Do you think he intended to return her to her bedroom after abusing her?
That would certainly be a first if so.
Wouldn't it be easier to duct tape her at the house answer abuse her there?
These people never make sense to me.

I doubt Roach intended on murdering Aleah. I think he abducted her with the intentions of sexually abusing her while she was alive, killing her would have defeated that purpose unless this is a case of Necrophilia.

Roach likely didn't know the amount of care Aleah needed and without her medication it was only a matter of time before she passed. How long that amount of time was might never be know unless Roach gave details on how long Aleah was in that house before he noticed she was deceased. Which apparently didn't even stop him from continuing to abuse her. Just how long that went on, I don't want to know.

Based on all I've read, that Roach came IN the window and took Aleah OUT the same window... I'm calling BS. Sorry, that's me being kind. There's no way he did that and left everything undisturbed. Unless of course, things were in fact disturbed and someone put everything back into place before reporting her missing and eventually allowing LE and media into the residence to capture these pics.

But still... if Aleah's bedroom window was on the left side of the house as jessarox posted earlier... what is that, like, 12 inches clearance between houses?? I mean, it looks TINY from the image. Plus, add into the mix that Roach is allegedly all baked on K2. Do we really believe he pulled this off like this?

Nope...... I'm not buying it. There's something else going on here. More involved, and more that knew the truth from day 1.

moo.

People are guessing the layout of the house. I'd like to know the exact layout before calling bs.

I am so very sorry about what happened to Aleah it is horrific. It is very tough seeing photos of Aleah surrounded by her stuffed animals knowing her fate. I hope everyone involved is punished to the max.

Lead detective puts to rest any ideas of Aleah being hurt the night Demarco fired shots in the house. He specifically mentions interacting with her and knowing she was fine. http://www.14news.com/clip/13221957...etective-gives-inside-look-into-investigation

30+ minute RAW interview with Aleah's grandmother (not the one we've seen more from, I believe this is actually her step-grandmother): http://www.14news.com/clip/13218131...ey-beckerle-prior-to-arrest-of-terrance-roach

BTW, 14 WFIE is notorious for removing video clips from their site so if you want to see it in the future, download it to rewatch.

Also, unfortunately, the Facebook group is now private: http://www.14news.com/story/35059984/family-of-aleah-beckerle-privatizing-facebook-group

That seems to have been recorded Friday. Interesting though.

Short video with detective Melton. The last sentence the reporter says Melton says that "the family was NOT involved." Sounds pretty definitive... Also talks about tying up loose ends in the case, etc. It sounds like they are pretty sure Terrence Roach did it. I guess they know more than we do but it just doesn't sound right to me.

Also, looks like the autopsy report is going to be sealed: http://44news.wevv.com/court-ordered-seal-placed-aleah-beckerles-autopsy-report/

Is that normal for cases like these?

^Local reporter live tweeting from the court appearance. TR is appearing via video conference. Seems odd but maybe that's normal?

Usually video is cheaper and considered safer for the inmate.

Two articles with statements from TR's lawyer:

http://www.courierpress.com/story/n...aleah-beckerle-death-appears-court/100065298/

"I seriously doubt there is any evidence of any sexual intercourse," Grampp said. "It is difficult for me to believe this guy, as small as he is, could climb in a window, lift somebody up, haul her out, climb back out and close it."

Glenn Grampp is the lawyer and he's not a regular public defender (as in, I don't believe he was assigned this case but he chose to take it on) but he has done public defense work before. He was the lawyer for Kendra Tooley who was convicted of rape and criminal confinement (source) in the Joelle Lockwood case (WS thread).

Partial 911 recording and transcript released:

http://www.14news.com/story/35082041/911-call-released-from-night-aleah-beckerle-went-missing

Looks like one of the sisters called but they did hand the phone over to mom and the snippet of the recording has her voice. Genuinely sounds distraught.

Also, from that article:

Cara: The bathroom window was open and the backdoor, that's unlocked, the backdoor and the gate is wide open in the back. They took her. They came in my house and they took my disabled daughter.

As it turns out, police don't believe the bathroom window and the back door were involved. They tell us the evidence confirms Roach's confession that he came in through Aleah's bedroom window and took her out that same window.

Also, funeral arrangements have been announced and looks like her body will be released to the family in the next few days. Browning funeral home is donating their services.

I would guess that 999 call was released to stop people speculating about CB being involved.

Good point, I was wondering why the media didn't bother getting it until now. It makes sense if they weren't allowed to get it before.

Woman Who Found Aleah's Remains Haunted by Discovery

The discovery that cracked wide open the case of Aleah Beckerle is the discovery that continues to haunt Cathy Murray, the woman who found Aleah's remains. Murray said she and some friends were 'bando hunting,' which involves going inside abandoned houses to search for items that can be re-sold or refurbished.

Definitely worth a read. She did not call the cops about the body, her boyfriend (who is in jail) did. Neither person is a suspect (both were quickly cleared) so we can't sleuth but there's more to the story, IMO. :ziplip:

EDIT: This article has the boyfriend's name: http://44news.wevv.com/details-coming-light-beckerle-case/

how awful, I cant imagine seeing that.

The story he has told has always seemed a bit off---like climbing in and out of the window, etc...

but in the article it says:

According to the probable cause affidavit, Roach confessed to the crime, stating that after smoking K2 or synthetic marijuana, the idea of going and taking Aleah just 'popped in his head.' Roach allegedly admitted to breaking and entering into Aleah's home through a side window of the bedroom belonging to Aleah. Roach told detectives that he did this to avoid waking up anyone inside the home, the affidavit stated. Roach then told detectives that he picked up Aleah, carried her and then exited the home through the same window, according to the affidavit.

But if he was on K-2, then he was not at all in his right mind. He had no idea how he came and went. He could have walked right in the front door, and thought he climbed through the window.

He used to live there and he hung out there a lot. So the dog knew him, and he knew the door might be unlocked. So it makes more sense to me that he would feel safe walking in quietly. Because even if someone woke up when he first arrived, he could easily give an excuse for being there.

I think he came in through the unlocked door, waited around to make sure everyone was asleep, then carried her out the way he came in.

He may have come in on previous nights and messed with her---or did so when he used to live there?
