KN needs to watch what she says because she’s wants her kids back. The way she was living in the car and in the woods with an infant and another child as well as DN a felon shows she is guilty of putting those kids in harms way! I don’t know what it will take for her to get them back.

So if there's a plea deal, he's going to plead guilty to something in exchange for getting a lighter sentence on all charges, or some of the other charges being dropped? What's his bargaining power, I guess is what I'm wondering. Which charge would they reduce or drop?

I think they've already dropped the assault charge to just trespassing. Perhaps he'll admit possessing if they drop the menacing or vice versa. What else was it? FTR as a SO and driving w/o a licence again? He has to do time right? It wouldn't be just probation would it unless Indiana wants him?

I sure hope it wouldn't be probation, and I'm not a lawyer but I think it's possible (though unlikely) that it could be. Based on the gravity of the charges, I sure hope there'd AT MINIMUM be an attempt at rehabilitating him before sending him out--his past history is nothing to fool around with. Even if he's not BG, he's proven himself to be one unhinged dude that's a menace to society IMO.

There's just so many reasons why he could be BG, but I'm not hearing any reasons he could be ruled out.

I know a couple of very good possible reasons to rule him out... No one can place him in Delphi and there is absolutely no publically known evidence that implicates him. JMO.

Right...no one can put him in Delphi. We don't know the COD so we have no way of knowing if it fits any of DN's MOs (sexual assault, hatchet, type of gun, etc.). Some of us don't even think he looks like the sketch or picture of BG-at least not enough to be a dead ringer, like others seem to think.

Good question. Possibly. It wouldn't surprise me, however, if he didn't go off the radar (either arrested or deceased) shortly thereafter the crime.

With such little information to go on, at this point, I can definitively stick to any one theory. Could be DN, could not be. Might be a serial killer, might not be. Could have been catfished, seen something someone thought they shouldn't have, or just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. BG could be someone they know or a total stranger. He could be incarcerated, dead, or hiding out. My point is that I don't feel that there has been enough information presented to create any solid theory right now so I am pretty much open to all of it. And I agree-DN is no more likely than anyone else until further info is released.

I don't believe he's dead, maybe if we were waiting years and not a clue, not another killing, poi's have passed on and there isn't a whisper or a clue from any person who might know any thing.

but it's been less than a year. I would be less inclined maybe by an inch or so to appoint DN as BG if KN had not delivered so many flat out whoppers concerning the ..

I am beginning to think Abby and Libby murders will only be solved if someone comes forward with information on who did it. And sad to say, if that were going to happen I believe it would have happened by now.

So many victims never get justice. I am still trying to hold onto hope that these two friends, daughters, athletes, lovers of nature will not have to remain forever on that list. It's just so hard to keep the faith sometimes.

Thank you to all of you who visit here everyday hoping and praying for justice. It is very difficult not to give up hope after the many months that have passed but I am still confident they will get this monster. I wonder how many tips are still coming in.

I get all of that. There are too many unknowns.

The thing I feel more certain about is the BG being not known personally and previously to either girl. We have the image and the voice still, yet no indication from anyone around the town recognizing him, or any link to their social media accounts of someone looking like the still frames of him captured from Libby’s video. Granted, there are people who disguise themselves on social media, but what a lot of work. That bridge itself! Maybe the mall, but to lure someone there. If we had more information, that might make sense, but with what we do know, not so much.

It boils down to a stranger killing, IMO, being more likely. An opportunistic sort of predator. DN does seem to be the best contender so far, and if not him, someone like him. Maybe older, maybe smarter. Not sure. It’s maddening it’s almost a year.

Just because nobody can place him there doesn't mean he wasn't there, and it's also possible someone is holding back info that does place him there. I don't think it's much of a stretch to imagine he might've been there, being he has no alibi and wasn't too awfully far from there when he signed into the sex offender check-in on the 14th.

A lot of things seem a bit too coincidental for me to rule him out. I wouldn't rule him out based on "no publicly known evidence that implicates him" either. LE doesn't make a lot of things public until they've got their ducks in a row or until they're good and ready to IMO...

Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised at all if DN is BG. I'm not here to try to convince anyone that he is. But I wouldn't be surprised either if LE announced tomorrow that they have a totally different POI or suspect. I trust they will get the right guy in the end (and I pray they do get him). Doesn't matter who to me...I just want the case solved like everyone else, the long-awaited closure for the families, and to see justice served. The harshest of justice for what this monster has done!

An absence of direct evidence is reason to drop him lower on the list of POIs, but not a rule out.
A rule out would be an airtight alibi.
