Yes. All valid points.
You're right. Blunt trauma was definitely COD with Chelsea. It was apparently difficult to discover whether the other bone breakage was caused due to other factors such as the body being drug and later uncovered by excavating equipment.
And I don't know what Delphi is like and what the typical cases involve. In rural areas like Maybee, where Chelsea is from, I don't think officers see the level of crime and violence officers tend to see in other areas though. I remember several officers commenting this case was exceptional for the area.
In any case, all I am saying is it may be a local amateur not a serial killer. And the COD may not be as outrageous as some of us originally thought after hearing LE comments. Just saying this to keep all options open.
Thanks for the discussion!

Oh I am so with you on suggesting it may not be some sensational serial killer, that it may be an amateur who just got incredibly lucky, and I so appreciate you bringing in other cases to use as examples. I'm actually not in "camp SK"...I'm not sure what I think anymore but I'm not convinced there is enough evidence at our disposal right now to be sure of much at this time.
I also strongly agree that, just like those who have differing opinions about the "remoteness" of where our girls were found, the shock of the LE would definitely differ based on their experience. Just as you said, a place like Maybee (and Delphi) wouldn't have LE used to crimes of this nature, it's that the ISP and FBI also seemed to have strong reactions that makes me think maybe something rattled them. Who knows! Thank you, appreciate all you said!
