I think you're missing the point, pun intended. For example, Luka Magnotta confessed that he idolized Patrick Bateman and mimicked his behavior after him. That movie is an ode to serial killers and if there is a point on a map to Delphi, along with bodies recovered at those other points, things could get interesting.

Interesting observation about the map in Silence of the Lambs. At this point, your theory is as valid as any others.

After reading your post, I went down this rabbit hole last night. Paused and took a screenshot of the map. I noticed another marker near Bardstown Ky, site of several other unsolved murders, including the case of Samantha Netherland.

Had there been a marker near Evansdale Iowa, I wouldn’t have slept at all last night.

Maybe what will happen is the perp will get caught for another crime and it will be similar enough that they can link him. (And yes, I think it’s a him).

I feel he was hunting and found some “prey”. But to maneuver two teens in that way and be able to kill them both after they were already aware of him and on guard, is pretty amazing and it makes me think he has done this before and feels confident.

It will happen again.

I just hope they have some shred of DNA to work with. Otherwise it may be a long time.

Yes, it took guts, smarts and situational awareness for him to be able to pull this off like this. And that is with a partial video and voice of the guy.

This is no dummy and I agree one does not get this "good" by not practicing.

I'm going to do some digging myself. This is a complete reach, but if the killer isn't local it's something. Brett Christensen, the zilch who kidnapped and murdered the Asian girl in Champaign IL would have been my favorite suspect if the video resembled him. The facts of that case are heinous, it's close to Delphi, and I think it's the same type of offender.

Or more like shark-like determination and lack of fear. I know what you mean but I don’t want to use the term “guts” for that creep!

I'm excited because ......
(Off topic: PE guys are beginning work on the Delphi case (btw, state police have asked them to pull back for a bit, but they will move forward soon)!! Thursday, Rebecca Zahau case will be discussed, and tomorrow they are on Court TV).

Starts at 1:35: 30. (...... video follows)
CO - CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #46
PE= Profiling Evil
Ugh! After watching several videos by the Profiting from Evil, er, I mean Profiling Evil, on the Suzanne Morphew case, I'm not excited by this prospect and it doesn't sound like the ISP is either. The only upside to this is that it is more exposure for Abigail and Liberty. I hope they do better here.

I will look at Samantha's case...how strange this is...and freaky weird. Maybe it should be shared. mOO

Extremely random oddity. 1:26:17 of the movie "Silence of the Lambs," FBI boss Jack Crawford is pointing at a map cluing Clarice on where the victims of Buffalo Bill were recovered. The blue dots signify where victims were taken and red arrows signify where bodies of victims have been recovered, one of which points directly, and I mean, directly, at Delphi Indiana. Odd witch hunt, I know, but random, too random not to mention.
Jimmy Wells, the story of the cop who doesn’t want to arrest his friend, no?
I am curious what other places are marked on the map and how you came to realize Delphi may be one of them

The irony is that even though "The Silence of the Lambs" is a movie, the lesson is still the same in real life. The map points in the movie as well as any other forensic evidence meant very little without a name of a suspect.

Until I re-watched the movie I realized I had forgotten about an important plot point. From the very beginning, Lecter knew who Buffalo Bill was.

Even though the cases and the locations could be linked by what the killer in the movie does to the bodies(as well as any other forensic evidence left on them), without a name, the cases would have remained unsolved. The killer seemed to cover his tracks regarding where he purchased his insects too.

This is only my opinion, but the reason that movie was so good was how subtle it was regarding what Lecter knew. The movie really is a quid pro quo conversation between two people, one who has information that the other wants. A level of trust is developed that culminates in the story about the lambs and how it impacts Clarice's life. And even then Lecter does not give her the name.

So how is this related to the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German? None of us knows what type of information or evidence the police have regarding this killer, but police may have evidence. The missing piece might be that they need that name to connect it to a person.

Very observant. I agree. Only, Brett Christensen who has been through the army after the college, something like it. Rogher and with better spatial skills. But inside, still nerdy Brett. Maybe the same pattern of marriage, too.

"He covets, and how do we begin to covet?"
"We covet what we see, every day."
