I'd really like to know which one of these photographs/video stills was taken first.

If you look at the shading on the wood, some of the planks are darker than others. By looking at the position of his feet compared to them IMO the photo/still on the right is the first in the sequence.

For those of you believe in prayer, pray for resolution. Those who don't, think positive thoughts. There is a drought in this case, and don't want to come back here months from now and see we have no better information than when we started.

Doesn't it look like the one on the right was taken first. If I look at his feet, they aren't as far up to that dark line as the one on the left.

That's the impression I had too. I think he was walking straight before he started to turn, not straightened out after a turn.

The object in the IR photo looks like a colostomy or bladder bag, IMO. People wear one or the other after having had bladder cancer(or removal due to trauma) or part of the colon removed.

I think of you look at the original pics, that is a flash of light on the thigh in a blurry picture. That being said, I could be wrong, and it seems lately, often am.

There was some discussion about a possible connection. I see far too many differences in the cases, though. My biggest take away was not only is BG's appearance equal to the majority of men in rural central Indiana but also to men in Tennessee. JMO.

My apologies. I've been trying to keep up with the threads every day, I must have missed that discussion. Sorry, everybody! Seemed curious that the event in that story occurred on the 13th, the obvious similarities in appearance, and that the location from which the event occurred is only 6 hours from Delphi. I'll go back and see if I can find that discussion. Again, my apologies.

My Opinion Only. :)

No apology needed! Others may feel differently about a connection. That was my opinion only, certainly could be wrong.

And most of the men in the Mid-West!

Sorry for the long post.

From these articles and videos linked below, it looks like family, friends and volunteers searched all Monday evening/night (Feb 13) and into the next day. Looks like the police, etc. searched until about midnight Monday and restarted the next morning. Abby and Libby were found by volunteer searchers about 12:15 on Tues, Feb 14.

RL said people asked for permission to go on his property at about 6:30PM on Monday. Sunset was at 6:20PM so it was almost dark at that point. IMO, I think the searchers didn’t go to the crime scene area that night (maybe near before the slope going down on the same side or on the other side).

  • Feb 13, 5:30PM: After family could not locate the girls they contacted the Carroll County Sheriff's Department. The Carroll County Sheriff's Department, Delphi Police Department, and Delphi Fire Department were joined by the Department of Natural Resources to search for the two missing girls.
  • 6:20PM Sunset in Delphi
  • Feb 14, 12AM: The search for the two missing girls was scaled back around midnight because of the dark. At this point in time, Sheriff Laezenby said they had no reason to believe that the girls were in imminent danger and crews would resume their search in the morning.
  • Police, firefighters and volunteers searched the area until around midnight Monday and restarted the search when it became light outside Tuesday morning.
  • Feb 14: In video, WTHR reporter says good morning, but it’s still dark. She mentions family and others wanting to help search still coming out (with flashlights).
  • 7:40AM Sunrise in Delphi
  • In video, Fox59 reporter mentions the sun coming up, seeing people come throughout the morning to help with search, people searching all night.
  • By mid-morning, the downtown Delphi Fire Department became a makeshift command center for volunteers assisting in the search. Crews were being sent out 10 to 12 people at a time to help cover an area of 20 to 25 square miles, Leazenby said.
  • Searchers looked for the girls into the night and resumed the next day. Volunteers found their bodies about 12:15 p.m. Feb. 14 east of the Monon High Bridge on the north shore of the Deer Creek, police said.

HI sleuths.. this is my first post so im probably going to mention something that's been covered a million times before so ill apologize right now:thinking: ...but as a newbie can i ask who it was that owned the white truck at the very end point of the photo of abby on the bridge ???-you have to zoom really close to see it..its behind the pillars that people thought may have been 2 people and the truck is very clearly visible..no mirage. Was it identified for us by LE?

Awesome work. Thank you! So, the 11:45 start was likely the start time for one of the groups of 10-12 members and maybe was the one photographed and tweeted about as posted in an earlier tweet.

I recall the interview of the grandfather thanking people for searching all night. It seems even less likely, then, that they were taken elsewhere and brought back at a later time. Jmo.

And most of the men in the Mid-West!

Fair enough. Though...most of the men in the Mid-West, regardless of appearance, didn't also abscond with a blonde, caucasian teenage girl, on the 13th of a month, only 6 hours from Libby & Abby's murder location.

JMO

I know that LE has to keep certain things under wraps for prosecution reasons but I am just so disappointed in the direction that this has gone. Liberty did her darndest to make things "easy" and LE has asked for the public's help. I think we need more. We need something else, another clue, because obviously the picture and voice isn't cutting it. I just feel so bad for those girls and their loved ones. They need a break in this case!

That's why I'm curious whether it's an actual IR enhancement, or just been "played with" in a B&W setting. If it's truly IR enhanced, then that is an area that is likely warmer, temperature wise, than the surrounding area, and it's shape definitely looks like that of a "thigh bag" for bladder emptying.
I think of you look at the original pics, that is a flash of light on the thigh in a blurry picture. That being said, I could be wrong, and it seems lately, often am.

Welcome!

LE said there is no vehicle in that photo. It is a guide rail.

Thank you for posting. Your remarks sent me on a search where I found hydration bags that can be worn on your back or possibly from your belt from which a hose runs to your mouth allowing you to drink water as you are hiking.
