Maybe exactly that, Ellie1... Having come from the woods at the south end of the bridge, he already knows there's no potential witnesses in the south woods areas. He stepped onto the south end of the bridge and passed the girls coming along in the opposite direction. Then he walked just far enough along the bridge to see that nobody else was on the bridge all the way to the north end. So, then he can safely turn around and go back to where the girls are... confident that nobody will see him force them off the bridge. Of course, we can't know if that's what he did but, it would be the best and safest plan for him and the worst possible plan for the girls.

Yes and there appears to be an unofficial trail from i25 just south of the Freedom bridge that goes along Deer creek on its south side -
MOO to me it looks like a private way to get to the south side of the Monon High Bridge.
MOO from the CPS parking lot a walker has only a small exposure to others when crossing the main trail and then heading south to the area of the proposed foot bridge and the alternate south bank trail.
It is as is being proposed for an upgrade to a groomed trail.
It is just my opinion there is a passable
trail in the south bank where the trail is proposed. Where there is a proposed footbridge there is a sand bank, and my opinion only, it looks to have created the same 3-4" fordable conditions as the sand bank upstream, east the southern end of the MHB.
This is from is a map of the park east of I25 that was posted in #100 being discussed, but I can't find the exact posts, or the original trail map brochure online. I will continue looking.
It does help...Thank you! Looks like he’s wearing one of those hoodies with a pocket in front and he’s got one hand in it. Got one just like that and sometimes I’ll throw my phone, wallet and keys in when I run out. Still don’t see the gun outline a lot of people are seeing. Is it supposed to be in the hoodie pocket (if that is an actual pocket) the blue jacket pocket, or somewhere else?
The right jacket pocket. The outline is impression in the jacket shell material.
