.

I’m sure the vast majority are that type.

I worked a tip line as a volunteer some years ago...yikes, is all I can say. Possibly why I am so jaded about tips, rewards, etc...I would say two possibly worth-looking-into tips per hundred, if lucky...

The only time I remember a tip line being useful locally is when the news showed a video clip of a store robber that was clearer than any image I have ever seen from a video camera. They had a handful of calls at once and all about the same person, who it turned out to be.

I have a very hard time putting the new sketch to the person on the bridge. I guess I am trying to see the forehead of the BG and it looks like a bunch of hair when I look at it. Anyhow , I just went and looked again and I am wondering if anyone else thinks his forehead is concealed ?
Now my mind is playing tricks on me and I am asking myself is that a mask on top of his head. The kind that has the strap to hold it in place. I am sure my eyes are playing tricks on me . Anyone else have any trouble seeing his forehead ?I will be so glad when this monster is caught!

Indiana TV station from South Bend just had a very short news item clarifying about the tip line. LE is now asking that if someone calls the tip line with a person's name, the tipster should also give that person's possible connection to Delphi AND the person's current address if known.

I think it just looks weird because it's a grainy image taken, probably stealthily, 75 feet away. It's difficult to see any details in it.

My sentiments exactly. We just keep riding this merry go round

Delphi-Since the news briefing on April 22, 2019, the Multi-Agency Task Force has received over 2,600 emails, 506 calls to the tip line and an additional 145 calls and or walk-ins to local police departments and state police posts around the state. The total amount since the inception of the email and tip line is over 42,000.

Please refrain from sending investigative information. Tips on possible suspects or information that can lead to the closure of the case is what we are looking for.

  • Be specific as possible to a description
  • Name and age if possible
  • A connection to Delphi and that person’s location or address at this time
  • Leaving information on how we can contact you for possible clarification of your tip is helpful but not required
  • Tips can remain anonymous
If you have a tip, no matter how insignificant you feel it might be, contact us by email at abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.com or phone at 844-459-5786.

Well, my #1 POI has very little hair, so if he is BG, then that has to be a wig of some sort.

The former
I’m not aware of the actual charge of suspicion of murder. I’m not from Indiana which is where BG would be charged though.

Edit: LE can detain someone for reasonable suspicion, but I would think they would wait to arrest for murder till they had strong probable cause like a dna hit or credible witness statement with supporting backup like phone records or something like that before they did so.
