The same mom who was supposedly at work?

The business owner stated he saw Mom walking at around 1:00PM, the abduction supposedly happened at noon. So the timing of what that witness saw is in line with what Dad said happened. She was likely called at work, and came home to help look for Delano.

If mom was at work at noon, got the call to come home due to the alleged robbery/kidnapping, it doesn't strike me as odd that she was home/near the 'abduction site'. I question whether she was at work earlier that day.

"Any witness account, any evidence we have from both the mother or the father, we look into everything," said IMPD Chief Rick Hite.

Hite says he's feeling the pressure to find out what happened to Delano Wilson.

"I am a grandfather. I feel for that grandmother, I feel for that mother, I feel for the father. I just think that its important that we show we care as a community and big or small when the investigation takes place," Hite said.

Despite what police call inconsistencies in his accounts of the abduction, police say the boy's father is not a person of interest. But they still have questions about Wilson's account of what happened.

"You can look at the interviews that he has done with our local media affiliates and you can see there are some inconsistencies of what he is saying...but that's not the focus of what we are doing, we just need to fill in some of those holes to be able to find Delano," Adams said.

I'm trying to read between the lines. He's not a POI, but they are questioning his account and trying to fill in holes in his story?

I cannot find a msm article that says she actually was at work. I know in her emotional plea she states she just got a job two days prior to the kidnapping but that's all I've seen. No doubt she's told LE where she was but I haven't seen that released anywhere.

2.5 days to fill in those (gaping IMO) holes.

Except, she was seen walking away from her home just before 1pm according to the man who works down the block. It seems to me if I got a call at work & was informed of my husband being knocked out and the baby taken, the first place I'd head would be the ER or the police station or wherever it is he went after police arrived so I could hear from him first hand exactly what happened. I seriously doubt they just sent him home??

WHAT?!?!??! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can you stop looking for an infant so soon???? He's so tiny, he could be anywhere!!! Check all boxes, all trash bags, all attic spaces, garage spaces, etc. Just a tiny baby. :tantrum: Some days I hate the human race. :(

Trying to get caught up here...
Has law enforcement named anyone a suspect or person of interest yet?

Thank you Bravo :)

Just a reminder for eveyone...

Until or unless someone is named we can discuss what is in the news and what law enforcement says. We can not accuse anyone.

:tyou:

Wow. It seems they must have a poi if they're stopping searches?? Or at least an idea of what happened? :/

That's my thinking. Such an abrupt halt. First the Amber Alert followed by the statement ^ there are presently no planned searches. Something has to be going down?????????

A half-block south of the center of the search area, Dan Segner was standing on Friday outside an auto repair shop building and storage lot he owns.

Segner said he was working there at the time the child was reported to have been kidnapped Wednesday at about noon, but said he did not see a man or child. He said if anyone had come around the business, his watchdog would have alerted him.

However, Segner said he did see a woman, who he later realized was the child's mother, walking south on Chase Street, which is one block east of Harding, just before 1 p.m. The family's home is on Chase.
Segner said she walked to the corner of Oliver and Chase, but he never saw her return. She did not appear to be walking casually, he said, but instead was pacing at the intersection, "like she was looking for someone."

He was interviewed by police, Segner said, and he told them what he had observed. Specifically, he said they asked whether he had seen a man and baby.

"I told them no," he said.

And... no sleuthing of anyone and posting it here at this point.

I wonder what they mean by the "kind of search"

Adams said there would not be that kind of search over the weekend. However, investigators met late Friday to go over what they knew so far and decide their next steps, which likely would include going back to talk to Delano's parents, Willie Wilson and Taniasha Perkins, to "fill in some gaps," he said.

Can I just say this dad is really lucky. Because if I had left my SO/Husband with my baby and he called to tell me that he had been kidnapped. I would have probably smacked him silly:blushing: after hearing that story. However that is just me and my Latin blood boiling over loosing my child. But that is just me:moo:

I am so sad and heartbroken that there will be no search. It just means, usually, that LE knows something that they are not releasing. And that something can not be good:tantrum:
:moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo::moo:

I can hardly look at little Delano's pics right now. Heartbreaking. Where are you little man???!!!
