I don’t know if it’s true either, it’s just what they said.
I would happily be wrong about everything in this case if we could just get an arrest and a trial.
I believe Kelsie said in a live interview that she and a group of friends were on the road that goes under the bridge. She said they other group was searching the area below them. The fact that she says she yelled down to them backs that up.My memory is that Libby’s shoe was found across the creek from where the bodies were found, near the creek, stuck in mud and leaves. That seemed to be accepted until someone somewhere mentioned it being found on the driveway. My thought at the time was someone was skewing the information to try and support their theory that the girls were taken somewhere and brought back...”because someone should have seen that shoe the day before...”.
For what it’s worth, the HLN special last night showed the shoe mired in mud and grass and leaves, not on a driveway.
I have always thought of BG as a total geek..I still think he had a camera rig, I think the white things are the cables to the camera. I think of him as a 2 way radio geek, police scanner stuff and recording and videotaping his exploits.
this is mOO...but I think he recorded his crimes...he also looks like the type that would impersonate different characters...
wonder if he ever requested a map? mOO

Like a bomb threat being called into Indiana Packers on Feb 22, 2017? (the same day that 'Down the Hill' audio was released at the presser.)
Did this happen? Wow. I never knew that.
Do you have more information about it?
Discarded DNA is what it's called. It's totally legal to collect, and I think they can use it in court; but on true crime shows they usually use it for a warrant to arrest and then collect suspect's DNA again formally at police station and that's the sample they use for court. But does it fly in court? How is the legal side of it?
Can you go to court with the cup you pulled out of a thrash bin?
This was a good video to watch! Ms. Cailean hadn't had alot of familiarity with the case before the show, but as a criminologist watched snippets of the press conferences and gave great input just 'off the cuff', several points which I and I think many others following the case hadn't thought of. One in particular for example, she said mention of 'The Shack' by LE was NOT just a spur of the moment add-in by (sorry forget his name at moment, but I believe the Sheriff) due to his religious leanings, but that it was a very deliberate message. (also that he did stick to a script, even with his mention of seeing 'The Shack' as he often looked down at his written notes) Interesting perspective in general that she came from as a pro). Too involved to explain here and do her words justice, lol. I tended to fast forward to the middle and end of video as it was lengthy, for the more informing bits! One thing of note, she does think LE was zeroing in on one suspect in particular, and that they weren't being dramatic when they said he was very likely in the conference room.
There was considerable discussion about the shack on here a few years ago after the press conference by the Sheriff. If I recall correctly, at that time, most posters agreed that it was a deliberate message. I didn’t really glean anything new from the video as most of Cailean’s input to the case has been hashed and rehashed in previous threads over the years by posters here. This was a good video to watch! He wasn't caught during 4 long years, so he did all things well, even in letting Libby's phone behind. So he seems to have an idea of communication techniques and tracking. IMO
Hopefully!IMO, I believe the evidence on Libby’s phone will be part of his demise one day.
Yes, I do recall us discussing it here, I had forgotten whether or not most felt The Shack mention was deliberate or not lol. Either way, Cailean was interesting to listen to and no doubt would have alot more insight if she was involved in the case. She did think releasing more information wouldn't be a bad thing! There was considerable discussion about the shack on here a few years ago after the press conference by the Sheriff. hi! new to the site/case.
is it possible that the phone recorded more than what's been released by LE?
